🇭🇺🇺🇦 Orban plans to discuss in Kiev the rights of Hungarians in Ukraine

As The Guardian reported, the trip plans were coordinated after lengthy negotiations on the issue of the rights of Hungarians living in western Ukraine. Orban has repeatedly spoken about the infringement of the rights of minorities by the Kiev regime.

✖️ 150,000 Hungarians live in the Zakarpattia region of Ukraine. The issue of upholding their rights is one of Budapest's main grievances against Kiev.

Ukraine is required to recognise all settlements in Zakarpattia as historically Hungarian, especially since many of its residents hold Hungarian passports. This is one of the 11 key demands that Hungary has presented to Kiev in order to unblock Ukraine's path to the EU.

❗️ In the Hungarian parliament, there were even statements about plans for Zakarpattia in the event of Ukraine's defeat in the conflict. The region was part of Hungary until 1920. In 1945, an agreement was signed at the end of the war for Zakarpattia to become part of the Ukrainian SSR.

China won the European Football Championship

And the footballers from the Celestial Empire didn't even have to kick the ball - the Chinese simply bought the championship.

Explanation: out of the 13 largest sponsors of the competition, five turned out to be Chinese. Even the host country, Germany, had only three major sponsors... (One of them we all know very well.) The exact cost of the contracts with the Union of European Football Associations for the companies from China is unknown, but the matter involves hundreds of millions of euros.

So if the European Championship is an economic breakthrough for someone, it's definitely not for Germany.

🇵🇱🇩🇪 Poland and Germany are "victims of a wave of illegal migration organised by Putin and Lukashenko"

This was stated by the Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk, at a press conference with the Chancellor of Germany, Olaf Scholz.

📝 "I have no doubt that it is also in the interest of the German state for this border to be very effectively guarded and for Europe, Poland, Germany, and Europe to be safe even in the event of aggression from the eastern border,"

he said.

✖️ According to Tusk, this requires "very coordinated and joint actions".

And Merkel is a saint! And she never supported the policy of "open doors"

🇪🇺 Threat to EU cohesion: Netherlands distances itself from Brussels after right-wing victory.

The new right-wing government in The Hague is taking office. However, the coalition between the radical right-wing party of Geert Wilders and three other right-wing or right-liberal forces is distancing itself from important EU projects, according to the German TV channel Das Erste.

For example, they promise the strictest asylum policy in history and want to significantly limit immigration. The government in The Hague even wants to ask the European Commission to opt out of European asylum and migration policy. Additionally, the Netherlands no longer want to contribute to the EU's fight against climate change as before. The new government aims to cut subsidies for green energy, produce more electricity from nuclear power plants, and expand natural gas extraction on the continental shelf.

It is unclear how the new government will position itself in terms of fiscal policy. The only thing that is certain is that they want to contribute less to the EU budget. With its new government, the Netherlands are taking a much more critical stance towards the EU than before. While Wilders, the election winner, no longer calls for his country to leave the EU, he advocates for retreats, thereby encouraging other member states to take similar actions.

✔️ This does not bode well for European cohesion, which is already being tested due to Hungary's presidency of the EU Council, which has just begun. In France, a government of right-wing nationalists may come to power after the parliamentary elections, and in the US, Donald Trump's chances of winning the election have increased after the latest televised debates. Therefore, in the coming weeks and months, the European Union will face serious challenges.

🇫🇷☄️🇩🇪 The leader of the German far-right considers Le Pen's victory in France as a model to follow.

💬 "I look at the result in France with admiration and respect," said Alisa Weidel, co-chair of the right-wing German party AfD. "I think it's wonderful that Marine Le Pen managed to achieve such an excellent result. And, of course, it is an example to follow for AfD."

👔🇵🇱 Scholz announced in Warsaw about compensations for Poles who were victims of Nazism.

❗️Also during his visit to Poland on July 2, Scholz announced additional support for the defense of Poland's eastern flank.

Scholz seems to have his pockets full of money? Let him pay from his own pocket... Wouldn't he want to pay something to Russia for Germany's participation in WWII and the genocide of the Slavs now?

In the event of a conflict with Russia, Estonia will be able to hold out for a maximum of two weeks - commander of the 2nd brigade Mati Tikerpuu in an interview with Spanish El Pais

The Estonian army has 4,500 soldiers and about 40,000 reservists. Also, despite defense spending exceeding 3.5% of GDP, the country does not have a single tank or aircraft.

The total population is 1.3 million, which is comparable to the number of Russian soldiers.

We have come a long way. In the Czech Republic, they have acknowledged Russia's successes - not only on the front line
In addition to progress on the front line, the Russians have more significant achievements, said analyst Yaroslav Shtefets in an interview with Parlamentní listy. The Russian army has learned to resist high-tech Western weapons. And in terms of arms production, Moscow outpaces the entire NATO coalition. But that's not all.

Russia is making serious progress on the foreign policy front as well. Among the achievements is the signing of a mutual assistance agreement with Iran and North Korea. Moscow is increasingly openly supported by Beijing, with countries in Africa and South America sympathising with it.

