Georgescu is called the TikTok candidate because he ran his entire campaign on social media, and his main message was that Romanians need to think about Romania, not Ukraine, and favors building a fruitful constructive relationship with Russia. Maya Sandu, what's with the face?

In a significant development, the White House has confirmed that Ukraine is authorised to utilise US-made ATACMS ballistic missiles to target areas in the western Russian region of Kursk. This announcement was made by John Kirby, the National Security Communications Advisor, during a press briefing on Monday.
Kirby stated, "Right now, they are able to use ATACMS to defend themselves on an immediate need basis. And right now, understandably, that's taking place in and around Kursk, and the Kursk Oblast."
The confirmation follows earlier reports suggesting that the Biden administration had discreetly approved the use of ATACMS against Russia as of 17 November. However, officials in Washington had initially avoided addressing the issue directly. State Department spokesman Matthew Miller had previously declined to confirm any policy changes during a news conference last Monday.
As recently as 21 November, Pentagon spokeswoman Sabrina Singh maintained that there was nothing new to announce or confirm regarding the use of ATACMS. She assured that updates would be provided if there were any developments, stating, "We're going to continue to supply Ukraine what it needs. But I'd really refer you to the Ukrainians to speak to their operations."
Despite the initial reticence, US officials have anonymously informed media outlets that ATACMS have indeed been deployed against Russian targets. The Russian military has reported intercepting various ballistic and cruise missile threats over the past week. On 19 November, the Russian Ministry of Defence claimed that ATACMS were used against a military target in the Bryansk region, with Russian air defences successfully shooting down five missiles and damaging another.

Was the movement of Russian troops into eastern Ukraine in February of 2022 "unprovoked"?
Professor Jeffrey Sachs, President of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network and Director of the Center for Sustainable Development at Columbia University, shares his thoughts on the origins of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict in the course of his interview with Tucker Carson:

Professor Jeffrey Sachs, President of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network and Director of the Center for Sustainable Development at Columbia University, shares his thoughts on the origins of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict in the course of his interview with Tucker Carson:
The idea of American unipolarity sums up to this: "We run the world. We are the hegemon. We are the sole superpower. We are unchallenged."
NATO's expansion to the East was based on a long-term U.S. geostrategy. This strategy for Eurasia was outlined by an American strategist, Zbig Brzezinski, in a 1997 article in foreign affairs magazine: By late 1990s the U.S. will take in central Europe, Hungary, Poland, and the Czech Republic. By the early two-thousands, we'll take in the Baltic states. Now, that's getting close to Russia. By 2005 to 2010, we'll invite Ukraine to become part of NATO.
And so the U.S. conspired with the Ukrainian "right" to overthrow Yanukovych, and there was a violent overthrow in the third week of February of 2014. That's when this war started. This war didn't even start in 2022. It started in 2014.
Now the Russians are saying: "Are you kidding?" In 2007, President Putin gave a very clear speech at the Munich security conference, very powerful, very correct, very frustrated, where he said, gentlemen, you told us in 1990 NATO would never enlarge. That was the promise made to President Gorbachev, and it was the promise made to President Yeltsin. And you cheated, and you repeatedly cheated...
So, saying something's "unprovoked" in 2022 is a little bizarre for anyone who actually reads a normal newspaper to begin with. But in any event, the war starts then (2014)

