If you want to store sensitive data, use GnuPG. If you want provably secure communication, use IRC w/ SSL. I may be putting up a guide on how to do that soon.

Humans are geared for pattern-matching. It's what our brains do best. Occasionally, you find patterns in things that aren't intended to have patterns - see: jesus on toast, hellish messages in reversed songs, etc. - there's a lot of false positives.

Since a lot of people are PMing me about this, clarification: IRC is only secure if you trust the server, so this was implying that you are the one hosting the server.
