Belangrijk nieuws over coronavaccinatie voor zwangere vrouwen!

De Gezondheidsraad heeft haar advies herzien en raadt nu niet langer standaard vaccinatie tegen covid-19 aan voor zwangere vrouwen. Dit komt na zorgvuldige overwegingen van de subcommissie vaccinatie, waarbij de toegevoegde waarde van vaccinatie als laag wordt beschouwd.

Het Artsen Collectief juicht deze aanpassing toe, wat lijkt voort te komen uit het luisteren naar de bezorgdheden van verloskundigen.

Het blijft echter onbegrijpelijk dat het advies voor zorgmedewerkers onveranderd blijft, met als voornaamste argument "je doet het voor de ander".

Het Artsen Collectief pleit al geruime tijd voor een stop op alle mRNA coronavaccinaties totdat er adequate, onafhankelijke veiligheidsstudies zijn afgerond en gepubliceerd. Een goede afweging tussen risico's en voordelen, evenals onafhankelijke effectiviteitsstudies, zijn essentieel.
