Un esempio: "Spazio - f - e - d" (spazio e poi si premono in sequenza "f", "e", "d") apre il file di configurazione, facendo nel contempo ballare due livelli di menu nella parte bassa dello schermo. Poi spacemacs come ambiente di lavoro, sia per chi scrive codice che per chi scrive prosa (magari in markdown) è molto potente, con una serie di layer preconfigurati (to-do, calendari, visione di tutta la struttura del progetto, gestione di repository e via dicendo) e sulla carta come lui non ce n'è nessuno. Se uno per esempio lo utilizza assieme a Git, si apre un intero nuovo mondo di keybindigs che, secondo me, la metà basterebbero.

Conclusioni. Tutto molto bello, ma non mi interessa. VIm è il mio giardino zen e, se anche emacs/spacemacs è un ambiente più ricco, potente e apparentemente completo (ma direi soprattutto "più esplicito"), non ne ho bisogno. La cosa vale ovviamente per me ma non è detto che sia così per tutti. Quindi, se volete farvi un'idea in prima persona, qui sotto ci sono un po' di risorse utili, nel caso vogliate cimentarvi.

Nei giorni scorsi sono stato per lavoro a Venezia. Un mordi-e-fuggi (come sempre accade) che però mi ha permesso di passare una notte e mezza giornata lavorativa dentro una struttura alberghiera e per conferenze piuttosto singolare: l'Hilton Molino Stucky sull'isola della Giudecca. Tutti gli amici veneziani erano piuttosto stupiti perché, dal 2007 quando ha aperto, pare che il Molino Stucky sia il posto "figo" in cui stare. Incuriosito, sono andato a cercare un po' di informazioni e in effetti la storia architettonica, industriale e sociale dei molini Stucky è abbastanza particolare: un vero e proprio "castello in laguna" con un ruolo di tutto rilievo. Lo metto qui, a futura memoria.

C'è uno che ama i MacBook Pro, ma questa generazione proprio non gli va giù. Non sono d'accordo, anzi secondo me esagera un po'. Però qualche punto ce l'ha.
