tashqi yutuqlar, ichki bo'shliq

Shaxsiy rivojlanish haqida so‘z borganda ko‘pchilik bu tushunchani yangi ko‘nikmalar o‘rganish, kurslarga qatnashish yoki ko‘proq pul topish bilan bog‘laydi. Aslida esa rivojlanishning tubida boshqa narsa yotadi. Bu ichki holat. Harakatning sifati, yo‘nalishi va sababi.

Bugun deyarli hamma band. Doimiy rejalash, ishlab chiqarish, natija ko‘rsatish, o‘zini ko‘rsatish. Lekin aynan mana shu bandlik orqasida ichki tinchlikni yo‘qotayotganimizni sezmay qolamiz. Shaxsiy rivojlanish boshlanishi kerak bo‘lgan joy aynan mana shu ichki jimjitlik.

Tashqi yutuqlarga erishgan odamlarning ko‘pchiligi bir vaqtda bo‘shlikni his qilgan. Chunki asos yo‘q.

Rivojlanish uchun harakat qilish kerak. Lekin harakatga nima turtki bo‘layapti? Havotirmi, raqobatmi, boshqalarga yoqish istagimi? Yoki rostdan ham o‘zini yaxshilashga bo‘lgan ehtiyojmi? O‘zimizga halol qaray olmasak, har qanday yutuq ichida yo‘qolib ketamiz.

Ko‘pchilik o‘zgarish haqida gapirganda ko‘proq o‘rganishni nazarda tutadi. Ammo o‘zgarish bu faqat ma’lumot yig‘ish emas. Bu mavjud ma’lumotlar asosida o‘zini tan olish. Xatolarini ko‘rish. O‘zini kechira olish. Ego bilan ishlay olish. Rivojlanish aslida shunday og‘ir jarayon.

Qiynalmayotgan bo‘lsangiz, siz o‘sayotgan bo‘lmaysiz. Chunki har qanday haqiqiy o‘zgarish ichki qarama-qarshiliklar bilan keladi. Tan olish bilan boshlanadi. Yutishdan emas, o‘rganishdan iborat bo‘ladi.

Bugun shaxsiy rivojlanish haqida o‘ylayotgan har bir inson avval shuni tushunib olishi kerak. O‘zgarish baland ovoz bilan e’lon qilinmaydi. U sekin boshlanadi. Tovushsiz. Vijdon bilan. O‘zini eshitish bilan. Shovqindan emas, sokinlikdan. Va bu yo‘l o‘zini yengishga jur’at topganlargagina ochiladi.

Siz qachon oxirgi marta to‘xtab, ichingizdagi ovozni eshitishga harakat qildingiz? Balki rivojlanish aynan shundan boshlanar.

javoblar emas, savollar yutadi

Oldin eng muhim narsa to‘g‘ri javob edi. Kim tezroq va to‘g‘riroq javob topsa, o‘sha yutardi. Hayotdagi eng muhim qarorlar -> qaysi kasb, kimga uylanish, qayerda yashash -> bularning barchasi “to‘g‘ri” javob izlash bilan boshlandi. Javob topganlar oldinga o‘tdi.

Endi bu o‘yin o‘zgaryapti. Javoblar pullik kurslarda, kitoblarda, sun’iy intellektda va hattoki oddiy izlovda bir soniyada qo‘lingizda. Bilim endi noyob emas. Bilimga yetkazadigan savollar noyob. Farqni endi savol belgilaydi.

Asl o‘sish savoldan boshlanadi. Ko‘p savol beradiganlar, aksariyat mutaxassislarni *replace qilmoqda. Ular ko‘proq o‘rganadi, ko‘proq tajriba to‘playdi, va eng muhimi -> o‘zi uchun o‘ylashni o‘rganadi.

Yodingizda tuting: bilim topiladi. Lekin savol tuziladi.

Va eng muhim o‘zgarish shu yerda:
Endi javoblar sizni ajratib turmaydi. Sizni ajratadigan - savolingizdir.

Siz hozirda qanday savollar ustida o‘ylayapsiz?

Man & Machine

Yesterday I watched the documentary AlphaGo and it is so interesting to see how a man creates a machine and will be defeated by that strong toy.

*Go is a two-player abstract strategy ancient Chinese board game where players aim to control more territory on the board than their opponent.
*AlphaGo is a computer program developed by DeepMind, a subsidiary of Google, that excels at the board game Go. It is a significant milestone in artificial intelligence, as it was the first program to defeat a professional human Go player.

