What does it mean to understand something?
Does it mean to stand partially, or to stand underneath something? Obviously not

Under - isn’t exactly a quantifier here, since it’s not possible to overstand something. It rather implies to be in direct contact with a fact - to Be in or engulfed by it. Quite similar to how it is used in the phrase “under those conditions”.

“I understand” may be a very colloquial phrase - but rarely do people mean anything by it, atleast not in the truest sense. I say this because our minds serve as a filter between our brain and the external world, casually distorting every report sent to it by the senses. Few people can listen so attentively, that their mind’s inner commentary doesn’t interrupt.

A believer can never listen to an atheist, his mind will be too busy coming up with noscriptures to cajole him with. An atheist cannot listen to a believer, his mind will be too busy coming up with scientific proof to argue with. In the believer, there is repressed doubt. He lives in constant fear that if he listens to such “blasphemous words”, they may interrupt. Likewise the atheist has repressed his faith. He knows that there’s something greater than him at work. If he isn’t careful he maybe converted, and his ego just won’t have that.

You see, your ability to understand a fact, depends on your intellectual capacity (and/or your willingness to accept it). Your understanding of life, depends on your level of consciousness. This is why 99.9% of Christians don’t have a single clue what Jesus was about. That’s like expecting a pre-schooler to grasp calculus. Anybody can read the Bhagavad Gita or Tao Te Ching, not everyone can squeeze out the true essence of those words. Reread those books every months and they will always shower you with fresh insights. The difference in maturity is why and receptivity is why.

Deepest truths cannot be verified logically, but meditatively.
If you want to come understand life, you must be willing to be come in direct contact with reality. And for that you have to break down the wall that stands between you || truth - your own mind!

So what is Truth exactly, and how does silence help us uncover it?

We’ll continue tomorrow 🥋
What do Socrates, Nietzsche and Jesus have in common?

They’re three of the most dangerous men to have ever lived! Not only were they revolutionary thinkers, they were highly vociferous of their truth. History will never forget these men, for they displayed insights that were far beyond their age, and far ahead of the times they lived in. One of the hallmarks of truly wise men - is that the world only figures them out posthumously. These men were considered so dangerous, that two of them were murdered, and one was locked in asylum by his own relatives. All because they made what was then considered to be “blasphemous”.

~ Nietzsche famously wrote “God is dead, we have killed him, and the church is his sepulcher”
~ Socrates asked Euthyphro (a prophet) in a dialectical - “Is something good because God approves of it or does God approve of it because it is good?
~ Jesus dramatically proclaimed to be God, one with the Creator.

Now were these men actually impious, or were the people around them too shallow, too naive, and too blind to see the Truth.
These men were true rebels. They fought against the herd mentality, broke free, and tried to free others. They saw life in 7D when the people around them were stuck on 3D..

Now “language” as a concept has to be fully explored on its own, for it is the very foundation that upholds all human illusions. Here’s a fun fact - had Jesus been born in India, he would have been reverenced not killed. Easterners are more familiar with such teachings, as they have a long history of enlightened masters. Try hard as he may to describe Truth in the lingua franca of the Jews, their stony-hearts just couldn’t comprehend him. Even in this channel, there’re people who will viscerally grasp what I say, while others may struggle. Just as I wouldn’t expect you to speak a language you aren’t familiar with, I wouldn’t fault you if this exposition sounds like jargon. But you have a sound mind, if and only if, you are able to see beyond the limiting scope of your parental & societal & parental. This is the effect that traveling (exposure to new cultures) have on people. Or you could just read. And when you read enough wise men, you’ll inevitably get to a point where you observe a lot of synchronicities and interwoven insights in their messages (irrespective of their era, race or religious beliefs). Almost as if Truth is consistent everywhere!

I personally have been able to draw parallels between the core teachings of Jesus, and those of other masters like Buddha, Lao Tzu, Khrishnamurti etc. However I do not share my deepest insights with the unserious.
Scheming stage complete; This is the knowledge tree I’ve drafted for our up & coming month of truth.
Themed: “BECOME YOUR OWN SAGE”.
This will be revolutionary!! 🥋
A gist of how my day went + what to expect from BYOS 🥷

VNsummary;

Become your own sage will start out as a monthly seminar (we are writing that book together, we are awakening together, we are making history together) 🥋

There’ll be weekly podcasts + Q&A questions.
Some (certified) guest speakers are;
GinormousBuddha (11k)
LightofShiva (18k)
Evil Saint (20k)

All articles will be compiled and re-edited into a proper book which will be available for free to members (including the podcasts recordings and hopefully an audiobook later on)

However we are facing a minor resistance. Some dark antagonistic forces have risen up. When something groundbreaking and impactful is in the works they rear their ugly head. It’s as expected. Greater forces are with us. The signs are on the wall. Nothing can stop this grand awakening -

No longer shall we live in sleep, fear & ignorance. Whatever happens, we will make it happen!

I get synchronicities like this a lot - when my inner thoughts get reflected back to me in the external world. It’s past 2 am here. I’m lying on bed frustrated by insomnia. So I pick a random book in my library, scroll to a random page, and after reading a few pages, I found this.

Behold, the congruence in analogy (and from one of humanity’s most brilliant mind ever).
Note the proclamation of Divine Oneness from Jesus and this Mansoor guy. Jesus’ dying statement was just as profound. He said - “father forgive them for they know not what they’re doing”. But Socrates’ is by far my favorite. When asked by his wailing followers why he seemed rather calm as his soon to be administered poison was being concocted, he replied - “Death could be a pleasant experience, so why should I fear it. And if it’s a terrible experience, well I’d be dead so I wouldn’t know”.

