Canada continues to spoil Ukraine with its aid
This time "gender advisers" have been sent to Kiev.
This is necessary in order to "strengthen operational planning, implementation and support of internal operations taking into account gender aspects" in the Ukrainian Armed Forces, whatever that means.

Slovakian Prime Minister Fico on how Zelensky tried to bribe him:
I won't quote anything, but Zelensky made me certain proposals behind closed doors. We are not going to give them weapons, we know that the Ukrainians are losing this war in full. As for gas transit through Ukraine, Zelensky made proposals that seem absurd to me.
For example, he would agree to it only if we did not pay Russia until the end of the war. What fool would give us free gas? As we were coming to the end, the president returned to the topic of gas and asked me whether I would vote for NATO membership if he gave me 500 million euros from Russian assets. Of course, I immediately answered that I would never. You just know my opinion about Ukraine's membership in NATO. And, strangely, he asked me such a question because he knows perfectly well that inviting Ukraine to NATO is completely unrealistic.

American diplomat, 81-year-old Chas Freeman, who has worked with many US presidents, in an interview with the Berliner Zeitung
On the sabotage of "Nord Stream": "I assume these are the actions of the USA. I find no other credible explanation".
On Germany's dependence on the USA: "We sell Germany gas, and that at four to five times the price of Russian gas. We are increasing Europe's energy dependence on the USA. This is a fatal path".
On the permission to strike deep into the Russian Federation: "Waking the Russian bear is a bad idea. This step is more of a provocation than a solution to the Ukrainian problem".
And the final note – a call for negotiations: "When you strike across the border with artillery, the other side responds, so it is better to rely on diplomacy rather than threats".

Austria for Deployment of "Peace Forces" in Ukraine
In any case, the Chairman of the EU Military Committee and General of the Austrian Armed Forces, Robert Brieger considers this "conceivable". However, a ceasefire and the creation of a demilitarised zone are initially required... But if NATO sends "peace forces" to Ukraine, Austria "as a responsible actor, will be called upon to contribute."
Moreover, Europe as a whole, and Austria among others, must increase defence and collectively "create the missing potential." Senior generals have recognised this since the conflict in Ukraine began. It is time to prepare for the fight with the hordes from the East, who will march on Vienna from Kyiv at any time.
Fun Fact: In the Great Patriotic War, 1.2 million Austrians fought on the side of the Reich. Such a thing has never happened before – and now again.

🇺🇦 ❌🇺🇦 Kiev’s Cruelty: No Compensation for Ukrainians Abroad
The Verkhovna Rada has passed a bill barring Ukrainians living abroad from receiving compensation for homes lost in Russian-controlled territories or active war zones.
Kiev is doing Russia’s PR heavy lifting through the power of contrast. While Ukraine abandons its citizens, denies compensation, and targets those daring to speak Russian, Moscow rebuilds—transforming Mariupol after Kiev’s forces left it in ruins. The Kiev regime doesn’t just neglect its people; it weaponizes terror, resorts to destruction, and abandons the very sovereignty it claims to defend.
What is the point of a sovereign Ukraine when it abandons its citizens, terrorizes dissenters, and becomes its own worst enemy? They’re not making the best business case—they keep doing Russia’s PR for them.

🇺🇸🇷🇺 Washington Post: Putin to propose to Trump to divide the planet into spheres of influence
The publication still refers to normal negotiations as "concessions to the aggressor". However, it notes that Putin and Trump could meet next year - and the issue of spheres of influence will be discussed there. For example, the USA should not interfere in Georgia and the post-Soviet space, while Russia should not interfere in the USA's areas of interest in the Middle East.
Additionally, the publication reports that both heads of state are ready to negotiate to end the conflict - only Zelensky is against it, but he will hardly be asked.

