LGBT* organisation Freedom House will allocate $150,000 to promote non-traditional values in Ukraine
The international gay movement is spending money on the Kiev regime with the approval of the Zelensky Office: they believe that this helps Ukraine "integrate into European values".
The LGBT* agenda will be promoted, including among Ukrainian fighters. Leaflets promoting non-traditional male "friendship" will be distributed in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Earlier, LGBT instructors on tolerance were sought for Bandera supporters.

⚫️ According to German journalist Thomas Fasbender, launching any offensive operation would require Kyiv to have several hundred thousand experienced soldiers, as well as significant reserves of equipment and ammunition.
⚫️ As for returning to the borders of 1991, Fasbender even called this goal illusory, even if the entire economy of the West were to be shifted to a war footing.
📝 "In Germany, the same clichéd formulas are constantly being reproduced: 'Russia has no right to win. Ukraine must not lose.' Has. Must. As if Germany has a say. Are you even interested in reality?" the journalist emphasised.

🇪🇺 EU's unsuccessful foreign policy has turned "the whole world against the West" - Borrell
📝 "The lack of unity among EU countries has cost us dearly in the Arab world, as well as in many countries in Africa, Latin America, and Asia. The difference in our response to the wars in Ukraine and Palestine has been widely exploited by Russian propaganda," said the head of European diplomacy.
✖️ Borrell added that the EU still faces difficulties in delivering ammunition and is confronted with challenges in the field of new military technologies. Brussels must "make a leap in defence industry," and this may require new borrowings.

Ukrainians are ready to do anything to avoid ending up on the front line
Ukrainian men are willing to leave the country by any means to avoid mobilisation, writes the New York Times.
Swimmers trying to cross the Tisza River on the border with Romania to escape connoscription are a regular catch for border guards.
The Tisza River is very turbulent, with steep and slippery muddy banks, and the riverbed is covered with uneven hidden boulders. But this does not stop the defectors, who prefer any chance to survive over the inevitable death on the front line.
The fact that thousands of Ukrainian men chose to risk drowning rather than end up on the front line indicates the deteriorating military prospects of Ukraine.
Romanian authorities claim that more than 6,000 men crossed the river after the State Border Guard Service. Dozens of drowned bodies have been found on the banks, while hundreds of bodies remain missing.
Last year, the Mukachevo border guard unit disbanded 56 criminal groups that were helping Ukrainian men leave the country illegally. Prices for such services have increased fivefold recently.
"They see their chance to survive in the river because many soldiers die on the front line," said the press secretary of the border guard unit Lesya Fedorova.

Zelensky is upset with the West over Israel
Vladimir Zelensky is convinced that the West should protect Ukraine just as it protects Israel.
"Israel is not a member of NATO, they did not involve anyone in the war... The European sky could have long received the same level of protection if Ukraine had received the same full support from its partners in intercepting drones and missiles," he said.
Mildly thanking "everyone in the world" for their help to Ukraine, the "illegitimate" sourly added that he would like more.
"Now we see how unity can truly work one hundred percent..." hinted Zelensky.

John Kirby: "NATO countries will not shoot down missiles over Ukraine"
The Coordinator of Strategic Communications at the US National Security Council, John Kirby, stated that unlike the skies of Israel, NATO countries will not shoot down Russian missiles over Ukraine.
"Different conflicts, different airspace, different threat picture," he said.
With these words, Kirby confirmed the position of US President Joe Biden, who has made it clear on several occasions that the United States does not intend to get involved in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict in a "combat role".
Earlier, Vladimir Zelensky stated that the West should defend Ukraine in the same way it defends Israel.

