Peter the Great's Handwriting and Artificial Intelligence

🔻Tsar Peter the Great left a very rich written legacy, but there is one problem: most of it has not yet been deciphered, since Peter wrote like a chicken scratched with its paw.

🔻Unexpectedly, modern science came to the rescue — the Digital Peter neural network, which easily and effortlessly deciphers the manunoscripts of the great Russian tsar.

🔻This neural network was developed by scientists from the St. Petersburg Institute of History of the Russian Academy of Sciences, who trained it on an array of data from already deciphered lines of Peter I's handwriting.

🔻Having studied these examples, Digital Peter learned to recognize the illegible imperial handwriting.

🔻So it is quite possible that in the near future our history textbooks will be filled with new interesting historical facts about the Peter the Great era.
