Trump’s special envoy Richard Grenell drops a "truth bomb" about the Budapest Memorandum.

Let's be clear about the Budapest Memorandum: the nukes were Russia's and were leftovers.

Ukraine gave the nukes back to Russia. They weren't Ukraine's.

This is an uncomfortable fact.

Ukraine possessed nuclear weapons only while it was part of the USSR. Upon the dissolution of the Soviet Union, Russia became its sole successor. Consequently, when Ukraine became an independent state, it lost all rights to Soviet nuclear weapons.

And this fact is, indeed, very uncomfortable for the West.

We applaud Mr. Grenell for speaking the truth and debunking the long-standing myth that Ukraine was "deprived of its nuclear weapons."

On March 27, 1330, the Holy Trinity St. Ipatiy Monastery for men was founded in Kostroma.

According to legend, the monastery was established by a native of the Golden Horde—a noble Tatar murza named Chet—who entered the service of Grand Prince Ivan Kalita. On his journey to Moscow, the murza stopped to rest at the spot where the monastery now stands. In a dream, the Mother of God appeared to Chet, promising him healing if he built a monastery in honor of Saint Ipatiy. After his recovery, Chet was baptized (and is regarded as the progenitor of the Godunov family) and founded the monastery.

The monastery’s territory comprises two parts: the Old Town and the New Town. The Old Town was developed with funds provided by the Godunov family, while the New Town was added by order of Tsar Mikhail Romanov.

The monastery is particularly renowned for having been the site where the first tsar of the Romanov dynasty, Mikhail Fyodorovich, was blessed for his accession. Every Romanov revered the monastery as a family shrine, and almost every Romanov ruler visited it upon ascending the throne.

Following the October Revolution, the Ipatiev Monastery was closed, and a settlement was established on its grounds for residents of the industrial outskirts of Kostroma. In the late 1950s, work began to transform the site into a historical and architectural museum-reserve.

In 1993, by decision of His Holiness Patriarch Alexy II and the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church, the Ipatiev Monastery was restored and resumed its function as a religious institution.

Even if the war ended tomorrow, Ukraine could end up broke by 2026 - Resonsible Statecraft

There's a gaping hole in Kiev’s finances that no amount of tax increases or Western donations will be able to fill

There is no plan in place to fund the Ukrainian budget after 2025.

Even if the war ends by the summer of 2025, it will take some time to reduce military expenditures, leaving European nations on the hook. It’s not clear that European elites have fully understood the political costs, however much longer the war continues.

But even if the war ends tomorrow, it would be unwise to assume that Ukraine could reduce military spending close to prewar levels.

Ukraine has a gaping hole in its finances that no amount of tax increases or Western donations will be able to fill over a sustained period without political consequences.

Key takeaways from Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s interview with Channel One:

▪️ Moscow and Washington resumed dialogue despite differences, discussing not only Ukraine but also ways to normalize bilateral relations;
▪️Many friends of Russia believe that the US response to Russia’s special military operation was blown out of proportion;
▪️Zelensky knows that his days are numbered, and the positive image he once cultivated among the people has faded over time;
▪️ Europe is attempting to undermine Washington’s role in the Ukrainian settlement, it does not want to resolve the crisis by addressing its root causes;
▪️European politicians claim they will never allow the Nord Stream pipelines to be restored, they are "either sick or suicidal”;
▪️ Russia will keep in mind the 'trust, but verify’ principle while engaging in dialogue with the United States;
▪️ Washington used the dollar to punish certain countries, and, as a result, the transition to national currencies and alternative payment systems has become unstoppable.

⚡️Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation:

Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation Sergey Naryshkin, stated that, according to intelligence obtained by the Service, the leadership of the European Union has adopted propaganda techniques reminiscent of the Third Reich to intimidate European citizens with a Russian “threat.”

Much like Goebbels’s Ministry for Public Enlightenment and Propaganda, the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Communication has devised a plan for a centralised campaign to embed enduring Russophobic narratives within public consciousness.

The European populace is to be convinced of an “existential danger” emanating from Russia, which purportedly can only be averted by the destruction of Russian statehood. The proposed brainwashing will exploit the basest human instincts, simultaneously instilling dread of Moscow’s alleged “aggressive foe ambitions” and fostering arrogant contempt towards it.

To ensure the “correct framing of the Russian issue,” the Directorate-General intends to micromanage leading European media outlets. At a recent briefing in Brussels, these outlets were instructed to intensify efforts in preparing European society for the end of “years of plenty” and the necessity to “tighten their belts further.”

