Russian military personnel have settled at an airbase in Niger, where US troops are stationed

Russian military personnel have appeared at the American military base in Niger. In March, Niger terminated an agreement with the US, and soon American troops will have to leave the base, to be replaced by the Russian "African Corps".

According to media reports, the Russians are using a separate hangar on the base, but US authorities are unhappy with the proximity of the military personnel of the two countries.
