Desmond Hume is my constant
I’m a first time watcher. Earlier, because of the flair convos, I thought everyone was just a huge Desmond stan like myself… because obviously. But now I know the real reason.
Ok byeeee 👋🏼 now I have to leave the sub again so I don’t spoil anything for myself.

First-time watcher . Just finished S1E9 & S1E10 and I’m losing my mind.
I am so obsessed with this show. Like, I knew Lost had mysteries, but holy hell, things are getting crazy. Sayid's backstory was so heartbreaking and the thing with Nadia had me emotional.
He met the French woman though, holy shit. It felt surreal to see her when they were talking about her several episodes earlier. She’s out here living in a jungle hideout, casually torturing Sayid like it’s just another Tuesday. And everything she said… the whispers, the “sickness,” her whole team being gone?? I have so many questions and zero answers. I don’t know if she’s paranoid or if she’s the only one who actually knows what’s going on. Also seriously… Rousseau said “they’re coming”… That gave me chills, I'm very afraid to find out who she's referring to. Also, that music box moment hit me way harder than I expected. Just such a weird, sad little scene.
The next episode though..... freaked me out. Claire’s dreams?? Straight out of a horror movie. And that psychic — WHAT?! That entire plotline had me spiraling. The way he insisted she had to raise her baby, then suddenly changed his mind and gave her a plane ticket on this exact flight? No way that’s a coincidence. Something is seriously up. I'm assuming that man is a part of something sinister.
AND THEN THE END. I literally shouted when Hurley checked the manifest and Ethan’s name wasn’t on it. I KNEW he was shady. That last scene where he shows up in the jungle seeing Claire and Charlie actually scared me and now they've gone missing / kidnapped. Oh God please let those two characters survive, they've become my favorite.
Starting episode 11 soon.
So if I'm going to summarize this I'm just going to say i’m already so invested in these characters and every time I think I have a handle on what’s going on, it throws another curveball.

What did I just watch!
I just finished watching LOST.
I have watched maybe two seasons about 10-15 years ago, and for whatever reason I didn't continue.
I did it this time. Binge watched the whole six seasons in about 18 days.
Now that I finished watching it, I feel sad. And I feel lonely. The ending was very emotional, and I feel like a part of me is gone and I never felt this watching another series or movie.
I feel like something is missing now that it is finished. I don't know what.
A masterpiece of a series.

Little Boy Hugo
I just watched the episode with Hurley as a child and was blown away by the way the actor's expressions and mannerisms were so spot-on. Almost seemed like he actually was a little boy Hugo

What gives Lost an edge over every other show is the non linear story telling. We get such an in depth look into every character and end up caring deeply about even the randomest of people. I care very deeply about Scott and Steve and I can't differentiate them.

Libby
I’m sure this has been posted before, but I’m new here and just finished the show. I mean what was the point of Libby? What was the point of her posing as a “clinical psychologist?” Why was she on the plane from Sydney? Why did they make it out to seem like she had some secret motive or whatever. Why wasn’t she honest to Hugo about her knowing him? Did they just drop more of her storyline lol

First Time Watcher...Forever Fan
I just watched Lost for the very first time and finished them all about 2 weeks ago. I had to come to this forum now because I'm starting to miss all the characters. I couldn't come to this forum before I finished because I really didn't want to see any spoilers and ruin that fantastic "ride" of seeing that show.
I understand there were pretty mixed feelings for the ending. Not to brag, but my theory of how this was to wrap up came to me around Season 2. I think the ending fit my theory pretty closely and I wasn't surprised by how it ended up. I think this is probably the best series I've ever watched. WILL watch again.

Is hating Michael’s Character standard for watching this show?
I just finished season one and I am onto season two. Michael is by far the most idiotic and unreasonable character. His backstory is fine, even good in most parts, but the way he acts and interacts with the other survivors on the island and on the raft is ludicrous. It’s like he has no sense of logical reasoning.
Does anyone else feel this way? Does his character ever get any better?

My First TV Love
Been scrolling recently on Reddit for TV show recommendations and this sub popped up.
Haven’t watched Lost in it’s entirely for I’d guess about a decade.
But just seeing people still posting and discussing the show after all this time reminded me how much LOST means and meant to me.
It is THE reason I love TV shows. It was the first show that ever made me feel anything other than entertainment towards something on TV.
Remember feeling genuinely emotionally connected to all the characters, the mystery, the intrigue. I remember vividly watching season 1 and 2 for the first time and I was genuinely distraught for a few days after (won’t ruin for new viewers) when certain characters passed. As sad as it sounds, by season 3 the characters felt like family. I remember watching season 5 and 6 when they first aired and literally counting down the days for a new episode.
In hindsight has its flaws, and as time’s gone on for me I’ve definitely found shows that I feel are more complete, polished and ‘better’ as a whole.
But just wanted to post here to say that LOST is something that every TV show lover should watch and experience. I can honestly say that it changed the way I view TV. I’ll never, ever forget how this show affected me

Sayid’s arabic
Just wanted to ask if any other Arabic speakers find Sayid’s Arabic incredibly jarring? This is my second time watching after nearly a decade and I don’t remember it sounding so off lol