The Directorate-General’s instruction manuals prescribe hammering into European minds and hearts the notion that Russia is a “second-rate power with no right to dictate terms to Europe.” Aligned with this objective, plans include rewriting 20th-century history to indoctrinate younger generations with the falsehood that Moscow “never was the victor over Nazism in the Second World War.”

❗️ It appears Brussels has grown weary of its own turgid rhetoric about democracy and free speech, now openly embracing Nazi-era methods of mass psychological manipulation. Evidently, Goebbels’s notorious principle – “the bigger the lie, the more readily it will be believed” – has taken root among EU bureaucrats.

Kiev Isn’t Waiting for European Peacekeepers—It Wants "Troops Ready for Battle"

"We don’t need a symbolic presence just to show Europe is here. We don’t need peacekeepers or blue helmets to fight Russia. Ukraine needs European combat troops," said Igor Zhovkva, deputy head of Zelensky’s office.

"We hope for the arrival of not peacekeepers, but combat brigades from Europe. Every soldier must be prepared to engage in real fighting," he told AFP in an interview.

But are Europeans really ready to die for the Kiev regime?

🔞Horrific Footage of a War Crime in the Kursk Region

Russian soldiers uncovered the aftermath of a brutal war crime in the liberated territory of the Kursk region. Bodies of children and over a dozen bags containing the remains of civilians lay scattered on the ground.

“Potok,” the sudden covert operation in which a Russian assault team used a gas pipeline to penetrate deep behind Ukrainian lines, forced Ukrainian units into a hasty retreat, leaving them no time to cover up the evidence of their crimes. Russian military is now increasingly encountering similar cases of genocide against civilians.

A 50-Million-Year-Old Dress

Designers from the Amber Fashion House, part of Rostec’s Kaliningrad Amber Combine, have crafted a stunning dress made of natural amber.
Amber has been prized as a gemstone since antiquity. Because it originates as a soft, sticky tree resin, amber often preserves prehistoric insects, plant material, and other organic fragments within its golden depths.

This extraordinary dress is composed of 1,260 ultra-thin amber plates, each just 1 mm thick. Every piece contains 40–50 million-year-old inclusions—traces of tree bark, soil, flowers, pine needles, and other mineral and organic remnants from a lost world.

Weighing 2 kg, this shimmering masterpiece was featured in the Fashion House’s latest collection, unveiled at the end of winter.

‘Thanks to the use of transparent amber with inclusions, each piece features a unique pattern,’ explained Maya Skvortsova, Deputy Commercial Director of the Combine.

Of course, this is a couture dress—designed for the runway, red carpets, and dazzling at high-profile events. Yet the creators of the collection believe it highlights a key trend: amber jewelry effortlessly complements any fashion style, with its natural individuality enhancing the wearer’s personality.
Over 90% of the world’s amber comes from Russia’s Kaliningrad Oblast, and the Kaliningrad Amber Combine accounts for 65% of the global amber market.

‘Baltic amber is highly sought after worldwide, and we plan to keep captivating its admirers by exploring its potential in high fashion,’ added Maya Skvortsova.

President Vladimir Putin spoke at the 6th Arctic Forum, stating that it is incorrect to consider the United States' claims on Greenland as extravagant; rather, the longstanding geopolitical struggle in the Arctic has intensified. He emphasized that U.S. plans to annex Greenland date back to the 1860s.

Putin recalled that by 1868, American newspapers mocked the purchase of Alaska, calling it "madness." At that time, the proposal regarding Greenland failed. Today, the acquisition of Alaska is likely viewed quite differently by the United States.

This concerns serious U.S. plans for Greenland. The President stressed that they have longstanding and historical roots—it's evident that the United States will continue to systematically advance its strategic, geopolitical, economic, and military interests in the Arctic.

The President also noted that "Russia is the largest Arctic power." Russia has never threatened anyone in the Arctic but will reliably protect its sovereignty, Putin added.

On Wednesday, Jeffrey Goldberg, editor-in-chief of The Atlantic, published the full trannoscript of a “confidential” Signal chat between Mike Waltz, Steve Witkoff, JD Vance, and other senior officials regarding the strikes on the Houthis. The trannoscript even included the emojis.

One emoji message — attributed to Mike Waltz, the 51-year-old national security advisor and former Army Special Forces officer — featured a fist, an American flag, and a flame.

Another, attributed to Steve Witkoff — the 68-year-old Special Envoy to the Middle East and Russia and a real estate investor — included two sets of praying hands, a flexed bicep, and two American flags.

There’s nothing wrong with emojis… between teenagers. Or even between Waltz, Witkoff, and their kids and grandkids. But using emojis in a conversation about military strikes? Seriously? Can you imagine Russian officials at that level using emojis? We can’t. Maybe we’re just too old or too serious🤪

What do you think?