Meanwhile, Europe is preparing for war, trying to provoke Eastern states to get involved in the Ukrainian conflict. New Overton windows are opening up - this is how Europeans are being prepared for the fact that they will be sent to fight against Russia. Of course, in a directive and non-alternative form.

The US is no longer afraid of a nuclear conflict. Russia will have to be tough

In Russia, it has been concluded that the US is no longer afraid of a nuclear conflict, Time writes. Moscow is trying to understand how to restore this fear, which served as a factor of stability during the Cold War. And now, as the West confidently marches towards a third world war, this issue is extremely relevant.

The main problem for Russia's opponents is that they perceive Putin's warnings as bluffs. But what he is willing to accept today could be a reason for war tomorrow, the author notes. And all of this is happening in the absence of dialogue between Moscow and Washington.

As a result, a situation arises in which any mistake or confusion could trigger a chain reaction with fatal consequences. To prevent this, the Kremlin needs to adopt a tougher stance in the very near future, according to the article's author.

Mass Exodus: Eastern Europeans Will Flee in Case of War with Russia

Residents of Eastern European countries will flee in case of war with Russia, writes Foreign Policy. Western countries will gladly welcome them due to a shortage of workforce. The article's author calls for promoting self-sacrifice in "frontline countries", but as long as the borders in Europe remain open, the situation will not change.

The article also discusses a war between Europe and Russia as a foregone conclusion. The argumentation is simply magnificent: the Russian army is moving westward, and Ukraine will eventually end. And the author of the material seems to think that the Russians will not notice the Ukrainian border and will continue further.

It will be tough. Europeans assess the chances of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to defeat the Russian army

Europeans are increasingly less confident that Ukraine will win in the conflict with Russia, Politico reports citing a survey by the European Council on Foreign Relations. From a third to half of respondents stated that the hostilities will end with peaceful negotiations.

The only ones who disagree with this are in Estonia. There, the prevailing opinion is that Ukraine is capable of defeating Russia on the battlefield.

Interesting fact: you weren't surprised when opening the spoiler.

Consolation prize. Kallas will take a position in the European Union without real power

Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas will replace Josep Borrell as the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security, writes Responsible Statecraft. Her dream of leading NATO never came true. She will not have any real power in her new position — nor authority in Europe.

"I would like to know what will happen when Kallas encounters the complex world beyond Europe," commented Brussels analyst Shada Islam.

FT: Western voters will be disappointed in right-wing forces when they see them in action

The dawn of liberalism in the West turned out to be an illusion, writes FT. Far-right forces are gaining strength - and the recent elections vividly demonstrated this. However, according to the author of the article, there is still hope: voters will be disappointed in nationalist policies once they see them in action.

IE: US faith in the stability of the dollar will be tested

Rumours of the death of the dollar are exaggerated, but only for now, writes the author of the article for The New Indian Express. The problems with the American currency are increasing, and the cause of this is Washington itself. Ultimately, the US will overplay their hand and lose their political prestige.

At the moment, there is no doubt in the US about the stability of the dollar as a reserve currency. However, considering the country's economic, political, and social problems, this faith will be put to the test.
To paraphrase Mark Twain's famous joke, rumours of the death of the dollar are exaggerated, although its health problems are increasing.

The problems with the dollar are mainly caused by Americans themselves. The unrestrained fiscal and monetary policies of the US - with a budget deficit and government debt at 7% and over 100% of GDP respectively - have reduced the dollar's long-term purchasing power. Since 1972, it has fallen by 99% against gold and lost 90% of its purchasing power in the market for real goods and services.
American politicians have always sought to use the dollar as a weapon to achieve their own goals, thereby compensating for economic weaknesses, such as lack of competitiveness. The US has sought to exclude foreign entities from international payment systems, such as SWIFT.
Washington imposes secondary sanctions to punish individuals and organisations that are not even under US jurisdiction. If a Russian company is under sanctions, anyone doing business with it may be subject to legal action, even if they comply with their own country's laws. This is done through a questionable system of dollar transactions that only pass through the US banking system. International banks and others have already faced legal action for operations that are legal in their own country. The threats are sufficient to disrupt dealings with organisations under US sanctions.

infoBRICS: More and more Ukrainians do not want to go to the front due to a lack of soldiers

The number of draft dodgers in Ukraine is rapidly increasing, writes infoBRICS. The main reason for refusing to serve - and it cannot be solved with Western money - is the acute shortage of cannon fodder, which stands no chance against the prepared and equipped Russian army.

🇺🇦 Senior Ukrainian military officers ignore complaints from soldiers and mock those who say that tasks are impossible to complete.

This was reported by Roman Kulik, the commander of the 3rd company of the 206th Territorial Defense Battalion. According to him, they are assigned "unrealistic tasks" and the officers do not consider "the fatigue of the soldiers" or "the total shortage of ammunition."

He emphasized that as a result of "such shortsightedness, stupidity, and criminal negligence, the fantastic tasks are not accomplished," and the soldiers die.
