❗️The United States may transfer technology for the production of American MIM-104A Patriot SAM systems to Ukraine

The issue of localising the production of SAM systems was raised during the negotiations between Zelensky and Biden in the autumn of 2023, claims the Ukrainian Ambassador to the US, Markarova.

They allegedly may start partially producing and assembling them from delivered components in Ukraine.

How this is possible considering the existing technologies in Ukraine and the constant strikes by the Russian Aerospace Forces is unclear.

Over the course of several decades, Ukrainian arms manufacturers have produced zero SAM systems, and the director of the enterprise responsible for their repair - Lviv's "LORTA" - had been stealing parts and precious metals from the SAM systems in service with Ukraine for several years.

He is currently in prison.

The US will spend more than half of the aid package on itself for Ukraine
