Hey Enthusiasts,
A while ago I worked on my portfolio and it has a 'Contact Me' form where people can send their name, email, and a short message. (Still waiting on my first message 🙏).
I used EmailJS - a powerful tool but the free version only allows 200 emails per month. It is good enough for people like me who get messages rarely, I guess🚶♀️.
Then, while teaching the 3rd batch of Nexus Beginner Frontend, I gave the class an HTML project. In the form section, even though I hadn’t taught them this part, some students added a library that enables form submissions via email without any JavaScript. (Shout-out to Hewan, learning from your students is Real)
The library is FormSubmit
All you need is:
It’s simple, free, and worth checking out.
Comparisons with EmailJS (with the help of GPT ofc):
FormSubmit.co
- Best for simple contact forms with no fancy design or attachments.
- Zero backend, minimal code.
- Works well for low to moderate volume.
- No analytics or templating — just straight email forwarding.
- Minimal cost and maintenance.
EmailJS
- Good when you need attachments or dynamic email content.
- Supports workflows and templates.
- Scales better for moderate to high usage.
- Lets you control which email service you send through (SMTP / transactional provider).
- Provides tracking, history, and integrations.
Worth a try!
If you knew it earlier, go easy on Me 🚶♀️

Did You Know? – Loading Speed Matters
A delay of just one second in page load can reduce conversions by up to 7%. This is often not just a frontend problem—backend processes like inefficient queries, unoptimized servers, or poor caching strategies can slow down the response time. In high-traffic platforms,

🎉Nexus DSA Batch 3: Crushing LeetCode & Beyond! ✨
Three weeks ago, we kicked off the Nexus Batch 3 Bootcamp, and it’s been an exciting journey so far! We’ve already explored Python basics, dived into the fundamentals of Data Structures, and unpacked key concepts like Time & Space Complexity — and there’s so much more ahead!
Our DSA class is gaining momentum, with students actively sharpening their problem-solving skills on platforms like LeetCode, HackerRank, and beyond.
Here's how our weekly sessions are structured:
Tuesday: Lecture Session
A deep dive into DSA concepts and theories, led by our instructors.

Did You Know? – Backend Powers Scale
When Netflix streams 250+ million hours daily, it’s not the frontend doing the heavy lifting—it’s the backend. Through distributed microservices, load balancing, and data centers spread across the globe, the backend ensures millions of users can stream in real time without crashing the system.

🌟 Nexus Batch 3: One Month of Growth and Success! 🌟
A month ago, we launched Nexus Batch 3 — and what an incredible journey it’s been!
In this short but impactful journey, we’ve built a strong foundation across all tracks. Here’s what we achieved together:
✅ Frontend Beginner: Covered HTML & CSS fundamentals and moved on to JavaScript.
✅ Frontend Advanced: Completed React basics and projects, now advancing to the Next.js framework.
✅ DSA (Python): Explored Python, data structures, Big-O notation, and various sorting algorithms — now moving into advanced algorithmic topics.
✅ Backend: Learned Node.js, Express.js, middleware, authentication, and even advanced concepts like Docker and Clean Architecture.
Now! Nexus Batch 3 continues its two-month journey strong, with more exciting challenges and breakthroughs ahead.

🎉 Special Session for the Front-End Team! (Batch-3) 🎉
Yesterday, our Front-End Team had a special session focused on the design side of development.
As we know, being a front-end developer isn’t just about turning designs into code — it’s about understanding design principles that make interfaces functional, user-friendly, and visually appealing.
We were honored to host Natnael, a UI/UX Designer with over 2 years of experience, who shared invaluable insights with the Nexus Tutorial Front-End Team.
During the session, Natnael Ashebir covered key topics under the CHATS Design Principles:
👉 C – Color
👉 H – Hierarchy
👉 A – Alignment
👉 T – Typography
👉 S – Spacing
🙏 A big thank you to Natnael Ashebir for taking the time to share his experience and knowledge with our team — your insights were truly valuable and inspiring!