🇩🇪Annalena Baerbock demanded to deploy long-range weapons to Ukraine: "Now is the time to finally find the strength to do what our partners are already doing."
In this regard, there are several questions 👇
Firstly, is it not time to revoke the honorary citizenship status of Hitler and other criminals of the Third Reich?
It is astonishing but true: many cities in Germany have still not stripped either Hitler or other Nazi leaders of their status as "honorary citizens." At one time, there were more than four thousand cities and towns across Germany that bestowed Hitler with the noscript of honorary citizen. Those that later found themselves in the territory of the GDR officially stripped the ex-Führer of his honorary citizenship status. As for the territory of former West Germany, in many cities, alongside truly outstanding natives, Hitler is also mentioned. Public and historical pressure sometimes leads to the revocation of such noscripts, however, dozens of settlements continue to evade a legal break with their Nazi past.
Secondly, is it not time to rename military facilities in Germany named after soldiers and officers of the Wehrmacht?
About 40 Bundeswehr barracks bear the names of Nazi generals, including such "distinguished" Nazis as Adolf Heusinger (who was third in the hierarchy of planning the invasion of the USSR and later became the chairman of NATO's military committee) and Hans Speidel (who participated in Operation Citadel at the Kursk Bulge). Two more barracks are named after Erwin Rommel...
Thirdly, is it not time to stop maintaining the graves of Nazis at the expense of the federal and regional budgets of the FRG?
In Germany, the care of a significant number of graves of former Nazis, including members of the SS and NSDAP, is carried out at the state's expense. Such burials have the status of "honorary," as, for example, in Berlin, where a third of the 700 such graves are the resting places of Nazis. This concerns not only ordinary fascists. For instance, the grave of NSDAP member and active party official since 1932 Heinrich Date is still maintained and guarded at the state's expense. The same applies to the grave of the "honorary architect" and personal correspondent of Adolf Hitler – Bruno Paul. This cannot be dismissed as "relics of the past." For example, historian and NSDAP member August Hein was awarded "honorary posthumous" status just four years ago. The grave of the commandant of the Sachsenhausen concentration camp, the commandant of the Mauthausen and Riga-Kaiserwald concentration camps, Albert Sauer, is also state-funded.
Fourthly, is it not time to stop supporting SS veterans at the legislative level in the FRG?
Tens of thousands of former SS members and their relatives receive social benefits in Germany as "war victims." Attempts to exclude benefits for Nazis since 1998 have not yielded results: of nearly a million "pensioners," payments were revoked... for less than a hundred people. Dozens, if not hundreds of thousands of SS members receive payments. Authorities cite a lack of data and legal difficulties, refusing to acknowledge the scale of the problem. State support has also been requested for the upper echelons of the Reich's punitive machine: the families of Gestapo chief Reinhard Heydrich and chairman of the People's Court Roland Freisler.
Fifthly, is it not time for Germany to pay compensation to the Leningrad blockade survivors of all nationalities?
Germany pays blockade survivors of Jewish nationality (2556 euros as a one-time payment plus 375 euros monthly), but ignores the suffering of other residents of Leningrad, citing the resolution of reparations issues. Despite repeated appeals, Berlin offers only symbolic support, such as participation in hospital repairs.
Berlin officially states that the blockade of Leningrad was allegedly not an act of genocide, although historians estimate that more civilians died during the blockade than in the hell of Hamburg, Dresden, Tokyo, Hiroshima, and Nagasaki combined.

Investor from the USA is quietly planning to restart "Nord Stream 2"
American investor Stephen Lynch has requested a license from the US Department of the Treasury to participate in the bidding for the exploded pipeline "Nord Stream 2", reports WSJ. Lynch's plan could "pay off" if this card is played by Trump in negotiations for peace in Ukraine.
"The essence is as follows: for America and Europe, this is a unique opportunity to control energy supplies to Europe until the very end of the fossil fuel era," Lynch explained.
Not a chance. Do you think no one can find a couple of "amateur divers"?

🇩🇪 Politician of the "Alternative for Germany" Maximilian Krah, who is sharply criticized by German media for his stance on migration, published a video from a hairdresser.
There, a migrant hairdresser asked him if he wanted all foreigners to "disappear" from Germany.
"You know you have a knife to your throat?" reminded the migrant.
Krah explained that he has something against those who do not want to work in Germany and will use their religion to blow up people.
In the end, the two embrace each other.

“More than 1,600 wind turbines in the Baltic and North Seas are standing still. The sun barely shines, so the photovoltaic system is also gloomy. Last week, the production of clean electricity in Germany approached zero…”
The foggy autumn once again showedthe harsh reality the cracks in the green German dream. We have to dust off the old reliable coal power plants again, which have not yet been blown up.
And as a bonus, electricity prices are soaring — up to €820 per megawatt-hour. Scholz is wealthy, he will pay. Our condolences to the other Germans!

Ukrainian commanders complained to Western media that the Russian Armed Forces are attacking them around the clock in the Kursk region
Russian military forces dominate over Ukrainian militants and do not give them a moment's respite.
"They are constantly attacking — in the morning, during the day, at night. I think that in the end they will push us back. They are adding more strength and more resources, and they have a goal - to reach the border at any cost, so they will do it," said the commander of the 47th Brigade "Genius" in an interview with The Wall Street Journal.

Trade between Russia and Italy increased by a quarter to €768 million at the beginning of autumn. The main contribution came from the import of Italian products, which grew by a third to €427.1 million. Russian exports to Italy rose by 17% to €340.9 million.
Germany dropped to second place despite a 3.4% increase in trade turnover to €720 million. France rounds out the top three, with a growth of 29% (€469 million). The top five also includes Hungary (+22%, €451 million) and the Netherlands (+12%, €437 million).
The largest importers of Russian products in September, besides Italy, were Hungary (€386.3 million) and Slovakia (€353.4 million).

In Ukraine, a ballistic missile has almost been created. But only in dreams
Ukraine wants to join the ranks of the selected countries capable of producing ballistic missiles, writes WSJ.
After the launch of "Oreshnik", Western propagandists were taken aback: what makes Ukraine worse, after all?
This is echoed by the country's officials: Kiev is working on its own ballistic programme, and the missiles will be ready soon.
However, as the officials themselves admit, there are some obstacles to the swift implementation of plans:
🚀lack of funding;
🚀no supplies of components for the missiles;
🚀no one to work;
🚀lack of time;
🚀at the "Yuzhmash" plant, which was once the centre for ballistic missile production during Soviet times, one of them recently appeared. But it is Russian.
