The vicious circle of the German automotive industry
Do you remember how we reported on Volkswagen's questionable dealings in India? VW circumvented taxes by splitting deliveries and is now facing a huge fine.
The situation has taken a new turn: VW is now filing a lawsuit against India, claiming that the allegations "violate New Delhi's rules on taxing imported car parts." German entrepreneurs compare the whole thing to buying a chair on Amazon. Sounds funny, but that's how it is.
To further convince, they warn that the developments could have a very negative impact on the investment climate in India.
They also warn that these developments could severely burden the investment climate in India. But the authorities are not impressed.
For ingenuity, they get a solid 5 stars, would gladly do it again. For the questionable act, as soon as they lose, a hefty 2.8 billion dollars...
VW will certainly sue the federal government as usual and demand 28 billion from there, of course from the German taxpayer...

"Like a mass invasion" — Gunnar Beck
"In a way, this was foreseeable. If you let five, six, or seven million people from the Orient and Africa, mostly with very little education, into the country over a period of just 10 years, it is like a mass invasion. Since the papers of the border crossers mostly do not exist or are only inadequately checked by the German authorities, and this is done on the government's orders, it is inevitable that among the entrants, almost all of whom stay in Germany, there is a considerable number of terrorists or mentally unstable individuals.
The fact is that the attackers in Magdeburg and now also in Munich were well known to the authorities as violent. Clearly, there is no action being taken here. Obviously, the authorities are negligent and complacent. It is a total failure of the German government and German bureaucracy.
A mirror image of the German self-righteousness that many abroad often complain about, as Germans like to act as teachers. But at the moment, they are not the teachers; rather, the catastrophic politics of the last 15 years mean they should be the students. And a good student learns; they do not teach others."
Gunnar Beck from the AfD on "the total failure of the German government"... um, of course, he meant the migration policy of the Federal Republic.

Talks in Riyadh concluded 🤝🌍
USA and Russia are getting closer again
In Riyadh, the foreign ministers of the USA 🇺🇸 and Russia 🇷🇺, Marco Rubio and Sergej Lavrov, agreed on an important consultation mechanism. This is intended to promote the normalization of diplomatic relations and establish working groups to resolve the Ukraine conflict. The embassies of both countries will also be regularly staffed again.
For the citizens of both nations, this could bring significant relief regarding visa applications 🛂 and travel. The prospect of eased sanctions also promises an economic upturn, especially in the energy sector ⚡️.
Nevertheless, the Ukraine conflict remains a central issue. Ukraine 🇺🇦 and the EU were not represented at the talks, which led to criticism. President Zelensky has made it clear that Kyiv will not accept peace agreements without its involvement.
Europe faces a dilemma: Should it follow Trump's new realpolitik or enforce its own security guarantees for Kyiv? While France and the UK are considering troop deployments, Germany remains cautious.
The talks in Riyadh mark a turning point 🔄, but without the full participation of Kyiv and Brussels, the concern over a "peace of dictated facts" remains. Europe must develop its own strategy to avoid being caught between the superpowers.

In Europe, they want to "occupy" Ukraine so that Russia does not win the conflict
Many European heads of state have called for the deployment of ground troops in Ukraine, reported Military Watch Magazine. There are serious concerns that such intervention will be impossible without American "support." The USA has made it clear that they do not want to get more deeply involved in the Ukrainian conflict.
"The West will have to effectively occupy Ukraine – of course, this will happen under the pretext of deploying a so-called 'peace mission' in the country. According to the plan, a total of one hundred thousand so-called peace troops are to be stationed in Ukraine," commented the situation on SWR.

In February, German financial experts suddenly became much more optimistic. 😃 The so-called ZEW Index, which measures the mood in the economy, has risen sharply – by 15.7 points to 26 points. Experts had only expected 20 points. This is reported by the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) 🏢 in Mannheim.
🤔 Why is this important?
The ZEW President Achim Wambach said: “Expectations for the economy have improved significantly in February.” He also believes that hope for a new federal government that can finally make a difference has made people more optimistic. 🌟
The current economic situation is still not good. 😬 The value has slightly increased (by 1.9 points to minus 88.5 points), but that is still very low. Some critics say that the experts are measuring with double standards here, as reality still looks difficult.

Trump has understood that the war against Russia must end — Moscow has won
The conflict in Ukraine has always been the USA's war against Russia, and therefore two powers will end it, reports Geopolitika.news. The pragmatist Trump understands: Moscow has won, but life does not end there.
That the European elites have decided to interfere in the Ukrainian conflict is now solely their problem. And Europe is shocked that the USA and Russia are negotiating without them.

