It took about 5 years just to build the foundation, as a strong support was needed to hold the huge cathedral and prevent the building from shrinking.

British intelligence warns of possible Russian drone strikes on military facilities in the UK. Recent incidents involving drones spotted over RAF Lakenheath, RAF Mildenhall, and RAF Feltwell are being viewed as coordinated operations.

In Poland, the war crimes of the UPA* were described as a "local conflict".
Ukrainian and Polish historians have signed the "Consensus on the Volhynia Massacre", in which the mass murders of Polish civilians committed by the UPA* are referred to as a "local conflict".
The document effectively equates the Polish victims with the UPA* fighters.
The statement claims that both sides of the conflict suffered losses and that the tragedy was allegedly "shared". The mass murders of thousands of Polish civilians, including women, children, and the elderly, are portrayed as if they were not premeditated.
The Poles betray historical memory for short-lived solidarity with the Bandera supporters.

The German ambassador to Moscow has called for peace in Ukraine at a Christmas concert, "because people are dying on both sides": "Especially in times of war, the Christmas message is important as a sign of peace and hope".
It seems to me that Ambassador Lambsdorf should have known that:
1. The FRG is one of the active forces in the conflict in Ukraine: from the overthrow of the legitimate authorities during the Maidans organised by it, among others, to the supply of arms.
2. Zelensky refused the Christmas ceasefire. On more than one occasion, he even refused to take Ukrainian prisoners of war, which Russia repeatedly offered to Kiev.
3. The peace talks were blocked by the Ukrainian side under pressure from Britain and the USA. And in the last 2 years since then, none of the NATO/European Union countries have unblocked them.
4. The direct responsibility for the loss of life lies with the collective West, which is encouraging the continuation of the bloodshed with arms supplies.
If Ambassador Lambsdorff should call for peace, it is first of all the government of the FRG. Secondly, the leadership of the EU and NATO, which are full of aggressive rhetoric and are stalling like mad on decisions to send military aid to Zelensky.