AlphaGo's first prey was European human champion Fan Hui. After that, it became so viral that it was considered a part of the culture like breathing; most children learned how to play Go and excelled in it.

Then Lee Sedol appeared — a South Korean professional Go player — and the DeepMind team visited there to hold a challenge with him. There were 5 intense rounds between Lee and AlphaGo.

One expert called Lee “very young and rural enough to think that pizza grew on trees.”

The game started, Lee felt like he was facing something nonhuman, with no emotion, cold as well, but he stayed very calm. Most people felt his mental strength. But he was defeated 3 times consecutively; the 4th round was his only success.

AlphaGo is actually built on 3 core pillars (with reinforcement learning): policy networks (which help decide the most promising moves), value networks (which evaluate the likely outcome of a position), and tree search (which explores possible sequences of moves to choose the best path).

NB: this documentary was recommended by my mentor Polina from Google Dubai.
I had the pleasure of meeting her in Tashkent during her visit for the GSMA M360 conference.

qisqa yoki uzun yo'l?

Bugun yo’llar haqida yozmoqchiman. Hayotdagi yo’llar. Ular uzun bo’lishi mumkin, qisqa bo’lishi mumkin, hatto "kesib o’tiladigan" bo’lishi ham mumkin.

Psixologik testlarda bir savol: “Uyingga borish uchun ikkita yo’l bor. Biri g’adir-budur, loyqa, lekin qisqa. Ikkinchisi tekis, asfaltlangan, ammo ancha uzoq. Qaysi birini tanlaysan?” Bu savol oddiy emas. U qanday insonligimizni ko’rsatadi.

Qisqa yo’lni tanlaydiganlar natijani tanlaydi. Tezroq erishish. Har qanday holatda ham yutish. Uzun yo’lni tanlaydiganlar esa jarayonni tanlaydi. Niyat, mehnat, halollik muhim bo’lganlar.

Hayot ham bizdan shu savolni doim so’raydi. 10 000 dollar topish muhimroqmi yoki uni qanday topish? Hurmat muhimmi yoki nima qilib hurmat topganing?

Ba’zilari bor, ular ikkalasini birga olmoqchi. Ularga tezlik muhim. Maqsad uchun har narsadan voz kechishga tayyorlar. Bular "optimizatorlar".

Optimizatorlar kuchli ko’rinadi. Ular daromad va statusga qarab harakat qiladi. Lekin bu yo’l – bir tomonlama. Uzoq davom etmaydi. Pul topiladi, lekin tinchlik topilmaydi.

Bugungi kunda ko’pchilik mashhur bo’lish uchun yashamagan hayotini ko’rsatmoqda. "Fake it till you make it" degan prinsip ostida yashaydilar. Lekin bu yo’l odamni charchatadi. Tabiiy bo’lmagan narsaning umrida tabiiy baraka bo’lmaydi.

Uzun yo’lni tanlaganlar bunday qilmaydi. Ular natijadan ko’ra kim bo’layotganiga e’tibor beradi. “Qanday qilib yaxshi qizga uylansam?” emas, “Yaxshi qiz kimga tegadi?” deb so’raydi. U shaxsiyatni quradi. Mehnatkash bo’ladi. Axloqli bo’ladi. Halol bo’ladi.

Haqiqiy o’sish – ichki o’zgarish bilan boshlanadi. Pul ketadi. Muvaffaqiyat kechikadi. Lekin sizdan olib qo’yib bo’lmaydigan narsa – bu kim bo’lganingiz.

Qisqa yo’l oson tuyuladi. Tezlikka optimizatsiya qilingan sport mashinasidek. Lekin u mashina faqat bitta odamga mo’ljallangan. Hayot esa ko’p tomonlama. Sizga do’stlik ham kerak. Oila ham, sog’liq ham, ma’naviyat ham.

Odamlar ba’zida "qanday qilib boy bo’lish mumkin" deb so’raydi. To’g’ri savol esa bu emas. To’g’ri savol: "Qanday odamlar boy bo’ladi?". Chunki ichki sifatlar – vaqt o’tishi bilan tashqi natijani beradi.

Yaxshi narsa – tez emas, to’g’ri yo’l bilan keladi. Erishish o’rniga bo’lishga harakat qilganlar barakali yuradi. Va ular yurib borgan yo’lidan afsuslanmaydi.