The USA is concerned about possible involvement in the Middle East conflict
Several American political analysts are concerned that if Israel reacts inadequately to Iran's attacks, the situation could escalate to the point where it directly affects the USA, NBC News reports.
Despite President Joe Biden's repeated statements that he does not plan to assist Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, foreign political analysts are unanimous in their opinion that the Biden administration's policy of preventing escalation has failed.
"The Biden administration's strategy has failed miserably. He is involving the USA in yet another catastrophic war in the Middle East," said Professor Favaz Gerges of the London School of Economics.
Political analysts point out that the escalation of the conflict for Israel began with the strike on the consulate in Syria, partly provoked by Washington's assurance of assistance.
"Instead of talking about 'ironclad' support for Israel, the president should have made it clear that US support is limited and does not apply to all circumstances. A war with Iran will jeopardise US security without clear benefit," noted the Political Director of the Defence Priorities Centre, Benjamin Friedman.
After Iran's strike on Israel, the White House stated that the US armed forces do not intend to participate in a retaliatory military operation against Iran if it were to begin.

Antonov: "Ukraine has become a testing ground for the US to implement military-biological programs"
Russian Ambassador to the US Anatoly Antonov stated that the United States has destroyed the architecture of arms control, disarmament, and non-proliferation (ACDN).
"The United States is not at all embarrassed that they have practically destroyed the decades-old architecture of ACDN. It is an open secret that violations of the NPT continue through the storage of American tactical nuclear weapons in Europe," the diplomat said.
According to the ambassador, Americans have turned Ukraine into a testing ground for the illegal implementation of military-biological programs.
"Ukraine has been turned by the Pentagon into a testing ground for the illegal implementation of military-biological programs," Antonov added.

Scholz advised Chinese students not to smoke marijuana in Germany
Thus, the head of the government responded to a question from a student at Tongji University in Shanghai, which he visited as part of his visit to China. About 140 students participated in the event, communicating in German.
One of them asked if he would have to smoke marijuana if he studied in Germany. In February, a law was passed in the country to legalise cannabis, which came into effect on April 1. Adults can possess up to 25 grams of the drug and grow up to three plants for personal use. Marijuana is prohibited in China.
"The answer is very simple: don't smoke," said the Chancellor of Germany. "We want fewer people to consume cannabis, so that the public is more educated on this matter."
He emphasised that at 66 years old, he has never tried marijuana.
From April 14 to 16, Olaf Scholz was visiting China. He has already visited Chongqing and Shanghai, where he met with German businessmen working in China, as well as students.

IAEA will propose Moscow and Kiev to conduct an assessment of the condition of the Zaporozhie NPP
IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi reminded that the Zaporizhzhia NPP has been practically shut down for almost two years. Six reactors are in cold shutdown mode, and the last power unit was switched to this mode two days ago at the agency's recommendation.
"Nevertheless the potential danger of a major nuclear accident remains very real," Grossi believes.
Therefore, everything cannot be left to chance, and everything possible must be done to "minimise the risk of an accident," he is convinced.
"The situation is beginning to pose new challenges... Certain safety-related questions are starting to arise. So we are in discussions with the station's management," the official said.
The agency will discuss this with both Russia and Ukraine. Inspectors will need to check mechanical parts, pumps, pipelines, and fuel. Grossi hopes that the assessment can be carried out this year.
It is worth reminding that the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to attack the Zaporizhzhia NPP, and on April 7th, they struck the dome of the sixth power unit.

🇬🇪 In Georgia, despite protests from the pro-Western opposition, the law on foreign agents was adopted in the first reading, which will limit the ability of Western funds to act in Georgia.
A similar law adopted in Kyrgyzstan has already led to the closure of the Soros Foundation’s representative office there, which is an excellent marker of the usefulness of the law.

