Kate as a girl's girl
I'm rewatching Lost for the first time and man, I forgot how much of a girl's girl Kate is. She's the second person Sun >!speaks English with and one of the first people she opens up with!<. It's really cute how she gives Claire and Shannon reassurance and how all the female characters early on seem to trust her, which is refreshing to see before the writers lose the plot and >!use her mainly to propel a stagnant love triangle!<.

Just finished Lost for the first time... wow.
I binged the entire thing before it got taken off Netflix (and I don't have Hulu/Disney, where it will inevitably end up) and all I can say is wow. What a show!!! I can't believe it took me this long to finally watch it 😅
There were moments in late season 4/season 5 where I found it a little hard to stick with (mainly with all the back and forth time travel stuff/parallel lives) but I'm so glad I did.
I think by the end, my favorite characters ended up being Desmond, the Kwons, Locke (the real one), and oddly enough... Ben Linus. I think his character was so well written! What sold him for me was his reaction to Alex dying. I don't think he was "good" by any means, but he was beautifully complex.
I'm about to buy the box set so I can rewatch to my hearts content without a deadline 🫶🏻

I was watching Eddsworld (a webtoon) when I noticed a Lost Reference hidden in the background. A part of an Oceanic branded plane on the beach!

Eggtown
I’m finally on season 4 of my rewatch and the nostalgia just keeps intensifying with Eggtown. I forgot what an excellent episode that was. We get so many tidbits of info that we are confused about (>!only 8 survivors?! Kate the one who save them all?!!<) and then based on the conversations had on island and in the flash forward I remember thinking wow, >!she really went and had a whole kid with Sawyer!< only for that INSANE reveal in the last shot. Ugh! I wish I could watch again for the first time. So good.

Did you realise which side was good and which was evil from the get-go?
I am watching Lost for the first time, currently between Season 6 Episode 14 and 15, so basically at the end.
I was wondering if you were able to realise right away whether the protagonists such as Jack, Sawyer, Hugo,… were supposed to follow either Locke (the black smoke at this point) or Widmore. I am still not able to tell what I would like the characters to do at this moment of the show (please no spoiler of the last 4 episodes).
I am asking this because I found myself wondering the same thing when Ben was revealed to be the leather of the Others, or when the freighter part of the show was introduced.

What are the extras on the Getting Lost Blu-ray?
What are the extras on the Getting Lost Blu-ray?
Are there all the full interviews with the cast and creative team?
How long are the interviews?
In short, the more information I get, the happier I am.

Every. Single. Time.
This episode. There is just so much emotion packed into the last Act. Boone. Claire. Shannon and Sayid.
Jack and Sarah.
Wow. Just wow.
Greatest show ever.

How do you explain what Lost is about?
I was rewatching Lost and my 20yo daughter asked what it was about.
Me: There’s a plane crash and people have to survive on an island, but the island is kind of mystical, and each episode includes one character’s flashbacks that parallel the main storyline, and there’s some time travel...its kind of hard to explain.
Her: Does it just end up being someone’s fever dream?
Me: Uh, not really but kinda?

Do you think the lost ending is better regarded since streaming platforms and binge watching has became more popularized.
Having just finished the show I was amazed with how much I loved the ending. I had heard plenty of bad things from people who had watched the show when it aired and was told how bad the ending was. Even having some people compare it to the GOT ending in terms of writing. So I went into the last season with low expectations but was amazed by how much I loved the entire season. I only had minor complaints with Locke and sayids character writing and thought Claire was a bit unbearable. But as far as a complete ending I thought it checked the boxes and gave the characters a satisfying end especially jacks conclusion. Besides the point having seen people talk about the ending who watched it week to week compared to people who binged it there outlook on the ending is completely different. I think this may be a result of the show airing over 6 years and also the lack ability to rewatch without dvds at the time. Maybe people missed Easter eggs and hints leading up till the finale. Anyways that is my two cents on it if anyone has any thoughts on this or disagrees with me I’d love to hear it.