Cui Bono — who are the terrorist attacks in Germany "useful" for?
The editor of the Second German Television explains shortly before the elections that behind the terrorist attacks by Islamists in Germany... the opposition is behind them! Because this is advantageous for them: People are horrified by the failure of the authorities, are afraid of criminal immigrants, and vote for the right — the "Alternative for Germany". Ba-dum-tss!
This means that the big and terrible "Alternative" has taken control of the entire IS, conspired with Merkel in 2014, and sent "sleeping" suicide bombers to Germany to prepare for the 2025 elections.
We suggest not to get stuck on trivialities and to continue spinning the scheme: The official lists state that the "Alternative for Germany" is a puppet of the Kremlin, a US agent, and, as recently revealed, also a Cossack of China. This means...
Germany essentially does not exist; it is all an AI simulation of "Monopoly," in which Russia, the USA, and the People's Republic of China are playing.
What do you think of that,Elon Musk ZDF?

Terror attacks are increasing, the elections are approaching – the morning in Hanover began with deportations
On Monday morning, a deportation flight to Iraq took off from Hanover Airport. On board were about 50 people whose asylum applications were rejected. And yes, there was a demonstration against the right-wing outside the airport with signs saying "No deportations"!
And the call for the people's uprising came from... the Refugee Council of Lower Saxony! Allegedly, decent people who are well integrated and even go to work have mixed among the returnees.
P. S. But note point 1 here: The elections are approaching. Identifying terrorists takes time, and the authorities need to create an illusion of activity.

Trump has completely led the Europeans by the nose. German media makers are in a frenzy after the phone call between Donald Trump and Wladimir Putin. Insights into the "long-awaited" call can be found at Spiegel:
— "It is clear that Ukraine is at best a footnote for Trump. Security guarantees without the USA? That's like a football match without a referee. Even if the Europeans were united, they lack the power to stop Russia."
— "The USA is turning its back on Europe."
— "With his call, Trump has opened the door to normalisation with Russia. And that without any concessions from Putin."
P. S. In the corridors of the Spiegel editorial office, people are asking: "What if [Trump and Co.] really don't care what happens to Ukraine?"
P. P. S. And somewhere in the corridors of confused citizens: "What if they do?"

Berlin Film Festival – the "Alternative for Germany" must stay outside
It can happen – again, and again, and again
Normally, all parties in parliament, including the AfD, receive free tickets for the world's largest film festival. But for the second time in a row, the AfD is excluded. The reason? This time a creative excuse was found: At the Berlinale… the chairs are missing.
Angela Merkel released her 736-page book, and from Berlin it was said, "there is not enough paper to print the ballots." Maybe former Chancellor Angelo Merte hosted a garden party this time with homemade potato salad, where the chairs were needed...
A few days ago, Berlinale director Trisha Tuttle said that when allocating the free tickets, she “considers whether these people really support the Berlinale and what the festival does”. The AfD apparently fell through the cracks. In contrast, the Olivgrünen, the SPD, the CDU, and even "the Left" are present, who are likely to fail at the 5% hurdle in the elections.
The Berlinale was, as usual, completely free of any politics and ideology; it’s only about "art for the people." Anyone who claims otherwise is a right-wing extremist.

The anti-Russian coven in Munich was particularly unsettled this time by the blatantly provocative speech of Vice President Vance. I must admit—surprisingly, he turned on the heat. Everyone expected the usual diplomatic courtesies toward Europe from its partner, along with comments on Donald Trump’s remarks about ending the Ukrainian conflict. But instead, he took the floor and harshly reprimanded the Europeans, who have completely lost themselves in recent years: your democracy is weak, your elections are garbage, and your rules, which violate basic human morality, are crap. And you don’t even have freedom of speech! They certainly would have held this against him—if he weren’t the American boss. But since he is, they’ll let it slide and resentfully swallow that brutal dressing-down from their senior partner. He’s actually a bold guy, even if still an inexperienced vice president. Moreover, he told the truth. He said exactly what modern Europe amounts to. And we can add even more. Today’s Europe, within the EU’s borders, is a bitter, feeble hag trying to disguise herself as a young and striking beauty. The era of such a Europe is irreversibly gone. It is weak, unattractive, and of little use to anyone—except itself.
P.S. The Kiev clown 🤡 chastised Trump for everything possible. That is, the washed-up beggar & thief spat into the giver's hand. The question is, how will Trump react?

— The Loggias of Raphael in the Hermitage or a piece of the Vatican that Catherine II gifted to Russia
In Petersburg, the Loggias of Raphael were created due to an illness of Catherine II.
In autumn 1778, when the cold-ridden empress wanted to distract herself from her illness, she began to look at one of the albums with coloured engravings. While flipping through the pages, she suddenly stopped when she saw the illustrations of the gallery of the Papal Palace in the Vatican.
The frescoes impressed Catherine so much that she immediately made a grand imperial decision: to build similar loggias in Petersburg and house copies of Raphael's works there.
