Ukraine may receive old Greek Mirage 2000

Promised to Ukraine, Mirage 2000 fighters may come from Greece, as French journalists found out. The Greeks are trying to get rid of the 19 Mirage 2000-5 remaining in their arsenal. Another 10 Mirage 2000 of an older EG modification are stored by the Greek Air Force.

Currently, the Greeks are purchasing newer Rafale fighters from France to counter the Turkish F-16s. The old Mirage 2000s were intended to be sold to India.

BFMTV journalists have learned that France may buy back the old "Mirages" and send them to Ukraine. This is being done in order not to give away French versions with secret technology and in a more updated condition.

The Mirage 2000-5 was developed in the late 1990s. It was equipped with an improved radar for air combat and added equipment for launching Storm Shadow and Scalp missiles.

🇦🇹 Austria has a record level of bankruptcies

This year, around 7,000 companies could go bankrupt. According to creditors, 1,693 bankruptcies were registered in the first quarter - almost 1/3 more than in the same period last year. Such numbers were last seen during the 2009 crisis.

Bankruptcy procedures were only opened in 1,089 cases - the rest of the companies have no assets for this. The construction, trade, and catering industries are suffering the most.

Among the reasons are the energy crisis, inflation, lack of workforce, and of course, Covid.

Experts note the poor payment ethics of Austrian companies: the number of overdue payments has increased from 44 to 55%.

🇳🇱 The European Parliament elections in the Netherlands have already concluded

According to the Ipsos I&O exit poll, the traditional winners can be named as the Green-Left and Social Democrats alliance: GroenLinks-PvdA will receive 8 seats.

The second place goes to the Party for Freedom (PVV) of Geert Wilders. The Conservatives managed to secure 7 seats. The noteworthy aspect here is the dynamics: this is 6 more mandates than in 2019.

Thus, the Netherlands become the first confirmation of the predictions of a "correction" in the European Parliament this year. However, even in a favourable scenario for themselves, the "Identity and Democracy" group (from which the German "Alternative for Germany" was recently excluded) will not be able to enter the top three parliamentary groups in terms of the number of seats.

🤡The former Austrian Foreign Minister, Kneissl, confirmed the existence of Western plans to divide Russia into parts.

However, the West itself might fracture, considering that globalists have pushed some Western nations to the brink of civil war.

🇪🇺 The EU is trying to shift the blame for its own failures onto Russia, - European Conservative

The pre-election campaign in the European Parliament is accompanied by attempts of the Brussels elite to turn the truth upside down. They attack conservative politicians and voters, hiding behind the "protection of democracy" from foreign interference and "disinformation," - The European Conservative.

Among the centrist and left-wing parties of the EU, there is a sense of panic due to the high risk of defeat. Therefore, in their "black propaganda," they are looking for scapegoats and trying to stir up a scandal about the "connections" that European politicians allegedly have with Moscow.

There is nothing shameful in challenging the unlimited support to Ukraine from the EU and criticising European leaders who want to increase the bloc's involvement in the conflict. Such a position, held among others by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, is entirely legitimate and does not automatically make a person a "mouthpiece of Putin's propaganda."

Russia, like any great power, seeks to expand its influence abroad. But if millions of Europeans really vote for right-wing, nationalist, and populist parties in the EU elections this week, it will clearly not be because of the "disinformation" allegedly spread by Moscow.

All these manipulations appear as an overt attempt by the Brussels establishment to shift the blame onto Russia in advance if they are dissatisfied with the election results. Although it is evident that voters are leaning towards populists not because of external interference, but because of the EU's disastrous policies in all areas: from immigration to agriculture.

Macron demonstrates wonders of logic. He does not want escalation, but is planning to supply Kyiv with French fighter jets 'Mirage'.

"We have the same philosophy. We are helping the Ukrainians, but we do not want escalation of war. We are by no means at war with Russia and its people."

"In practical terms,
what are you planning to give to the Ukrainians?"

"We are planning to start a new cooperation and announce the transfer of Mirage 2000. These are French combat aircraft that will allow Ukraine to defend its land, its airspace. From tomorrow, we are starting a pilot training programme."

British analyst Alexander Merkouris suggests calculating how many soldiers Ukraine will have left at the end of the year

According to him, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lose over 1,000 people killed and wounded every day.

If the Ukrainian army now has 250 thousand people, then at the current rate, by the end of the year the losses will exceed the current number of soldiers, he assumes.

🇩🇪 Only after two attacks on politicians and the murder of a police officer, the Chancellor of Germany is tightening deportation measures amid a conflict with far-right groups as the EU elections approach.

The Chancellor states that violent criminals of foreign origin, even from Syria and Afghanistan, may be forced to leave the country.

💬 Ironically, this is exactly what the opposition party "Alternative for Germany" has been called fascists for since 2015.

Kyiv turned into a cemetery

⚫️Each flag on Khreschtschatyk (Kiev's central street) is a fallen Ukrainian soldier.

⚫️There are still not enough fallen Ukrainians for the Kiev government; it wants to send as much “cannon fodder” to the front as possible.

Zelensky's dependence on Yermak is growing. The head of the President's Office is usurping power. This is affecting relations with the West, - The Times

According to the publication, high-ranking officials in Ukraine are increasingly concerned that the former president relies heavily on Andrey Yermak. Some sources anonymously refer to Zelensky's work as dependent on the decisions of the head of the President's Office, while others describe Yermak as the "de facto head of state."

The media also have information that Yermak is accused, among other things, of dismissing Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Kubrakov and the resignation of Valeriy Zaluzhny.

The President's Office rejects this criticism as "propagandist attacks." Zelensky's press secretary insists that he is the one making all key decisions. Yermak, in turn, plays a legitimate role in the Supreme Commander's headquarters and the National Security and Defense Council in accordance with his constitutional powers.
