Why does the voice change with helium?
When you inhale ambient air, your vocal cords vibrate in "normal" mode.
However, helium has a lower density, around 7 times lower than air. As a result, the vocal cords are less strained and vibrate at a higher frequency. The voice becomes higher and more squeaky.
And if you inhale a heavy gas, such as sulfur fluoride, which is five times heavier than air, even a child will start talking in a bass voice.

Super Absorbent Polymer: poly-acrylamide polymer crystals are able to absorb up to 200 times their volume of water. Here seven small spheres, approximately 4mm in diameter, were immersed in water for three hours, after which they were slightly more than 23mm across. The final gel sphere is more than 99.5% water- and they bounce!

Google developing a Starline system for 3D video calls with effect of total presence
The goal of the project is to achieve the effect of nearly total presence of the interlocutor to your video calls. The callers, who are thousands of kilometers apart, communicate as if they are speaking through glass, all the while being in the same room.
This system comes with several cameras, sensors and a large display inside.
The project combines three key technologies – the creation of a 3D model of the caller, data compression during transmission in real time and visualization of 3D images and voices on other end of the call.
