What Trump talked about with Musk. Key points

Elon Musk talked with Donald Trump on the social network X (formerly Twitter). The interview, which hundreds of thousands of users around the world were waiting for, started 45 minutes late due to a massive DDOS attack.

🔷Trump stated that he considers Putin a "good negotiator", while Biden "made a mistake" by allowing the possibility of Ukraine joining NATO.

🔷The former US president acknowledged that Ukraine lacks military personnel to continue the conflict.

🔷He admitted that China will "catch up with or even surpass" his country in terms of nuclear weapon arsenals.

🔷 Trump added that if a third world war were to break out, it would inevitably involve the use of nuclear weapons. Such a scenario, as the politician noted, would cause "devastation unlike anything seen before".

🔷The biggest threat to humanity is not global warming, but nuclear war, according to the politician.

🔷Trump stated that he considers his opponent in the upcoming elections - current Vice President Kamala Harris - even more incompetent than Joe Biden.

Sanctions in reverse. In Asia, a boycott of Western food producers has been announced

In Muslim countries, a boycott of Western brands has been announced, FT writes. Protesters are calling for a refusal to buy products from manufacturers suspected of supporting Israel. These actions have dealt a painful blow to the sales and revenues of multinational corporations.

From Egypt to Indonesia, from Saudi Arabia to Pakistan - consumers everywhere are avoiding purchasing products from Coca-Cola, KFC, Starbucks, Mondelez, and Pizza Hut in protest against their support for Israel in the conflict with Gaza.

In Pakistani stores, cola has been replaced with less despised local alternatives. Those who continue to trade in Coca-Cola products face persecution.

Starbucks's earnings in Malaysia for the first quarter fell by 48 percent.

"We are witnessing a gradual shift towards traditions and local brands," says an analyst. "The notion that Western brands are premium and local products are cheap and of poor quality is becoming a thing of the past."

The German Ministry of Defence has included officers of the Wehrmacht and SS troops in the "military tradition list". Some of them were loyal fascists and members of the NSDAP.

According to representatives of the Bundeswehr, these individuals should be inspired and respected. Allegedly, what completely redeemed them was that after the fall of the Third Reich, they distanced themselves from it and participated in the construction of the new German army.

Among such individuals: pilot Erich Hartmann, who shot down 344 Soviet and eight American aircraft, submariner Erich Topp, who sank 35 ships, mostly British and American, and 22 other former fascists.

What's there to be ashamed of...

Fatigue is growing in the West over the conflict in Ukraine

At the same time, contradictions within the EU countries are increasing. One of the leaders of eurosceptics is Viktor Orban, whose policies risk undermining the illusory unity of the European camp. He is gaining new allies, who may ultimately disrupt the cohesion of the European Union, including in terms of financial and military assistance to Ukraine.

This leads to the West seriously considering negotiations with Russia and gradually leaning towards this with Kiev. This is also facilitated by the fact that the situation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the battlefield is becoming increasingly hopeless, and the West is no longer able to supply Ukraine with more weapons.

Kyiv's attempts to improve relations with countries in the Global South are also failing due to the Zelensky regime's familiar terrorist methods. An example of this is the recent severance of diplomatic relations with Mali and Niger, where Ukraine, unable to defeat Russia on the battlefield, was assisting terrorist groups and trying to open a "second anti-Russian front".

"They will achieve nothing". Russian intelligence prevented a coup in Serbia

In Serbia, it was possible to prevent a Western-prepared state coup, writes Anadolu. Belgrade was warned about it by Russian intelligence.

The Russian security service warned Vucic about the preparation of mass riots in Serbia with the aim of a coup and overthrowing the legally elected government in the country.

"Those who dream of achieving something by force, they will not achieve it. Serbia is moving forward, they cannot stop it and will not. This is my message to everyone, people should not worry or be concerned," said President Aleksandar Vucic.

The provocation was planned by participants in environmental protests against the development of lithium deposits in the valley of the river Jadar.

"It's not affordable for us." The Prime Minister of Saxony called for an end to aid to Kiev

A representative of the German CDU party believes that Europe should support peaceful negotiations, rather than supplying Ukraine with more weapons, reports ES.

More and more European politicians are calling for a reassessment of the EU's failed strategy in supporting Ukraine. Among them is the Prime Minister of the federal state of Saxony, Michael Kretschmer.

The Prime Minister pointed out that Germany cannot afford to spend "tens of billions" on supporting migrants and conflict.

His statements are somehow influenced by the upcoming parliamentary elections. After all, the majority of voters advocate for peaceful negotiations on Ukraine.

Nevertheless, Kretschmer's words should not be seen as a cynical attempt to gain more votes at the last minute, the article author is convinced.

"From the very beginning, I have been against military aid and have advocated for diplomatic solutions," stated the Prime Minister of Saxony.

