Competing against 341 top teams across St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Almaty, and Tbilisi, students Andrei Matveev, Ildar Gainullin, and Kirill Konovalov from team Spb ITMO: HFTilted solved 9 out of 13 problems to secure the win at the ICPC Northern Eurasia Finals 2025.
The team was coached by Mikhail Perveev, an ITMO alumnus and ICPC Northern Eurasia Finals gold medalist (2023) — keeping ITMO traditions alive, one win at a time!

Steganography completely blew my mind. The idea that you can hide a secret text file inside an ordinary image, like a photo of a cat or a landscape, without changing how it looks to the naked eye is fascinating. It really taught me that in the digital world, nothing is ever exactly what it seems.
