👍 The standard duty of 10% will continue to apply to smartphones, laptops, hard disks, processors and memory chips supplied to the US from any country.

🪙 Recall, under the new tariffs, the highest duty is expected for goods from China – up to 125%. Now there will be an exception for electronics.

🏭 Also, the tariff relaxation affects equipment for the production of semiconductors. This will benefit one of the key processor manufacturers - TSMC, which announced major investments in the United States.

🧐 Bloomberg analysts believe that the easing may be temporary – until the implementation of separate tariffs on electronics – but in any case significantly lower than 125%.
