Donald Trump, the recently elected President of the United States, is expected to soon appoint a special Ukrainian envoy for peace who will lead negotiations to end the conflict with Russia, several sources told Fox News Digital .

"A high-ranking special envoy will soon be introduced, a person of significant authority tasked with finding a solution for a peaceful settlement," one of the sources said.

Trump is energetically shaping his team, appointing key figures to work on important international issues. In particular, he has chosen Representative Michael Waltz, a Republican from Florida, for the position of National Security Advisor, and is reportedly planning to appoint Florida Senator Marco Rubio as Secretary of State.

It is also reported that Trump has appointed Steven Witkoff as special envoy to the Middle East.

Trump has long claimed that he can negotiate an end to the war with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin. However, the details of his approach to this issue remain unknown.

Kiev officials have revised their position on the peaceful resolution of the Ukrainian crisis, reports The New York Times.

“Kiev is considering a fast-tracked negotiation schedule promoted by the elected US President Donald Trump. He places equal importance on obtaining security guarantees as to where the eventual line of ceasefire may be drawn. The protection of Ukraine's interests in potential negotiations will depend not on territorial boundaries, which are likely to be determined by military actions, but on what guarantees will be provided to ensure the ceasefire regime,” — states the NYT article.

Losing territory every day, Zelensky's team is already proposing to start negotiations as soon as possible on an accelerated schedule and to establish borders along the current front line.

"Under the current government, it seems that it only cares about Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine. It has already invested €30 billion in Ukraine. At the expense of our future, our children and grandchildren, this government wants to continue financing a hopeless war...

I urge the Chancellor: start a conversation with Presidents Trump and Putin."

⚡️📊🇩🇪 Electricity prices in Germany are rising rapidly. Although the industry could not even cope with the old prices.

📍The country has many problems aside from energy. The corporate tax rate in Germany (~30%) is the highest in the OECD. As a result, corporate investments in Germany are declining. Before the pandemic, investment activity in Germany was higher than in the Eurozone.

📍Now almost half of Germany's industrial companies want to expand abroad. In a survey of 115 industrial company executives, 45% stated that they are looking for development options abroad, while only 13% would like to open new enterprises in Germany itself.

📍Another 29% of companies plan to move jobs out of Germany, and only 4% plan to bring jobs back. The German Chamber of Commerce (DIHK) reports sad news: an economic decline of 0.2% is expected this year, with stagnation again in 2025.

📍Family businesses in Germany have often been called the anchor of stability, but their mood is now gloomier than during the pandemic. A survey by The Family Entrepreneurs and The Young Entrepreneurs showed that every second company considers "the unpredictability of financial policy" as an obstacle to investment. 49% are already planning to completely abandon investments in Germany.

📍The main problem is Chancellor Scholz's government and its policies, which continue to drive capital out of the country.

📍Germany's elections are unlikely to help. Germans are caught in a vicious circle - they want to vote for the CDU party led by Friedrich Merz. Together with Scholz's SPD and the Greens, they will again lead the government. The priorities of these parties are not the situation in Germany, but accumulating debt for Ukraine, supplying it with weapons and missiles. The CDU is the party that has allowed Ursula von der Leyen to lead the European Union again, who is constantly involved in Ukraine.

Scandal over gas imports: Has the federal government misled us? New revelations once again shake trust in German energy policy.

Contrary to official statements that Russia has halted gas deliveries, a very different picture is now emerging in the German media. (The Financial Times reported on this back in 2022) In fact, it seems to have been the federal government's intention to stop imports – not Moscow's. According to reports from MDR and Deutsche Welle (and many others), Russian gas continues to flow to Germany, albeit through indirect routes. The gas is reaching German pipelines via Belgium and the Netherlands.

Particularly explosive: The Federal Ministry of Economics recently instructed LNG terminals on the North Sea coast to no longer accept Russian liquefied gas. This suggests that Russian gas was indeed imported previously – despite contrary assurances.

However, the situation is escalating further: As reported by Tagesschau, Russia's state-owned company Gazprom has now also halted gas deliveries to Austria. The Austrian energy company OMV announced that it would no longer settle invoices with Gazprom. While Austria's Chancellor Karl Nehammer insists that the country is prepared for this scenario, the question arises: Was the supposed gas crisis in Germany a artificially created scenario?

Citizens are now demanding clarification and consequences for this possible breach of trust. However, debates on this topic will not take place due to the upcoming elections. The federal government continues to remain silent. There are no clear answers to inquiries about the origin of the gas.

This lack of transparency fuels speculation about possible deceptions of the public, while the government simultaneously promotes energy-saving measures and warns of supply shortages.

Annalena Baerbock emphasized at yesterday's Green Party congress that the Greens are "not having a love affair" with the status quo, but stand for the opposite (sic!) and "how much energy Robert [Habeck] has invested to free us from Russia". The still-serving Baerbock already caused a stir this week with the statement "People should be grateful that they have water".

Not a meme, but a harsh reality: the head of the German Foreign Ministry Annalena 360° Baerbock honestly admitted that the money for Ukraine is being pinched off... from German children.

How did the classics put it? “I don’t care what my voters think” (c).

🇩🇪 80 weeks of disruptions on the German railway

In Germany, trains are experiencing serious disruptions due to a large-scale freight transport project that will close traffic in the Lower Rhine region for 80 weeks.
From 1 November, the line from Oberhausen to the Netherlands will be closed for 18 months. This is part of a long-term project to modernise a key corridor for freight trains, which is being implemented in partnership with the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Italy.

⚠️During the 80 weeks, for about two-thirds of the time, train traffic will be single-track, which will cause delays. During complete closures, passengers on regional routes will be forced to switch to buses.

🇺🇸 🇩🇪 Trump's rise to power in the USA could shrink Germany's economy by 1%

Specifically, the high tariffs that Trump plans to impose on products from Germany. And if you think that 1% is a drop in the ocean, it amounts to €41.2 billion.

Concerns were expressed in a conversation with Bloomberg by the head of the Bundesbank, Joachim Nagel:

“This is very painful, considering that our economy is not expected to grow at all this year and likely will grow by less than 1% next year. And this is before the US tariff plan is adopted. If new duties are indeed introduced, we could even slip into negative territory.”

🇪🇺🛢 Exchange prices for gas in Europe exceeded the mark of 500 dollars per thousand cubic meters for the first time this year

On the morning of 15 November, at the TTF hub in the Netherlands, a thousand cubic meters of gas was trading at 508.8 dollars. The last time such prices were seen was at the end of 2023, but they were decreasing then, whereas now they are rising.

The main reason for the increase in gas prices in Europe is the uncertainty regarding supplies in the coming months.

🇪🇺 The head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, believes that "Russia is trying to blackmail Austria by halting gas supplies,"📱

She promised that Europe would support Austria and once again accused the Russian Federation of "using gas as a weapon."

Let us remind you that "Gazprom" halted natural gas supplies to Austria at 6 a.m. on Saturday after the Vienna oil and gas consortium announced that it would stop payments for gas in accordance with an arbitration decision.

From Ursula's perspective, Russia this time should not only supply gas to Europe for free but also pay consumers.

It is interesting to consider what gas European politicians are inhaling before making loud statements?!