Sizdan faqat bitta narsa so’raladi. Qanday yo’lni tanlaysiz? Qisqa va charchatadiganmi? Yoki uzun va kuchli odamga aylantiradigannimi?

Chunki to‘g‘ri yo‘l har doim oson emas, lekin har doim arziydi.

o‘rganamiz, lekin amal qilmaymiz?

“Bilish oson, amal qilish qiyin” deyishadi.
Lekin nega? Axir bilganimiz foydaliku.
Nega bilar-bilmas kursga yozilamiz, lekin oxirigacha bormaymiz?
Kitobni o‘qiymiz, lekin hayotimiz o‘zgarmaydi?

Javob: majburiyat yo‘q.

Odam amal qiladi — faqat zarurat bo‘lsa.
Majbur bo‘lmasa, harakat qilmaydi.

•Dori ichmaymiz — og‘rimasa.
•Ishlamaymiz — ehtiyoj bo‘lmasa.
•O‘qimaymiz — natija darrov ko‘rinmasa.

Hayotda eng katta kuch — majbur qiladigan sabab.
Bu sabab har kimda har xil:

•Kimnidir ehtiyoj majbur qiladi.
•Kimnidir status.
•Kimnidir ishq.
•Kimnidir ustoz.
•Buyuklarni esa — vazifa/majburiyat.

Eslab qoling:

> Nimani muhim deb bilsak, o‘sha narsa bizni majbur qiladi.

Shuning uchun:
•Maqsadingiz bor, lekin harakat yo‘qmi?
•Bilasiz, lekin qilmayapsizmi?

Demak, sizni majbur qiladigan narsa hali topilmagan.
Toping. Va uni yo‘qotmang.
Shunda o‘qiganingiz amal bo‘ladi, o‘rganganingiz o‘zgarishga aylanadi.

AI haqida chuqurroq

Yaqinda 2 soatgina vaqtimni Tim Urbanning AI haqidagi uzun postini o'qib tushunishimga sarfladim:) Shu maqoladan olgan ba'zi xulosalarimni bu yerga yozib ketishga qaror qildim.

Inson miyyasi haqiqatda hayron qolsa arziydigan san'at asari. Bizning miyyamizga taqlid qila oladigan kompyuter yaratish chindan juda qiyin, kosmosga chiqish, osmono'par binolar qurish hammasi juda osonligi bilan taqqoslaganda.

As of now, the human brain is the most complex object in the known universe.

Biz hozir ANI (Artificial Narrow Intelligence) erasidan AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) erasiga o'tish davridamiz va tabiiyki, inson miyyasi qobiliyatiga teng bo'ladigan kompyuter yaratish uchun uchun ham kuchli computer hardware/power kerak.

Moore’s Law is a historically-reliable rule that the world’s maximum computing power doubles approximately every two years, meaning computer hardware advancement, like general human advancement through history, grows exponentially.

Bir go'ya bor: shunday komputer yaratish kerakki, unda 2 ta asosiy ko'nikma bo'lsin: AI orqali research qila olsin va research xulosalaridan o'z arxitekturasini yaxshilab boradigan kod yoza olsin.

We’d teach computers to be computer scientists so they could bootstrap their own development. And that would be their main job—figuring out how to make themselves smarter.

Va so'nggi era ASI (Artificial Super Intelligence) va biz unga keyingi 10 yillikda yetib kelamiz...

Me looking towards the bright future🌠

This week I got my admission results for the master's degree fully, which since a year I have been waiting the fruits of my hard work. Exactly a year ago, I started my prep for this journey. Along the way, I saw failures and successes, and I accept this as a default.
Now I have to choose between 2 programmes: AI in Sustainable Societies or Business Informatics. The latter is more interesting to me, but the first is also quite prestigious. So the choice is tough.
So which one do you recommend?

Oldies but Goldies

Yesterday, we gathered at Bon with the Behbudiy Community - it was such a warm round of ML friends. Khurshid aka suggested we watch the Hamming's lecture, and today I did just that. I want to share my summary here:

You have only one life - do something outstanding and significant.

Luck favors the prepared mind.

Do important work, and work with important people. (If what you are doing isn't important, then what on earth are you doing?) Nurture yourself with math, clear articulation, and confidence. Focus on solving important, high-value problems or don’t bother at all.

