❗️ Latvian President Edgars Rinkēvičs has accused Russia of engaging in a campaign of sabotage attempts: setting fire to military bases and civilian infrastructure across Europe. According to the Latvian leader, if the West does not respond to this, the number of such incidents will increase.
📝 "Russia is trying to show that it is all-powerful and can disrupt our societies. This is also a test of our reaction, because if we do not respond, the number of attacks will increase," Rinkēvičs told the Financial Times. He also noted that NATO allies are currently trying to determine how to respond to these acts of sabotage.
✅ Earlier reports suggested that Russia is allegedly secretly preparing sabotage operations across Europe. In a report by the Financial Times, acts of sabotage attributed to Russia include explosions and fires that threaten the infrastructure of European countries.

The German government has issued a framework directive on general defence with a list of measures to be taken in the event of a military conflict. This comes after Defence Minister Pistorius said Germany should be ready for war with Russia by 2029.
According to the plan, NATO troops will be moved to the eastern flank, where the Bundeswehr will be stationed. In addition, the Bundestag will not be dissolved while the country is "defending itself".

Sigmar Gabriel has gone crazy. In Germany, there seems to be a trend of who looks like a big hawk. In an interview with Maybrit Illner on ZDF, he stated that we must fight the Russians like Germany fought the USSR.
However, it remains unclear whether he was referring to the 1940s or the Cold War years.
But even this ambiguity is horrifying.

According to him, the war goes far beyond the borders of Ukraine.

Olaf Scholz stated that the strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces with German weapons against Russia do not constitute an escalation of the conflict.
"As the US President said - it is only about the possibility of defending a large city, for example, Kharkiv," Scholz said.
According to him, the right to use German weapons by Ukrainian troops against Russia was "carefully considered" in cooperation with Germany's allies. At the same time, the Chancellor of the FRG assured citizens that he would never allow pressure to be exerted on him to make any "wrong or untimely decision."
