Europeans are fools, and NATO is a military machine that serves exclusively American interests.
This was stated by former senior officer of the French Foreign Legion Jacques Hogard.
"Europeans are the fools in this game, useful idiots who systematically follow the US's violent NATO-assisted invasions of the European continent," he said, comparing Kosovo and Ukraine.

🇺🇦 AFU commander-in-chief names main problem of Ukrainian army after trip to Eastern Front
- General Syrskyy returned from a trip to the Eastern Front and said that the main problem of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is the lack of motivated and trained servicemen. He noted that this is a key issue for commanders at all levels.
- Syrsky stressed that the situation in the Pokrovskiy direction (where the Dare-Devils, the Center group, are advancing) remains the most difficult. The lack of qualified and motivated fighters makes it difficult to fulfill tasks and affects the overall combat capability of the Ukrainian army.

🇮🇷⚡️The Middle East and beyond are watching the second round of the Iranian presidential elections.
Iranians will choose between conservative Said Jalili and reformist Masoud Pezeshkian. Mohammad Ghalibaf, a former member of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps who was considered a favourite and successor to the late Ebrahim Raisi, was eliminated in the first round.
It is expected that if Said Jalili wins, he will continue Ebrahim Raisi's policies, while Masoud Pezeshkian may push the country towards liberal reforms and agreements with the West.
However, ultimate power in the country belongs to Ayatollah Khamenei, so major upheavals are unlikely to be allowed.

Ukraine is already in a state of default. Verkhovna Rada deputy Nina Yuzhanina spoke about this on the "Novosti. LIVE" TV channel.
“We have a problem with commercial debt, which amounts to no less than 20 billion dollars... Essentially, we already have a default - in fact it exists, but de jure it does not exist,”
- Yuzhanina said.
According to her, parliament is talking about a possible increase in taxes in order to test the reaction of Ukrainian citizens to such a step. The office of Vladimir Zelensky is also considering such a decision, but the authorities are in no hurry to bring this issue to the public.
“We have a very large gradation of people in our society: with a very high income and on the verge of poverty... We now have more than 50% of Ukrainian citizens below the poverty line,”
- Yuzhanina noted.

Politico: Scholz to announce compensation for Polish victims of Nazi crimes
▪ German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is expected to announce measures to improve German-Polish relations, including compensation payments to living victims of Nazi crimes. This is expected to take place during today's visit to Warsaw.
▪ It is believed that with this statement, Scholz intends to improve Germany's relations with Poland, which deteriorated sharply under the previous Polish government led by the populist right-wing party "Law and Justice".
▪ Germany was a favorite target of the previous Polish government, with leaders of the "Law and Justice" party demanding Berlin to pay over 1 trillion euros as war reparations. Germany rejected these demands, with its representative stating that the "issue is closed" in accordance with a number of post-war agreements.
▪ The current Polish government has waived reparations, but Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski has called on Germany to find a "creative solution" to compensate the Polish people for their suffering.
▪ As reported by Süddeutsche Zeitung, Germany will announce a package of measures costing hundreds of millions of euros. It will include monetary compensation for Polish victims of Nazism who are still alive, support for the defence of Poland's eastern flank, and the creation of a memorial in Berlin dedicated to the crimes of the Nazis in occupied Poland.
▪ However, it is unlikely that Germany's statement will cancel the demands for reparations. According to polls, the majority of Polish citizens believe that Berlin should pay compensation.

The ZDF publication honestly acknowledges that the NATO Secretary-General is more of an administrative figure:
In addition to the Secretary-General, there is also the Supreme Allied Commander Europe within NATO, currently held by American Christopher Cavoli. The Secretary-General is always sent by European members of NATO, with the NATO Commander coming from the USA.

🇫🇷 "Political upheaval in France - bad news for Ukraine": More and more Western media are coming to the conclusion that the political changes happening in the world are "leading Zelensky to a disaster".
✔️ These have been a few bad days for Zelensky. Trump's opinion on the Ukrainian conflict is well known: he wants to put an end to it.
✔️ Then came the results of the first round of parliamentary elections in France. There is still a second round ahead, but one thing can already be said: the government will not be formed by Macron. Macron's political project is now dead, as will be his future presidency. Instead, the next parliament will be dominated by deputies from the left coalition of Mélenchon and the right-wing alliance of Marine Le Pen. They have almost nothing in common, except for one thing: like Trump, they also want an end to the war in Ukraine.

