▫️ Sovereign wealth funds per capita around the world

Norway has the most money for its citizens: $279,000 per capita! (We also recently wrote about the world's largest Norwegian sovereign fund)

The second place goes to Singapore (253 thousand dollars per citizen), and further - to oil-producing countries: Kuwait (210), Qatar (164) and the Emirate of Abu Dhabi from the UAE (135)

In our country, despite the abundance of oil/gas, the state has not managed to save up anything more or less noticeable for its citizens: 1466 per capita doesn't compare to the figures of other oil-producing countries and is even inferior to those of China (2378 dollars per capita).

The Royal Greenwich Observatory has announced the winners of the Astronomy Photographer of the Year 2022

This year the jury reviewed more than 3,000 entries from participants from 67 countries. The big winner was Gerald Remann with his photo of Comet Leonard, which was discovered in 2021. It is now rapidly leaving our solar system and, according to scientists, will never return.
