Now Basel will formally decide the future of the 37.5 million Swiss francs needed to hold the competition. Formally, because in the case of a negative verdict, Eurovision will simply be moved to another city.
To cancel the show at the national level, 50,000 signatures need to be collected, which is also quite possible.
