I see these kinds of videos and comments on TikTok sometimes, ena it makes me wonder if this is actually a real problem in Ethiopia too.
Personally, as long as you have confidence and a strong “I don’t give a shit” kind of energy, you’ll be fine. I already have a lot going on in my life, and this just isn’t one of my problems.
I know it can be a challenging social situation, but honestly—who cares if people think I’m ugly or cute? Beauty privilege exists, sure, but I’m not about to sit around and cry over it. I’d rather be smart than beautiful and dumb.
And don’t get me wrong, I’m not cold-hearted. I understand how people feel. I just believe that with the right mentality, you can get through this stuff.

I had just started reading one of my books and came across something so true that I had to share it. It said that it’s not always about having the right strategy, but also about the right timing. Even the best strategy can do harm when applied at the wrong time. Success, more often than not, is the result of timing not just hard work and strategy.

Let me add one more thing, this is my personal belief. Anyone in pursuit of success should know where their grace lies. Grace is the blessing that aligns you with the right time, the right place, and the right opportunities. Without it, life becomes a constant search fueled only by hard work. When you allow grace to touch your life, you no longer have to worry so much about timing it finds you.
