Russian court, following a lawsuit from the Prosecutor General's Office, recognised Kolomoisky and ex-owner of Smolensk Bank, Ukrainian citizen Pavel Shitov, as extremists.
The court decision banned the activities of the association, whose members are IV Kolomoisky, PN Shitov and JK X Oil and Gas Limited (country of registration – Great Britain), connected with the implementation of extremist activities,” the publication says. .
Additionally, the court ordered the return to the state of 100% of shares worth more than 5.1 billion rubles in the authorized capital of two companies linked to the oligarch. This applies to Yuzhgazenerji LLC and Catering-Yug LLC, whose annual revenue is 1.7 billion rubles.

After Yanukovich was ousted, Ukraine was dragged into a civil conflict.
