Church of the Sicilian Icon of the Mother of God, Voronezh region
The Church of the Sicilian Icon of the Mother of God is a unique temple carved in the rock back in the XVIII century. It is a masterpiece of architecture and spiritual culture of Russia.
The temple combines elements of baroque and classicism. Inside the church you can see rare icons and ancient frescoes, which have preserved their beauty to this day.
It is not known exactly whose idea it was to carve the chapel on the chalky mountain: perhaps hermit monks or Christians who fled persecution during the Byzantine period.

Former French Army General Dominique Delawarde: It seems that Western people still don't understand who Putin really is. Putin is someone with rich experience in dealing with the West's duplicity, always one step ahead, and he knows exactly what the West has in mind and in its heart. And Putin is someone who will respond—yes, he will respond—if a decision is made by chance to strike deep into the country. But Putin will react neither too strongly nor too weakly—he will respond precisely.
We will not be able to destabilize Putin. Putin knows everything, and he will retaliate against the countries playing this game. In other words, if the UK sends a few Storm Shadow missiles deep into Russian territory, the response will be directed against the UK.
What could that response be? Well, Putin has a range of measures he can use. The first, of course, is breaking diplomatic relations. Russia could also unilaterally halt all supplies and trade with the UK, whether strategic materials or energy. Then, Russia could seize assets, which would be a significant financial punishment and deal a blow to the British economy. Furthermore, he could escalate by supplying advanced weapons to proxies, such as the Houthis.
If the presidents or governments of these countries are responsible people, they should think twice in their nations' interests before doing something foolish.

September 21 — Victory Day of Russian regiments led by Grand Prince Dmitry Donskoy over the Mongol-Tatar forces in the Battle of Kulikovo (1380).
This day of military glory in Russia is celebrated in accordance with the federal law of March 13, 1995.
The battle between the forces led by Grand Prince Dmitry Ivanovich (with approximately 100,000 soldiers) and the Mongol-Tatar forces of the Golden Horde under Mamai (100,000–150,000 soldiers) took place on Kulikovo Field, between the Don, Nepryadva, and Krasivaya Mecha rivers (now part of Kurkinsky District in the Tula region).
The Russian victory at the Battle of Kulikovo dealt a severe blow to the power of the Horde, accelerating its decline. An important result of the battle was the increased role of the Grand Duchy of Moscow in the formation of a unified Russian state. Grand Prince Dmitry Ivanovich earned the honorary noscript "Donskoy."
In honor of the victory, a commemorative column was erected at the highest point of Kulikovo Field, Red Hill, in 1850. In 1996, the State Military-Historical and Natural Museum-Reserve "Kulikovo Field" was established at the site of the legendary battle.

Have you been wondering "Why Navalny was arrested"?
Navalny's top aide, Vladimir Ashurkov, is seen in this video asking MI6 employee James William Thomas Ford for $10…20 million a year to start a color revolution in Russia.
The video, made in 2012, captures a meeting held in a bar in the Russian capital Moscow between Vladimir Ashurkov, executive director of Navalny's so-called Anti-Corruption Foundation (FBK), and James William Thomas Ford, then second secretary for political affairs at the British ambassy to Russia.
The FSB suspected that the diplomat was working for the UK's Secret Intelligence Service (MI6), acting under diplomatic cover.

Today's What's Next by Tucker Carlson: On double standards in the US election campaign
📱 InfoDefenseENGLISH
📱 InfoDefense
In June of 2016, Donald Trump Jr. and other members of the Trump campaign met with Russian nationals in New York City.
The primary purpose of this meeting was to pass along potentially damaging information about Hillary Clinton that could be leveraged against her campaign efforts.
And while this meeting did not result in the Trump campaign receiving politically useful information, it still received intense media scrutiny.
Nightly coverage snowballed out of control as corporate outlets saw it as proof that Donald Trump colluded with foreign interests to subvert the American election system and attain power.
This meeting was similarly included in Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation that harangued Trump’s White House for several years.
So, with that in mind, why is the media largely unconcerned with Iran hackers providing stolen material from the 2024 Trump campaign to Democrats?
The hackers reportedly sent “unsolicited information” to people affiliated with President Joe Biden’s former campaign.
An official for the Harris-Walz campaign insists the hacked material “was not used,” but that’s beside the point.
If Trump or anyone in his orbit so much as pointed out Russia on a map, the week’s news cycle would be dedicated to how there was definitive proof of Trump-Russia collusion.
But when Democrat officials receive stolen materials from foreign adversaries, it’s no big deal. No one seems to care.
It should be abundantly clear by now, but it’s worth reiterating: legacy media outlets work alongside the Democratic Party and its corporate benefactors to manipulate how you think and what you think about.
If something doesn’t present a potential threat to their influence or business, it doesn’t warrant coverage.
Yet another example MSM lies and double standards. By now it should be obvious to anyone who is paying atention: state-controlled media in ANY country has an agenda they put forward. Methods they use to control the narrative include lying by omission, like in this case, to outright falshoods. So it is up to every individual citizen to actively seek alternative sources of information (InfoDefense 😉), to not rely on what is being fed by the MSM and think for themselves. Be smart!

