Europe will not survive a war with Russia - Hungarian Prime Minister Orban
In an interview with Hungary Today, the Hungarian politician warned that NATO is approaching direct participation in the conflict with the Russian Federation.
“We are centimetres away from actual destruction. Do we dare to say that we are not ready to die for Ukraine? We're not ready. Hungarians want peace, and Europe cannot withstand another war,” said Viktor Orban.
Orban also criticized the West’s desire for military success at any cost.

NATO has only 5% of the air defence resources needed to protect the eastern flank, exposing the scale of the continent's vulnerability, according to the Financial Times.
The publication notes that the importance of air defence has been underscored by the war in Ukraine.
"The ability to defend against missiles and air strikes is a key part of the plan to protect Eastern Europe from invasion. And right now, we don't have that," one senior NATO diplomat is quoted as saying.
The authors note that strengthening European defence will be a central theme at the Alliance leaders' summit in Washington in July.
"Some European leaders and military officials have stated that by the end of the decade, Russia may have the ability to attack NATO member countries," the material says.
