CANTOR FITZGERALD NEARS $4B SPAC DEAL WITH ADAM BACK

*Cantor Equity Partners 1, a blank cheque vehicle that raised $200M in cash in an IPO in Jan, is in late-stage talks with Adam Back, founder of Blockstream Capital, to buy more than $3B in the BTC. Back is in discussions to contribute as much as 30k BTC. It would be part of a broader deal with Partners 1, in which it would raise as much $800M in outside capital to make further purchases of the BTC, putting the overall deal at $4B+

*Back & Blockstream would contribute BTC in exchange for shares in the Cantor vehicle, which would be renamed BSTR Holdings.

*Cantor’s combined crypto purchases between its two vehicles, BSTR Holdings and Twenty One Capital, could reach nearly $10B this year.
