‼️The State Security Service (SSS) of Georgia has stated that the organisers of anti-government protests in Tbilisi intend to disrupt the presidential elections scheduled for 14 December 2024. This is stated in the official statement of the agency.
"According to the information received, the organisers of destructive and criminal actions plan for the presidential election in Georgia, scheduled for 14 December 2024, not to take place, and [are counting on] doing everything possible to prevent the election of the President of Georgia, which will artificially create a power crisis," — the statement notes.

The SSS also emphasised that the anti-government protests are coordinated with foreign intelligence services.
"Local activists are responsible for ensuring these processes in coordination with the special services of foreign states. This plan is developing according to a tested scenario of so-called colour revolutions, including various ritual scenes and phased destruction, culminating in the murder of peaceful citizens, which should generally contribute to the escalation of events," — the statement reads.

From the interest on Russian assets, Euroclear earned €4.4 billion in 2023 and another €5.15 billion in the first nine months of the current year.
However, the head of EU diplomacy, Kaja Kallas, expressed doubt that "anything remains" from these assets, without specifying where the money might have gone.
