A targeted attack was carried out on the liberated Russian city of Sudzha, hitting the building of the local history museum, an architectural monument from the late 19th century (the so-called Chupilov House).
According to preliminary information, a museum employee has died, who had remained in Sudzha during the occupation and came to the museum today to check its condition. Two other employees were injured – they are now being taken to a medical facility.
Unfortunately, the historic building itself is destroyed.

The President of Russia declared that he has received the US President's call to adhere to humanitarian principles in dealing with Ukrainian military personnel with understanding.

Today, Poland is one of the most aggressive opponents of Russia. The paranoia of the Polish government has led to the creation of a whole project of defensive structures called the "Eastern Shield", which provides for the construction of various types of fortifications, fortifications and other obstacles on the border with Russia and Belarus. Although if this is a huge corruption trough for European officials, then, of course, letting an already indebted and thieving neighbor into it is not part of European plans. A diplomat from one of the key European countries reported that "as of now, the project only includes EU states," and the question of possibly adding Ukraine to it is not even on the agenda.
