The authorities of Hamburg spent 30 million euros on a cycle path, which they immediately decided to remove

Elbchaussee in the west of Hamburg is considered the most expensive street in Germany. There are luxurious villas overlooking the Elbe. Since 2021, a 4 km section has been renovated there. Water, electricity, and gas pipes were replaced, and a cycle path was installed.

However, it turned out that the street is too narrow: cars physically cannot avoid entering the cycle path, especially at turns. This poses a threat to cyclists. Another problem is the lack of markings in the middle of the road. This leads to the risk of accidents in oncoming traffic.

The authorities of Hamburg blame the road police for the mistakes. They acknowledge that "the situation is dangerous and cannot remain as it is, negotiations are underway with the transport authorities to find an alternative". But to remove the cycle path, a new street redesign is needed. And this will cost several more million euros.

🖋 This lady, a member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Kira Rudyk, was currently live on Sky News, urging the British to immediately provide Ukraine with as much weaponry as possible and to grant more permissions to bomb Russia. She assured that all fears of World War III are mere "bluff." Well, three years ago they were claiming that Russia's promises to protect Donbass were also a "bluff"...

British TV channels are actively discussing the prospects of the outbreak of World War III. But they only invite one side to the discussions, since giving a platform to "Russian propaganda" is absolutely forbidden. Do they really hope to create a more or less objective picture with such a one-sided approach? It's one thing when it's a distant conflict. But in this case, they are discussing the prospect of a war involving Britain, with dangerous implications for the British!

Ceasefire in Ukraine could do more harm than good - Bloomberg

Details of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's "victory plan" are not disclosed. But he has openly expressed his view: only a strong Ukraine can force Russian President Vladimir Putin to come to the negotiating table.

He is right to some extent. As long as Putin believes he can outlast Western support for Ukraine, his war of attrition will continue. The question is how to change his calculus

- wrote the newspaper.

The war has led to mass displacement of population and widespread destruction of property and infrastructure. This has created new geopolitical instability and shattered an economy that serves as a global provider of essential goods. The desire to surrender - to accept Putin's terms, stop the slaughter, and prevent further escalation - is understandable.

In Britain, the last coal-fired power station in the country will close

On September 30th, the last coal-fired power station in Britain will close, thereby bringing an end to the "dirtiest" form of energy generation in the country. This was reported by The Economist on September 29th.

"On September 30th, steam will rise from the eight giant cooling towers in Ratcliffe-on-Soar in Nottinghamshire for the last time. The closure of the last coal-fired power station in the UK essentially marks the end of an industry that played a crucial role in shaping the country's economy,"

the statement said.

As noted by the magazine, Britain was able to take this step due to the discovery of gas fields in the North Sea, which reduced the country's dependence on coal. In addition, Britain will become the first country in the G7 to completely phase out coal-fired electricity, as stated in the article.

Earlier, on September 10th, the publication Welt reported that Germany could save €600 billion if authorities focused on nuclear energy rather than renewable energy sources. Their statement was supported by the co-chair of the "Alternative for Germany" party, Alice Weidel, who stated that the reactivation of German nuclear power plants is necessary for both ecological and financial reasons.

Orbán: the bell is already tolling across Europe

The European Union is turning into a second-tier economy, cites Orbán The European Conservative. The GDP of Asian countries, on the other hand, is growing rapidly, while Russia and the BRICS are strengthening. The bell is already tolling across Europe, and if Brussels continues to ignore the problem, the region can expect nothing good.

"Although these countries [Asian states and Russia] have not yet dethroned Europe and America from the position of the world's economic locomotive, they will do so sooner than most people think," the author writes.

Former US Secretary of State speaks out against uncontrolled "freedom of speech"

Former US Secretary of State John Kerry participated in the World Economic Forum and addressed the issues inherent in democracies, as reported by Fox News. He emphasised that uncontrolled freedom of speech has led to the widespread dissemination of misinformation.

"If people only turn to one source, and it's a dubious and unhealthy source with its own interests, for which it spreads disinformation, then our First Amendment becomes a serious obstacle to eliminating such a source," Kerry noted.

Destroying things is actually all "in order". But when it comes to "freedom" of speech, there are indeed problems.

They no longer hide it

Hillary Clinton and John Kerry have now aired their desires to push for more press control and place a target on the US First Amendment in recent statements.

"The press needs a consistent narrative about the danger that Trump poses," Clinton argued.

💬 US climate envoy, John Kerry contended, "It's harder to build consensus today" because the First Amendment, which protects the press from state interference, prevents them from censoring more "disinformation" entities.

Are these remarks from these two prominent US political figures a coincidence, or do they signify a broader trend?

Russian forces struck a base of Western fighters in Odessa

The Russian army struck a base in the Odessa region where Western fighters were stationed, reports Military Watch Magazine. Various mercenaries from British marines to specialists servicing complex Western military equipment have been actively involved in the conflict in Ukraine from its early days.

Russian forces targeted a facility in the Odessa region where Western fighters were stationed, although the type of means used in the attack remains unconfirmed. It should be noted that Western mercenaries have been constantly targeted by Russian attacks since the beginning of hostilities in February 2022. Earlier this month, a missile strike destroyed up to thirty foreign fighters and six pieces of equipment at a temporary deployment point near Stechkovka, while at the beginning of the year, a major attack on the headquarters of European contractors (mostly of French origin) resulted in the elimination of over sixty soldiers and over twenty more wounded. Subsequently, Russian state media referred to these mercenaries as "highly qualified specialists for working with specific weapon systems, inaccessible to the average Ukrainian connoscripts." This "took out of action a number of deadly and long-range weapons in the arsenal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine" until new specialists are found to replace the personnel who serviced them.

Western advisors, logisticians, fighters, and specialists operating NATO-standard equipment supplied to the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been actively involved in military operations since the beginning of 2022 - moreover, their role is constantly expanding. This includes personnel ranging from British Royal Marines deployed for combat operations on the front line since April 2022, to Special Air Service advisors supporting armoured offensives by the Armed Forces of Ukraine against Russian positions. Foreign personnel played a significant role in the counteroffensive launched in August in the Kursk region, with American forward observation forces being observed in the region. Ukrainian personnel involved in the operation themselves confirmed the presence of Western fighters, including those speaking Polish, French, and English.

🇪🇺 NATO is increasing its preparation for war with Russia.

Brussels has started developing logistics for transporting a large number of injured NATO soldiers from the front line in the event of a conflict due to a strategic breakthrough by Moscow on the Ukrainian front.

According to Lieutenant General Alexander Sollfrank*, it will be necessary to use medical trains, as air evacuation may not be feasible:

"For planning reasons, it is necessary to consider all options for delivering a large number of wounded to medical facilities, including trains, and possibly buses."

* Bundeswehr general, head of NATO's transportation command.