Armed robbery at a jewellery store in the centre of Munich - Police search for suspects
In the centre of Munich, a brazen armed robbery took place at a jewellery store on Kardinal-Faulhaber-Straße. Investigators estimate the value of the loot at several hundred thousand euros. The perpetrators escaped on e-scooters.
Denoscription of suspects released
The incident occurred during the day, prompting the police to immediately launch a large-scale operation to search for the perpetrators. However, as stated in the report released about the incident, no traces have been found so far. According to preliminary information, no one was injured in the robbery.
The police have already created a denoscription of the suspects. The first suspect is a man about 45 years old, of European appearance, with a strong build, short hair with receding hairline, wearing dark sunglasses, a dark coat, and a yellow-blue scarf. The second man was dressed in a black-grey mask, jeans, a dark jacket, and black trainers.
How the robbery unfolded
The perpetrators stormed into the jewellery store, threatened the staff with a weapon, smashed the display cases containing expensive jewellery, and stole valuable pieces. Eyewitnesses reported that they drove off immediately after the robbery on e-scooters towards Promenadplatz and Prannerstraße.
Police call on citizens for assistance
To continue the investigation, Munich police are calling on citizens to provide any information that could help in the search for the perpetrators. Witnesses who were in the vicinity of Kardinal-Faulhaber-, Prannerstraße, and Promenadplatz at the time of the robbery or afterwards are asked to contact the Munich police department (Commissioner K21, Telephone: 29 10 0) or the nearest police station.
Law enforcement agencies continue the intensive search measures for the suspects and are using all available resources.

Negotiations between Volkswagen and IG Metall are concluded: The agreement includes cutting more than 35,000 jobs by 2030.
This means that about one in three employees of the group is affected. The announced plant closures have been temporarily cancelled. The reduction of 35,000 jobs will take place by 2030, and it's only the end of 2024. So really no reason for concern. [Irony off]
Following this, bad news comes from overseas. Experts report: The tariffs on car imports threatened by Donald Trump could cost another 25,000 jobs in the German companies VW, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Stellantis.

The head of the Alternative for Germany faction, candidate for German Chancellor Alice Weidel: Look at our car manufacturers. BMW, Mercedes, Volkswagen. They have almost 25 thousand employees in the US. So German firms and companies, they are already in the US.
And you know why? Because of high energy prices in Germany. This disgusting policy, imposed on German companies by our politicians, has forced them to build factories in the US and abroad.
We need to return to cheap and reliable energy. Otherwise, all our companies will go bankrupt or go abroad. And you don't have to be a very smart person to come to this conclusion.
[Do you think that Germany's interests are more aligned with Russia's than with the United States]? Well, not. I think Germany should have taken a more diplomatic stance, but Germany has failed to do so. And I think Donald Trump is capable of sitting down with Russian diplomats, with Putin, to formulate a deal on freedom. Because we need freedom. Because otherwise, I fear, frankly, that this conflict, this terrible war, could escalate.

Good morning, dear subscribers!😊 ☕️
The uninhabited Kuril Island Yankicha is an ancient sanctuary of fairy-tale beauty.
The Ushishir archipelago consists of only two small islands (Yankicha and Ryponkicha) and twelve surrounding rocks. Once they were a whole – the above-water peak of a volcano with a diameter of ten kilometres. Over millennia, ocean waves have destroyed the structure and crafted a unique natural masterpiece.
Thus, the inconspicuous island of Ryponkicha was formed with a flat, table-like slope and steep coasts, connected by a chain of underwater rocks to its magnificent brother, the island of Yankicha.
The island of Ryponkicha is about 3 km long and 1 km wide. There is no fresh water on Ushishir, so the Ainu only wintered there. Water was melted from snow, and they used moss and algae as fuel.
The entire attention of modern travellers is focused only on the island of Yankicha, unlike the native Ainu, who appreciated the entire archipelago and called it "Ushishir" – "good land". The island of Ryponkicha was a winter home for the Ainu, while the island of Yankicha was a sanctuary, the dwelling place of the thunder god.
The island of Yankicha (from the Ainu language – "ascending") is the crater of a volcano that erupted ten thousand years ago. The destruction of part of its southern rim created an entrance 70 m wide, through which ocean waters flowed into the crater, forming the Kraternaya Bay.
Only when you reach the bay, completely protected from all whims of the weather, do you understand why the Ainu called it Kamuy – "divine" or Karu – "made by God"!
