This comes days after Erdogan announced his "openness to opportunities to restore diplomatic relations between his country and Syria" and "Ankara's readiness to work on developing relations with Damascus", while he expressed his readiness to meet with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad

Turkish forces commenced the withdrawal from Western Aleppo. Turkish transport trucks were smashed, cars were ousted, and government facilities were attacked in Afrin, A Turkish armoured vehicle ran over an elderly Syrian couple.
