In Linux, you don't need to know how to use the command line instructions. Your daily activities can all be done on the desktop of your computer, with point-and-click mouse actions, same as in Windows or MacOS.

Yet when you do start to learn basic command line instructions, you will start to take full control of the operating environment on your computer. You've never experienced so much control over your system ... no process, virus, malware, or hacker will be able to hide from you.

The Linux command line is incredibly powerful, always has been.

Important to reflect on this.

We the people don't have their "venture capital" connections, captured media, or weaponized three letter agencies on our side. Nor would we use any of that the way they do, even if we could.

We do have a voice in numbers. There's many of us, enough to make a difference when we want to.

For all my friends interested in science (real science), and nature. Join with me in supporting the statements of Greenpeace co-founder, Dr. Patrick Moore, who says the following: "Every molecule of CO2 we emit, came from the environment in the first place... We are just putting it back where it came from. And when it was there, life flourished."

There is no "climate emergency." God's earth is wonderfully made. It is a beautiful living, breathing planet that has maintained its equilibrium for billions of years through many seasons of change. The self healing design of our planet is the true scientific wonder, made by the most sophisticated designer in the universe.

The real emergency is not the climate. It is the trend of corrupt governments manufacturing false narratives about "climate change" to justify horrible, previously unimaginable policies, where their real intent is to grab tyrannical power over the population.

It is all of our responsibility to do what we can to raise awareness about government corruption until the light of the truth holds them accountable. Let's get them out of office, out of the way so we can get back to enjoying our God-given freedoms on our beautiful planet.

People are really concerned about the new built-in A.I. in Windows, and rightfully so.

What our frens really need from computers, is simple practical stuff: Web browsing, email, watch the news, order products online

The great news is ... These are areas where the Linux Operating System is the strongest.

Linux, as you've learned, is based on Unix, the most secure "industrial strength" computer O.S. ever built in American history. Better engineered, and more secure at its core by "orders of magnitude", than Windows. And as you've also learned, Linux is "open source", meaning, we know what's it in, compared to Windows, which is closed off, the code is top-secret. (hmm, wonder why?)

Yes it takes a while to learn Linux but we've made it a long way. By helping each other out we can continue moving our computer needs in the right direction ... AWAY from "Farmer Bill" and Windoze!

** Soapbox Rant About "Gay Pride" month **

Today I guess is the start of "pride" month, something to do with being gay.

In case anyone cares to hear perspective from this computer guy about it, and maybe you don't, but if you do, I think it's really strange, and at this age, as a grown adult, I find an element of sadness to the whole "pride" concept, frankly, I think it's a bunch of b.s.

Why? Well, if you're a man dressing up as a woman, face reality, you're probably not in a good place in your life. In years past, I knew some gay people, particularly when I used to be involved with the Democrats as a donor, and in my experience they were not happy people. I never "hated" them, the "hate" theory the libs use is a myth, but honestly I always thought they were very strange people and found they usually had numerous problems they were dealing with in their lives.

At this age I can see it crystal clear: It's just not how we're built. God created man and woman to be together, for the purpose of having and raising families. If you are a homo chasing around people of your same gender, you're going to have a very complicated life full of issues, you will probably be very challenged to ever have your own happy family, vs. accepting reality and choosing to build a simple straightforward life surrounded by family that loves you. Why would you choose the former, when you could have the latter?

Recognizing that we live in a complicated world, and that everyone has a story, I don't mean to sound "holider-than-thou", to demean or put anyone down, just expressing an opinion. Maybe I'm wrong. If you think I'm wrong, that's fine. If you are a man who enjoys dressing up as a woman, walking around in heels or something, I guess that's your right. Personally I will always think it's very weird, face it, it just is. Our foreign adversaries are pushing this junk on our western culture to weaken us, because the family is the core of our strength as a nation. And they are laughing at us as so many weak minded people embrace these concepts.

If you are a person presently stuck in the "gay" mentality myth, because I do think it's a myth--instead of celebrating "pride" month, consider getting your act together, repenting (changing your ways) and accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. He died on the cross for all of our sins. Do some of your own research and try to disprove His history, you can't. It is impossible. He is 100% real.

You will notice there is a recent flood of people making videos talking about how they did exactly this, changed their ways and feel truly healed. With His forgiveness and the love of the Holy Spirit in your heart, you will feel a million or more times better on the inside, where it matters most. Helping, encouraging people to hear this message based in reality is not "hate", it is one of the most loving things any of us can do. **End of Soapbox Rant**
