What is the best email service to use?

Friends, as you've quickly learned, one of the best things about the FOSS and Linux ecosystem is that it works great on used, refurbished, or old computers you might be able to find even in your own garage. That's because it's simply built better than Windows, and it is much more efficient. Our Technology chat room is full of stories where people are reviving old laptops with Linux or finding them at a thift store for a few hundred dollars, installing Linux and watching it work like a charm.

You're hearing about computer chip shortages on the news and prices are already rising. If something happens with China and Taiwan, chip prices will skyrocket. Now is the time to find yourself a good, affordable computer (or two), and learn to use Linux. There's many reasons beyond the scope of these short posts I'm telling you this, friends. Now is the time to learn Linux and secure your technology!

Anyone suggest a distro of Linux for MacBook Pro 2011 (revival) and someone wanting to learn sys admin skills?

Mint cinnamon is working well on my early macbook air. I have trouble coming back out of sleep however. The keyboard backlights work which was important for me. Seems pretty solid.

Anyone suggest Linux distro for a “Mac Pro 1,1” (2006-2007 model)? It currently runs Mac OS X Lion and can’t be upgraded beyond that.

Been on fb lockdown for weeks now. This is not the first time.
Many of my friends have experienced month long lockdowns there, because fb police... aka fact checkers said their material was false. When indeed they and myself were posting facts directly from those sources!

I got banned from Twitter for saying there are only 2 genders 😂

Right after our President was banned from Twitter so was I. No reason given and I can not make a new account.

I had a warning that my post was not correct. I posted a picture of the American flag with the pledge of allegiance.
