The Vice Chancellor noted that the ban on strikes against Russia would mean the death of more people in Ukraine.

"Delay is the wrong word. We have to make very difficult decisions, so it's good to carefully consider everything. In this case, the right decision was made," Habeck added.

Last week, the German government officially confirmed that it allows Ukraine to use the German-provided weapons for strikes against military targets in Russian territory.