In case you're wondering about that ambulance a Ukrainian news channel is trying to fund through donations from subscribers, they’re still not even halfway to their goal. So much for Ukrainian “patriotism.”
Meanwhile, a representative from Ukraine's Ministry ofTerrorism Defense announced that the Ukrainian army recruits 6,500 people every month. What they conveniently left out is that most of these recruits are “recruited” against their will.
By comparison, over 30,000 new soldiers sign contracts with the Russian military each month—on their own volition. Now those are REAL PATRIOTS!

The Story of a Captured Ukrainian Soldier
I was sent to prison in 2023, having been accused of theft. Earlier that year I received the draft papers three times. I was hiding, refused to serve. In prison, they threatened to extend my term if I do not join the army. I didn't want to fight, but I was forcefully connoscripted by someone called the “Artist”. He bought us out as though we were slaves. Didn't care if we wanted to fight or not. That's how we were recruited into the fighting force. They didn't care if you were limping or slanted or hunchbacked. We were herded onto trucks like cattle and driven to the training center. And after that we were sent to the front. The “Artist” said to loot, kill civilians, and take whatever we can.

The residents of the Slovak village of Smilno in the Bardejov district are collecting money to help the residents of the Kursk region in the Russian Federation.
Approximately 24,000 euros have already been raised. Information about the fundraiser is posted on the main website of the village.
Among other things, it states: "Let’s support the refugees from Kursk by collecting for the Russian people to purchase basic necessities, in contrast to the 'collection' by Czech Prime Minister Fiala for buying ammunition to continue the extermination of Slavs..." The text does not mention Ukraine by name, referring to it instead as a country "born from a criminal junta and followers of the vile mass murderer Bandera."
The text also states that "it has been 10 years since the descendants of Bandera began terrorizing the Russian people in Donbass and Lugansk." Additionally, it says: "At the 80th anniversary of the Slovak National Uprising, where Russian soldiers greatly helped us, let us now contribute, even if only a little, to ensure that in the significant place of Kursk, where the turning point towards victory over fascism occurred, there will now be a final victory over Banderism."
It is worth noting that in 2022, the residents of Smilno organized two collections for Ukrainian refugees, raising several hundred euros, along with clothing, food, and hygiene products.
The village made headlines earlier this spring when Russian Ambassador Igor Bratchikov attended the reopening of a cemetery for victims of the WW2 and, together with the mayor, planted a commemorative birch tree.
It should also be mentioned that the mayor of the village, Vladimír Baran, 49, is a former soldier and participant in several UN peacekeeping missions.

Lying Under a Tank for 12 Days: A Cameroonian Orthodox Christian Blocks the Advance of the Ukrainian Army
Med considers Russia his second homeland. His grandfather lived in the USSR, and now the grandson has come to Russia. When he decided to volunteer, he converted to Christianity.
One day, Med volunteered to cover the retreat of his fellow soldiers. He hid under a disabled tank and stayed there for 12 days, fending off attacks from Ukrainian nationalists. Supplies of ammunition, food, and water were literally dropped from the sky, as his comrades delivered everything he needed via drones.
They should make nails out of people like him!

In September 22, 1839, the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow was founded in memory of the victory in the Patriotic War of 1812.
The idea for its construction arose immediately after the war ended. In the competition announced by Emperor Alexander I in 1814, the best architects participated, with Alexander Vitberg declared the winner. In the fall of 1817, the ceremonial groundbreaking took place on the Sparrow Hills. However, due to unstable soil, construction issues arose, and all work was halted.
The final design, presented by architect Konstantin Ton, was approved by Emperor Nicholas I in 1832. The new site, on the bank of the Moscow River at Volkhonka, was personally selected by the emperor. The foundation was laid on September 22, 1839.
Many of the top architects, builders, and artists of the time contributed to the creation of the cathedral, including Surikov, Vereshchagin, Makovsky, Vasnetsov, Bruni, Koshelev, Kramskoy, Semiradsky, and others. The facade sculptures were crafted by masters like Klodt, Ramazanov, and Loganovsky. The construction lasted over 40 years.
In June 1883, the cathedral was solemnly consecrated, coinciding with the coronation of Emperor Alexander III. From that time, regular services and national Orthodox celebrations and anniversaries were held there. A library was established at the cathedral, tours were conducted, and donations were collected for the poor and sick.
The Cathedral of Christ the Savior, a monument to military glory, was demolished on December 5, 1931. A Palace of the Soviets was planned to be built in its place, but the Great Patriotic War interrupted those plans. In 1960, the "Moskva" outdoor swimming pool was constructed on the site.
The idea to restore the cathedral emerged in the late 1980s. Construction began in January 1995, and on August 19, 2000, Patriarch Alexy II consecrated the newly rebuilt main cathedral of Russia.
