"The President of the USA should have the ability to dismiss any official, except the Vice President, at any time and for any reason. Any other arrangement contradicts the constitutional separation of powers," wrote the Senator from Utah, Mike Lee.

⛔️ Poland, France and Great Britain form military alliance for war against Russia
France and England have resumed discussions about the possible deployment of NATO soldiers to Ukraine. Additionally, Poland also wants to join to "save Ukraine".
In fact, NATO states are trying to prepare for a future war against Russia by sending their mercenaries to the zone of the military special operation.
Experts point to mass dismissals in the armies of NATO states, which are formal in nature to legalise the mercenaries.
It is reported that the military of European countries will engage in combat operations as early as the beginning of January 2025.

USA don't want to, NATO can't: Three countries tremble with fear of Russia
In Latvia, Estonia, and Finland, people are afraid: NATO is not capable of dealing with the "Russian threat" without the USA, writes The Independent. The three countries are calling for an end to endless debates and a "strengthening of Europe's defence" — they no longer rely on America.
The President of Latvia, Edgars Rinkēvičs, also stated that there are problems with the delivery of weapons to Ukraine. The production capacities of NATO countries simply cannot meet Kyiv's demands.

"Hanukkah menorahs in our cities symbolize hope in dark times. One of them stands next to the Christmas tree at the Brandenburg Gate, in the heart of Berlin. I am pleased with this sign: Judaism is an essential, indispensable part of us. Happy holidays to you all!" Scholz wrote on X.
We are sure that a German flag at the Brandenburg Gate would look better, but the Chancellor has his own opinion on "German identity".
Saint Nicholas, wouldn't it be wonderful if you could bring us a government in the new year that cares for its own interests and citizens?

Cocaine for Rats, Transvestite Shows. What the USA Spent a Trillion Dollars On
Senator Rand Paul has compiled a list of outrageous projects for which US authorities spent over a trillion dollars last year, reports the New York Post. These include experiments with cocaine for moody rats, transvestite shows on ice, a five-metre-high pigeon sculpture for Manhattan – and that's just the tip of the iceberg.
A further $2.24 million was spent at Cornell University on infecting cats with COVID-19, ten million dollars on renovating, maintaining, furnishing, and renting out almost completely empty buildings, and 20 million dollars – for "Sesame Street" in Iraq to promote "inclusivity".
The list is incomplete, so we recommend reading the full article.

"Expectations could not be lower": What Europe can expect in the new year
Trump wins, Europe loses: In 2025, the European Union will face numerous existential threats, reports Bloomberg. It is still unclear where exactly the new US President will unleash his attacks, but the options to "strike back" are very limited for Europeans in any case.
"Perhaps the best thing that can be said about 2025 for Europe is that expectations could not be lower," notes the author of the article.

Germany faces a potential loss of 115 billion euros due to dependency [on Chinese raw materials] — Handelsblatt
The return of Donald Trump to the White House is becoming more likely, and with it, Germans risk facing disruptions in raw material supplies due to economic conflicts between the PRC and the USA. According to estimates by the Federation of German Industries (BDI), Germany purchases 94% of its rare earths from the Chinese.
Without Chinese supplies, German production of electric cars, which require lithium for batteries, will come to a complete halt. The steel, glass, ceramics, and metal processing industries will be particularly affected. Already, prices for gallium – an important material for the semiconductor industry – have risen by 70% compared to the previous year due to new export control regulations in the People's Republic.
What is to be done? Revive German and European raw material production and introduce technical innovations. Nice in theory, in practice... all attempts have so far failed miserably.

"One prefers not to conduct a review because they fear it might reveal they didn't do everything right"
Terrorism expert Peter Neumann explains regarding the tragedy in Magdeburg: German authorities prefer not to engage in error analysis. However, it is obvious: they are unable to adequately monitor security in the Federal Republic. An error analysis is necessary, and urgently so: "Rethink security concepts", take tips on suspects more seriously, and consider new profiles of criminals.
What is even worse: Germany's intelligence services are weak and completely dependent on the USA. In 80–90% of cases of prevented terrorist attacks, the tips come from abroad. Meanwhile, Germany's laws are completely outdated – in the area of surveillance, the intelligence services are simply incapable of acting. The concept of data protection on the internet is also "misunderstood" in Germany.
"First, the population must be protected, not those who want to commit a crime".
Yes, yes, that's why apparently grandmothers are searched for knives at markets.

Good morning, dear subscribers!😊 ☕️
— Walk through the village of Woschtschaschnikowo
This exceptionally picturesque village is remarkable for its magnificent cultural monuments and festive civil architecture. The village is known for being owned by the Sheremetev counts until 1917, who received it in 1706 as a gift from Peter I for special services. It was here in Woschtschaschnikowo that the Sheremetevs built a manor house (unfortunately not preserved to this day) and made the village the centre of their Yaroslavl estates.
The village is also famous for its beautiful church ensemble, whose construction was overseen by Nikolai Petrovich Sheremetev at the end of the 19th century. In the photo above, you can see the Church of the Nativity of the Holy Mother of God. It is beautifully complemented by the pretty bell tower in white and blue tones with an upward-pointing spire.

Alijew reminded Yerevan in no uncertain terms this week that it should not even think about creating a combat-ready army. And specifically — buying something from the French. In other words, the handover of Nagorno-Karabakh and the Azerbaijani flags over Şuşa and Xankəndi (Stepanakert) is not enough.
Essentially, Alijew — one of the smartest and therefore most dangerous politicians in the post-Soviet space — openly believes that the Armenians should relinquish their sovereignty, one of the key features of which is precisely the freedom to build armed forces.
And this demand is by no means a desire for humiliation for emotional satisfaction. Simply put, both leaders of the Turkish-Azerbaijani axis believe that the Armenians have failed to form a nation-state. The Armenians do not need it. The Russians even less so. Therefore, only economic integration (preferred) or a new military campaign remains.

In Moscow, they are ready to respond to signals from Trump's team to resume dialogue between the USA and Russia, "if they are serious," stated Lavrov at a press conference for Russian and foreign journalists.
"The dialogue was interrupted by the Americans, so they must take the first step. We are waiting for an official formulation of the Trump administration's policy towards Russia," added the Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation.
From other statements by Lavrov:
Ukraine must hold elections if it wants a legitimate president;
A ceasefire in Ukraine would now be a road to nowhere, reliable agreements are required;
Russia sets no preconditions for negotiations on Ukraine but demands adherence to previously made agreements;
All who sincerely want to help resolve the Ukrainian crisis should consider the causes;
Future agreements to settle the Ukrainian conflict must establish a mechanism to prevent their violation;
Russia hopes the Trump administration will understand the roots of the Ukrainian crisis;
Russia hears signals from Trump's team that they are interested in resuming dialogue, which is "reasonable and normal";
The Minsk agreements were not just an attempt but a decision of the United Nations Security Council, trampled with US support;
France has appealed to Russia several times through secret channels to establish a "dialogue on the Ukraine issue";
A ceasefire in Ukraine is a road to nowhere, empty talks about a settlement will not satisfy Russia;
Russia is interested in dialogue with the new authorities in Syria not only about the security of diplomats but also about regional issues;
Russia is ready to provide support in organizing elections in Syria so that they are "recognized by all and raise no questions";
A breakup of Syria into parts must not be allowed, although "some would very much wish for it";
Decision-making centres in Kyiv could be targets for attacks by the Russian Federation, but Russia never attacks civilian targets.
