UzYLC'24

I participated in the "Uzbekistan Youth Leadership Conference" organized by American Councils, held at the Wyndham Hotel in Tashkent on June 7-8. It was a full 2-day experience of learning how to implement community projects, team-building activities, leadership, networking, and sharing knowledge.

A big thank you to our trainers - Tom Toomey and Nicholas Viggiano, my mentor - Dilnora Azimova, and the organizers Ziyoda Rakhimova and Aziza Nuriddinova, for their hard work and dedication during the conference.

I met many like-minded peers and was inspired by the dynamic atmosphere we created together.

O'zbekistonning Polshadagi Elchixonasi

Polshaga kelishimiz bilan bizni elchixona vakillari kutib olishdi va shu yerda mehmon qilishdi.

Biz ular bilan yaqindan tanishdik, hozirgi kunda qanday o'zgarishlar va yoshlarga imkoniyatlar yaratishayotganligi borasida so'zlab berishdi.

Perspektywy Women in Tech tadbiri uchun tashrif buyurganligimiz sababidan biz ham O'zbekistonda shunday katta masshtabli IT tadbirlarni o'tkazishimizni, butun dunyodan katta kompaniyalar va xalqaro investor va mutaxassislarni qanday jalb qilish borasida "paxta gulli piyolada choy ustida" suhbatlashdik.

Day 1 in Poland, June 10

We visited Pałac Młodzieży w Warszawie. It stands at 237 meters, making it the second-highest building in Poland, and we could see the entire city from the 30th floor.

The palace was "a gift from the Soviet nation to the Polish nation." It was built between 1952 and 1955 according to the design of the Soviet architect Lev Rudnev, who was inspired by Moscow's skyscrapers (known outside Russia as the Seven Sisters), modeled on American Art Deco skyscrapers. Architecturally, it is a mixture of socialist realism and historicism.