There’s a difference between confidence = a strong-willed mind and overconfidence = stubbornness. Whatever I do, I’m going to do it well.

Study successes, not failures. By studying successful cases, you learn how to succeed: what they did, how they did it, and whether you can adapt it to your own personality. Form your own style of life. Also, develop a tolerance for ambiguity, and welcome change.

Be somebody worth being.

Apple research on AI Reasoning

Instead of using the same old math tests that AI companies love to brag about, Apple created fresh puzzle games.

They tested Claude Thinking, DeepSeek-R1, and o3-mini on problems these models had never seen before.

All "reasoning" models hit a complexity wall where they completely collapse to 0% accuracy.

No matter how much computing power you give them, they can't solve harder problems.

As problems got harder, these "thinking" models actually started thinking less.

They used fewer tokens and gave up faster, despite having unlimited budget.

The research revealed three regimes:

• Low complexity: Regular models actually win
• Medium complexity: "Thinking" models show some advantage
• High complexity: Everything breaks down completely

Most problems fall into that third category.

Apple discovered that these models are not reasoning at all, but instead doing sophisticated pattern matching that works great until patterns become too complex.

Then they fall apart like a house of cards.

This research suggests we're not as close to AGI as the hype suggests.

Current "reasoning" breakthroughs may be hitting fundamental walls that can't be solved by just adding more data or compute.

Honored to be recognized as one of the Top-100 awardees of the national project Ziyolilar.talaba!

On August 5, 2025, at the Youth Center in Tashkent, I joined an inspiring group of active, initiative-driven, and talented students from across Uzbekistan. We were awarded commemorative medals, special certificates, and - most importantly - were included in the National Talent Reserve “Ziyolilar”.

This project, organized by Ziyo Forum in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, aims to identify and support students who excel not only academically but also in leadership, sports, creativity, volunteerism, and community engagement.

Out of 4,000+ applications, only 100 students were selected this year - a testament to the incredible pool of talent in our country. I’m truly grateful for this recognition and inspired to continue contributing my knowledge, skills, and energy to the sustainable development of Uzbekistan.

Personal Brand ≠ Social Media Presence
A personal brand is not just about posts and likes. It is about YOU - how you show up at networking events, the trust you create, the values you stand for, and the unique perspective only you can bring.

We often get trapped in:
~Imposter syndrome
~Burnout
~Endless busyness
~Procrastination

But building a brand starts when you shift into:
▫️ “I exist and I have something to say”
▫️ Genuine curiosity
▫️ Balance & inner harmony
▫️ Clarity and fast decisions

💡 Personal Brand = Social Capital
It grows when you combine marketing, tech, and skills:
Marketing → client orientation, market separation, storytelling
Tech → building brand platforms, scaling content
Skills → idea-selling, creating products people really need

In today’s attention economy, your personal brand is your digital avatar. It is built on values, principles, and skills - not vanity metrics.

And yes, it can be a commercial project: double your income, grow XXXk targeted followers, launch your first info product, build an audience that listens. Because personal brand is not “for show”. It is about mission, voice, and impact.

FI: This spring I finished a comprehensive course by braim.org on Personal Branding. Going back through my notes, I realized how many insights are worth sharing.

Teknofest🇹🇷

February 2025, my coursemate Ibrohim and I submitted our project CoMed to the "AI in Healthcare" 👩‍💻 category at TEKNOFEST. Since then, we worked hard through all the tasks until August and were finally invited as finalists to Istanbul for a fully funded participation (16-22 September 2025).

Teknofest this year attracted over 🚀1.5 million visitors (at Ataturk Havalimani) - the biggest aerospace, tech, and innovation event in the world. I was happy to see Selçuk Bayraktar and even the President of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, at the festival.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦What inspired me most was seeing so many Turkish families coming with their kids, nurturing a love for homeland and technology from a very young age.

🎗All the alphabet-lettered pavilions were filled with company stands, countless competition categories, networking opportunities, aerospace and helicopter shows, concerts, and trainings.

In the evenings, when we were free from the event, I got to explore the city with the help of my friend from Behbudiy Academy, Shohruh. We visited Hagia Sophia, Sultanahmet Mosque, Galata Tower, Taksim Square, crossed the Bosphorus by boat, and tried everything from dondurma, simit, San Sebastian cake, döner, gözleme, köfte, to fahsa📍

Every moment, I enjoyed (my first time in Turkiye)😊 An unforgettable experience both in tech and in culture.