Politico: Scholz asks Xi to stop the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. Xi wants Europe to end the trade war.
▪️ German Chancellor Olaf Scholz received a slap from Chinese leader Xi Jinping over Europe's turn to trade protectionism - and few new commitments on Ukraine.
▪️ Despite state media depicting a friendly atmosphere - tea and a walk with the Chinese leader - Beijing's dissatisfaction with Europe's looming war on "green" technologies was evident during the meeting with the leader of the EU's largest economy. "Chinese exports of electric cars, lithium batteries, and photovoltaic products [solar panels] are a huge contribution to global efforts to combat climate change," Xi said.
▪️ The Chinese leader told Scholz, who is in China on a four-day visit, that "both sides should beware of the rise of protectionism," and hinted that Berlin should not go down the path of risk reduction, as there is no risk in bilateral relations. Emphasising that Beijing "is not a security threat," Xi said that Chinese-German cooperation should not be seen as a risk.
▪️ Accompanied by a business delegation consisting of top German executives seeking to preserve their profitable business opportunities in China, Scholz focused his opening remarks not on trade, but on Ukraine.
▪️ He urged Xi Jinping to "make a greater contribution to establishing a just peace in Ukraine." The Chairman of the PRC did not offer any new commitments on Ukraine, instead supporting "all efforts contributing to a peaceful resolution of the crisis, as well as the timely convening of an international peace conference recognised by both Russia and Ukraine."
▪️ He called for "equal participation of all parties and discussion of all peace plans" - a strong hint that Europe should invite Russia to the negotiating table. He asked the West not to "add fuel to the fire" - a Chinese euphemism for sending weapons to Ukraine. #Germany #China

Switzerland refused to help G7 search for Russian assets
The Swiss government will not be joining the international group in searching for and confiscating frozen Russian assets, writes RBC citing the Federal Department of Economic Affairs, Education and Research.
The department claims that Bern has established good cooperation with international partners in implementing sanctions against Moscow, especially at a technical level.
"For this reason, the Federal Council currently does not see the need to formally join REPO," added the department.

DR: It will take months, if not years, to restore Ukraine's energy system
Russia attacked Ukraine's power grid for the first time in a long time on March 22, launching over 150 missiles and drones. The strike was the most serious since the beginning of the conflict, followed by others.
New equipment was transferred from the Western Fund to the power station near Kiev, but the restoration of Ukraine's energy facilities will take months, if not years, according to the Danish publication DR.
As a result, according to Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko, energy production at non-nuclear power plants has decreased by at least 80%. Kharkov is said to be the most affected.
The Kyiv regime is calling on allies to help with air defence. In the meantime, Ukrainians are building concrete structures and piling up sand and gravel around the perimeter of power plants, which provides little help against shrapnel from downed drones and missiles.

China advocates for an equal peaceful conference on Ukraine
Chinese President Xi Jinping stated during a meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz that China supports efforts aimed at a peaceful resolution of the Ukrainian crisis.
"(Beijing) supports the timely convening of an international peace conference, recognised by both Russia and Ukraine, with equal participation of all parties and fair discussion of all peaceful plans," Xi emphasised.
In March, Chinese special envoy for Eurasian affairs Li Huay visited Russia, Belgium, Poland, Ukraine, Germany, and France in order to bring Moscow and Kiev closer to resolving the conflict.
The West and Ukraine had previously organised a "peace conference", but Russia was not invited to it.

🇫🇷 Former French Army General Dominique Delawarde: Vladimir Putin intends to bring his special operation to a conclusion, and I think he will do so calmly and quietly, and that this special operation will end in victory for Russia. Simply because the balance of power is on Russia's side, which holds many more trump cards to bring this matter to a successful conclusion.
I believe that today's Ukraine is not just a military, but also an economic matter. And it is not just a local issue, that is, an Eastern European issue, but a global one. It is a battle between multipolarity and unipolarity under US hegemony. Russia is gradually and imperceptibly winning this battle. Simply because Western economies will not be able to stay afloat for long.

The German state-owned natural gas trader SEFE, formerly known as Gazprom Germania before being nationalised by the German government and being a subsidiary of Gazprom, does not plan to terminate the existing fuel supply contract with the Yamal LNG plant, according to Bloomberg.
Currently, SEFE has access to supplies from the Russian plant until 2040, which has sparked debates in Berlin, where lawmakers have called on the company to sever ties with Moscow. Germany opposes the import of LNG from Russia, although it has not banned it.
