Estamos felices de invitarles a una semana de talleres, espacios para compartir conocimientos y trabajo colectivo. Esta es una oportunidad especial para que las personas queer y trans* se reúnan, exploren los ecosistemas locales y se pongan manos a la obra en la creación de espacios hermosos y sostenibles para la vida silvestre.

La Bassa Mar collective is looking for a new member: trans*, inter or non-binary.
Transfems, BIPoC or migrants to the front!
We are looking for a person who wants to live with us and take care of this gathering and retreat community space, located in the countryside of Catalunya, two hours south of Barcelona on the coast.

At the moment we are looking for one more person to live permanently with us, who likes dogs, who likes to live collectively, that can imagine living in the countryside and at the same time enjoys being part of or interacting with large groups, and that ideally can drive/has a driving licence. Unfortunately, we cannot be many people on the site, that’s why we only look for one person, starting from May 2025 on (we are flexible with the dates). What we can offer are the same conditions the four people that are on site at the moment have, which means living in a caravan and having the basic food covered. Our work on the space is without monetary compensation, which is why we all need to leave the space from time to time, to work for money outside of La Bassa.
For this same reason, we are also looking for people who can join us temporarily when needed, for 1 or 2 months, with the same arrangement and conditions.

Buscamos una persona que quiera vivir con nosotres y hacerse cargo de este espacio comunitario de encuentro y retiro, situado en el campo de Catalunya, a dos horas al sur de Barcelona, en la costa.

En estos momentos estamos buscando una persona más para vivir más permanentemente aquí, a la que le gusten los perros, que le guste la vida colectiva, que se imagine viviendo en el campo y al mismo tiempo disfrute formando parte o interactuando con grupos grandes y que idealmente pueda conducir/tenga carnet de conducir. Desgraciadamente, no podemos ser muchas personas en el sitio, por eso solo buscamos una persona, a partir de mayo 2025 (somos flexibles con las fechas). Lo que podemos ofrecer son las mismas condiciones que tienen las cuatro personas que están en el sitio en este momento, es decir, vivir en una caravana y tener la alimentación básica cubierta. Nuestro trabajo en el espacio es sin compensación monetaria, por lo que todes necesitamos salir del espacio de vez en cuando, para trabajar por dinero fuera de La Bassa.
Por este mismo motivo, también buscamos gente que pueda sumarse temporalmente al grupo, por uno o dos meses, cuando sea necesario, en las mismas condiciones.

Nous recherchons actuellement une personne pour vivre en permanence avec nous, supplémentaire qui aime les chiens, qui aime vivre en collectivité, qui peut imaginer vivre à la campagne et qui, en même temps, aime faire partie de grands groupes ou interagir avec eux, et qui, idéalement, peut conduire ou possède un permis de conduire. Malheureusement, nous ne pouvons pas être nombreux.se.s sur le site, c'est pourquoi nous ne recherchons qu'une seule personne, à partir de mai 2025 (nous sommes flexibles sur les dates). Ce que nous pouvons offrir, ce sont les mêmes conditions que les quatre personnes qui sont sur le site en ce moment, c'est-à-dire vivre dans une caravane et avoir la nourriture de base. a gathering to rest, support and exchange at la Bassa Mar
from 1st to 6st July 2025
We are happy to invite you to a trans*, inter, and queer space for those of us who currently are or have been directly affected by cancer. To exchange, relax, empower and learn from one another. To support each other in finding strategies to fight back not only the cancer but also the sexist, racist, ableist medical (and other) systems.
We will prioritize BIPoC and trans* people. Nobody will be left out for economical reasons, and we will try to accommodate any specific needs (dietary and otherwise) as much as we can.

Post conference Retreat at La Bassa Mar from 12th-15th July 2025
In order to build bridges between and across different queer and trans* feminist academic research and grassroot collectives, we would like to invite you to join us after the European Feminist Research Conference in Barcelona. We will host a post conference retreat from 12th-15th July 2025 at our collective space La Bassa Mar. In the midst of the rise of fascism in Europe we want to network and strengthen our connections but also recharge in a rural space, far from this hostile political climate.

We are very happy to invite you to this summer retreat: this is an invitation to create a space where there’s no need to choose between participating in the gay codes or the alternative queer scene. As transmascs we often face a lack of access to gay and faggot spaces, and when we do get access, we sometimes encounter specific difficulties to move in them. This is why we are sharing this open call for all transmaculine faggots, giving priority to BIPoC people, and seeking the participation of people of different ages.
