Today, our international relations specialists from the CIS states took part in the presentation of the Valdai Club’s report noscriptd ”The Global Majority and Its Interests.” This event focused on the shifting dynamics of global influence and the growing importance of countries beyond the traditional Western power centers.

The Valdai Discussion Club is a prestigious forum that brings together global experts, policymakers, and thought leaders to discuss pressing international issues. Since its founding in 2004, it has been recognized for promoting dialogue and fostering deeper understanding of key global trends, particularly in the time of multipolarity.

Our fellows gained a deeper understanding of how Asian, African, Latin American, and other regional states collectively known as the global majority are playing an increasingly influential role in international relations. The participants discussed the challenges these countries face, and also highlighted their growing strategic importance on the global stage and considered the new opportunities for cooperation.