Great men strive to live well, wise men strive to die well. A feat achieved by the rarest of humans. This is definitely worth striving for. 🥋

What’s up Ninjas 🥷

Whilst this is a fairly balanced poll, I can’t in good conscience ignore the few brothers that need help with this. Shoutout to everyone who immediately shared any helpful info they had in the comments. That’s what it’s all about.

However I took it a step further to invite a master of sexual energy transmutation to come enlighten us.

It’s MasculineTheory (scroll up a little and you’d find a beautiful tweet of his). He’s someone who’s really dedicated to his work in empowering men, and his YouTube channel is a testament to that. It’s a pleasure to be able to book him on such short notice.

So clear your schedule frens - for the first ever podcast in the Dojo! 🥁

How long will you remain society's puppet?

From the moment you were born, the world has continually conditioned you as it wishes. First your parents programmed you to adopt their beliefs, lifestyle, idiosyncrasies, anger issues, and whatever they have going on for them.

Then in school, you were taught how to be the perfect societal dummy. You went through intense compliance training and became docile. As you got older, your mind got hacked by social media. They influenced you into mimetic desires, over consumerism, fanaticism, and all kinds of sexual perversions. Now your life is purely driven by survival, pleasure and addictions.

Observe how you guilt trip yourself no matter what you do or don't do. Observe how you spend all your waking minute pleasing people, whether they are living or dead. You live by their norms, conform to their standards, seek their validation, hope for their approval, rely on their guidance, and sheepishly emulate them. You are scared (or unable) to think for yourself, to wander and find you own truth. Congrats, you've been indoctrinated to life long dependency.

Not only did they program what to think into you, they built a fail switch to ensure you don't doubt your upbringing, talk less of attempting to break free. And this impedes your soul's yearning for true freedom. Now wonder you are always confused on what to do and how to live.

You have become a puppet to some very dubious people. Your freewill is only an illusion. They have you wasting your life, chasing fanciful illusions and serving false gods.

The purpose of this month long seminar (and book) is to deprogram you. To help you regain autonomy over your life. It's time to unlearn all the garbage that has been deposited into your mind.

Techniques to free you from the mind

1 - There are no mistakes

The most notorious habit of the human mind is to resist reality. We prefer to live in our little world of imagination (painful or pleasurable), than living in reality. Because quite honestly, reality is boring.

Yet all your frustrations stem from your mind’s inability to accept life as it is in the moment. You attribute all effects to your actions, and rarely consider the sheer magnitude of things outside your control. As a result, you expect your actions to be well calculated, 100% accurate, & effectuate only positive effects. Quite foolish considering the fact that you neither have the mental capacity to compute all possible factors per moment, nor the ability to predict the future. Simply put, you hate to err.

This fear of erring has deep roots in your upbringing. It was painstakingly instilled in you by your parents and school system. The school system fulfills its part of the quota by employing a grading system that destroys the confidence of students. A terrible and inaccurate method of judging intelligence.

Generally, society upholds a strong stigma against failure. Academics isn’t the only test society puts you through. Your lifestyle, spirituality, health, appearance, relationship status, career choices are always being scrutinized by people who should have no business in your business. Unfortunately that’s the world you found yourself in, and you’ve learnt to adapt… Or have you?

The price of “adapting” is far costlier than anything you can imagine. What it actually means is that you’ve learnt to suffer in silence as the countless voices in your head incessantly judge you. Yet these voices aren’t really yours - but a composite of your parents, religious leaders, partners, friends, and even influencers. With varying intensity depending on what group you are most subservient to. The expectations of these people constantly bombard your mind. You frantically try to act in accordance with their set of rules, beating yourself up mentally for any slip up. Paradoxically, when you are overly conscious not to err, everything you do would seem like a mistake.
To be free of this obsession with perfection, let’s look into the concept of mistake.

What exactly is a mistake? Psychologically speaking - it is the mere idea that reality could be different other than what it is. Read that again. An idea that you create in your mind of the possibility that things could have happened differently. There’s no such thing. All of that is just a play of your intellect & imagination.

Understand this: No matter how hard you imagine it - things will never be different than how they are presently. You are only able to change the past in your mind, it never reflects reality momentarily.
So why waste mental energy in fantasy land? Reality may be boring or painful, but fully accepting it as it is changes the quality of your mind, and in turn, the quality of the experience. See it as a way to sharpen your Stoics.

You don’t have to let your own mind keep torturing you with could haves, would haves and should haves. Henceforth, whenever a thought pops up in your head saying you made a wrong choice or said the wrong thing, stop it dead in its tracks. Things are always exaggerated (positively or negatively) in your mind. There’s no way you could possibly know how things could have turned out alternatively. It’s guess work at best.

This habit of wanting or imaging things to be different is so deeply ingrained that it’s almost second nature. It’s not easy to break from, but you can start practicing today. Just don’t be interested or invested in your mind's stories, no matter how tempting they are.
Even in this you’ll err and your mind will try to guilt trip you. Remain detached & indifferent to whatever it says. Rather than participating in the discourse between all the voices in your head, be the watcher. Don’t even be the judge or corrector. Stand aloof, and gradually the ability of your mind to pull you into dream land will wane….
Hope this helps someone 🤎

Self awareness is like an onion. There are multiple layers to it. The more you peel back, the more you’ll gain new insights on yourself. By exploring the different facets of your personality, you’ll begin to realize your one true face from the various masks you put on to function in society.

This self-knowledge is what compounds to wisdom. You’ll begin to receive direct guidance from the divine intelligence that organizes all of life itself.

The deeper you go, the more likely you are going to start crying randomly.