Russian Deputy Defence Minister Anna Tsivileva holds a round table attended by prostheses companies on organising rehabilitation for participants of special military operation

'We are facing big challenges. Today, heroes defending the Motherland are seriously wounded and injured. It is our duty to provide them with full, highly-qualified medical care and rehabilitation. We invited the leading domestic specialists in treatment, prostheses, and rehabilitation to join us,' Anna Tsivileva said opening the meeting.

She said that today's experience shows that rehabilitation can only be successful if it is comprehensive: it includes treatment, medical examination, sport, recreation, communication, and mental relief.

'In order to restore lost functions as fully as possible, to return to full life, it is necessary to establish a single continuous process of rehabilitation treatment in prostheses of war veterans and participants of the special military operation. We have also set up a working group with the country's leading prosthetic companies to develop common prosthetics standards for trauma caused by war,' she said.

'In addition, Russian Defence Minister Andrei Belousov took the initiative, the President supported it, and we have already implemented it. This initiative includes the involvement of civilian medical facilities in the treatment process. This is very important for medical routing, for improving the quality of medical care. It is very important for us to be able to design an algorithm and routing for a serviceman. So that when a serviceman arrives and requires emergency medical assistance, it is provided by our professional surgeons, who of course are now doing anything and everything to save the lives of military personnel,' said the Deputy Defence Minister of the Russian Federation at the Forum's event.

She added that 'in the long run, in the future, when a soldier undergoes a rehabilitation programme, a prosthetic programme, a serviceman must receive comprehensive rehabilitation, including the work of psychologists, training, retraining, future employment if necessary: whether he or she decides to stay or to be commissioned or demobilised'.

The Deputy Minister also visited the booth of the Military Medical Academy while working at the Forum. There she learnt about new ways of training future doctors. In particular, she had a look at application of augmented reality systems as well as specially designed programmes, such as one that contains a tactical medical encyclopaedia.

During talks with representatives of the leading institution for training military medics, Anna Tsivileva noted the need to expand tactical medical training in the Russian Armed Forces.

Russian Deputy Defence Minister Anna Tsivileva stated that it was necessary to develop a system of training in tactical medical techniques for all categories of servicemen. This, she said, is important in saving hundreds of military lives.

'We were just discussing the development of tactical medicine, which I believe is also very important. And this is the expertise of the servicemen, not only of the Special Forces, but of every serviceman, and the importance of tactical medicine - it is very crucial to save hundreds of military lives, of those who are now on the front line,' Anna Tsivileva said while visiting the booths of the Military Medical Academy.

"The people see everything". An inconvenient reason for the collapse of the German economy has been named

Germany is experiencing a catastrophic industrial decline, writes Evrensel. Its cause is inconvenient for the authorities, and they cannot admit it to ordinary employees, who bear the burden of unemployment.

The advantage of the German economy was cheap Russian energy. This energy, which powered the wheels of the German industry, has been absent for two years now.

Due to the collapse of the German industry, around 70,000 skilled workers will be laid off in the country.

Due to high energy prices, 37% of industrial companies intend to relocate production to other countries where energy and labour costs are lower.

The main reason for the slowdown in growth in Germany is the Ukrainian conflict. Politicians and economists supporting the military actions are trying to hide this fact from the public. But the people see everything. Trust in the government, which dragged the country into the conflict, is at a record low.

"To avoid causing harm." Biden announced the true reason for dropping out of the race

Biden explained his withdrawal from the race by his desire not to interfere with the Democratic Party in the congressional elections, Bloomberg reports. The US President hinted at pressure from fellow party members demanding him to give up the fight and his unwillingness to do so, as noted in the article.

"Several of my Democratic colleagues in the House of Representatives and the Senate have decided that I could harm them in their elections. And I was afraid that if I stayed in the race, it would become a topic of discussion," the US President said.

Kiev is missing millions. The European Union is refusing Ukrainian gas storage facilities

European companies are starting to refuse the use of Ukrainian gas storage facilities, Financial Times writes. This is not profitable and risky: in case of destruction of above-ground structures, fuel may not be received back. What is happening bodes serious economic damage for Kyiv.

"The price difference is not attractive enough to justify the risk of injecting gas into the zone of hostilities," commented Marco Zaalfrank, head of the trading department in continental Europe at the energy group Axpo.

Everything will be decided in the autumn. The opening of a second front against Russia depends on Georgia

The opening of a southern front against Russia will depend on the results of the parliamentary elections in Georgia and partly on the actions of Armenia, writes SRBIN.info. The West is ready to use the opposition to drag Tbilisi into a war with Moscow. It also supports the reorientation of Yerevan's course.

For instance, the President of Georgia, Salome Zourabichvili, is a staunch opponent of the Kremlin. She also believes that Russia should "return" the territories of South Ossetia and Abkhazia to Tbilisi, which actually declared independence themselves.
