On July 24th, 2025, inside sources revealed the MIT Laboratory for Atomistic and Molecular Mechanics initiated a brand new grant proposal funded by the Israeli Ministry of Defense (IMoD). On the same day, Israel murdered at least sixty-two Palestinians, nineteen of which were seeking aid. This is the fifth IMOD grant MIT has proposed since October 7th, 2023; this is the fifth attempt to directly collaborate with the genocidal Israeli military.

On June 9th, 2025, MIT hosted senior executives from Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), Israel’s state-run weapons company. IAI is one of the main providers of drones, armored cars, fighter jets and missiles for the IOF. These visitors included VP Avital Schrift, who developed the HAROP “suicide” drones which fly into refugee tents in Gaza and detonate on impact. Another was Inbal Kreiss, an MIT-trained missile designer who developed Israel’s mainline Arrow 3 anti-ballistic missiles. MIT briefed the weapons engineers of a genocidal army on our latest research programs. This is part of MIT’s partnership with IAI via our CSAIL Alliances program; the same day, at least 49 people in Gaza were martyred with the help of IAI’s weaponry.

Because of ties like these, the UN Human Rights Council just officially indicted MIT for its continued ties to the Israeli military.
Gaza is starving as the world watches. Between March and mid-May, no humanitarian aid was allowed to enter Gaza; the aid that has entered since May is not nearly enough to sustain the population. This level of famine is not an inevitable famine; it is a settler-colonial tactic. The Israeli army has deliberately destroyed over one thousand trucks filled with humanitarian aid. Over one thousand Palestinians have been murdered while trying to access aid; many of these massacres occurred around sites operated by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, an American-run and Israeli-backed organization that violates principles of international humanitarian law.

As Gaza starves, MIT has deepened its ties to the state-owned weapons trafficker Israeli Aerospace Industries (IAI). IAI directly arms the genocidal Israeli government, providing the missiles and drones used to ethnically cleanse Palestinians. Despite these crimes, MIT welcomed IAI executives in June, including its Chief Technology Officer, the CEO of the IAI North America, and lead missile designers. On campus, they discussed institutional collaborations on Quantum Computing, AI, and the Industrial Liaison Program. Why does MIT President Sally Kornbluth defend MIT ties to the mass murder of Palestinians? We demand MIT cut ties with IAI’s genocidal arms dealers.

We honor Hathaleen's testament of life and resistance.
The settler who murdered Hathaleen operates an illegal outpost near Umm al-Khair and owns a construction and demolition company, which is subcontracted by the IOF to carry out demolitions in the West Bank of Palestinian homes. The settler has also been working in Gaza City, doing home demolitions for the army there during the genocidal war on Gaza.
As Hathaleen wrote about the bulldozers: "I remember my mother’s tears when I arrived back in the village, the women shouting, and the anger in the men’s faces. I remember the activists who stood with us, the soldiers and Border Police officers throwing tear gas, and the men being arrested. It’s a painful memory, yet I can’t help but remember."