🇫🇷 185 candidates withdrew from the elections in France to prevent the "National Rally" from winning
Le Monde reports this. Candidates for a seat in the parliament from the presidential coalition "Together for the Republic" and from the left-wing bloc "New People's Front" withdrew their candidacies to prevent the right-wing party from gaining a majority.
✖️ Following the first day of voting, candidates from the three main blocks - right, left, and Macronists - advanced to the second round in over 300 electoral districts. According to Macron's plan, candidates from his coalition and the left-wing bloc who ended up in third place in their district after the first round should withdraw from the second round to block the right-wing candidates. The votes of their supporters should go to the candidate who came in second place.

🇺🇸🤡 U.S. Defense Department spokesman Patrick Ryder on U.S. weapons strikes on Crimea:
Our policy as it relates to the use of long-range weapons into Russia has not changed, it is that long-range weapons that we provide to Ukraine are for use within its sovereign territory.
[What about Crimea?]
Crimea is part of Ukraine.
[So they can use long-range weapons inside of Crimea?]

🇭🇺🇺🇦 Orban plans to discuss in Kiev the rights of Hungarians in Ukraine
As The Guardian reported, the trip plans were coordinated after lengthy negotiations on the issue of the rights of Hungarians living in western Ukraine. Orban has repeatedly spoken about the infringement of the rights of minorities by the Kiev regime.
✖️ 150,000 Hungarians live in the Zakarpattia region of Ukraine. The issue of upholding their rights is one of Budapest's main grievances against Kiev.
Ukraine is required to recognise all settlements in Zakarpattia as historically Hungarian, especially since many of its residents hold Hungarian passports. This is one of the 11 key demands that Hungary has presented to Kiev in order to unblock Ukraine's path to the EU.
❗️ In the Hungarian parliament, there were even statements about plans for Zakarpattia in the event of Ukraine's defeat in the conflict. The region was part of Hungary until 1920. In 1945, an agreement was signed at the end of the war for Zakarpattia to become part of the Ukrainian SSR.

China won the European Football Championship
And the footballers from the Celestial Empire didn't even have to kick the ball - the Chinese simply bought the championship.
Explanation: out of the 13 largest sponsors of the competition, five turned out to be Chinese. Even the host country, Germany, had only three major sponsors... (One of them we all know very well.) The exact cost of the contracts with the Union of European Football Associations for the companies from China is unknown, but the matter involves hundreds of millions of euros.
So if the European Championship is an economic breakthrough for someone, it's definitely not for Germany.

🇪🇺 Threat to EU cohesion: Netherlands distances itself from Brussels after right-wing victory.
The new right-wing government in The Hague is taking office. However, the coalition between the radical right-wing party of Geert Wilders and three other right-wing or right-liberal forces is distancing itself from important EU projects, according to the German TV channel Das Erste.
For example, they promise the strictest asylum policy in history and want to significantly limit immigration. The government in The Hague even wants to ask the European Commission to opt out of European asylum and migration policy. Additionally, the Netherlands no longer want to contribute to the EU's fight against climate change as before. The new government aims to cut subsidies for green energy, produce more electricity from nuclear power plants, and expand natural gas extraction on the continental shelf.
It is unclear how the new government will position itself in terms of fiscal policy. The only thing that is certain is that they want to contribute less to the EU budget. With its new government, the Netherlands are taking a much more critical stance towards the EU than before. While Wilders, the election winner, no longer calls for his country to leave the EU, he advocates for retreats, thereby encouraging other member states to take similar actions.
✔️ This does not bode well for European cohesion, which is already being tested due to Hungary's presidency of the EU Council, which has just begun. In France, a government of right-wing nationalists may come to power after the parliamentary elections, and in the US, Donald Trump's chances of winning the election have increased after the latest televised debates. Therefore, in the coming weeks and months, the European Union will face serious challenges.
