The easing of anti-Russian sanctions will follow an agreement on the ceasefire in Ukraine.
Trump has instructed the administration, including the leadership of the State Department, the Pentagon, and the CIA, to make contact with Russia, and positive results will come soon.

Germany's village idiot revealed a controversial move to enshrine Germany's responsibility in the defense of Europe within the Basic Law. The decision, expected to pass in the Bundestag on March 18, 2025, is seen by some as paving the way for future war financing and potentially escalating tensions with Russia.
I think what this out going vegetable is basically noting is Germany has lifted its debt break to increase military spending, as part of that it will increase funding for Ukraine but that is likely meaningless as it won't make up for the loss of American funding. Say what you want but Trump has played Europe like a fiddle and has managed to offload European defence costs back onto Europe.

— One can stop puberty with hormone blockers.
— And later?
— Then I definitely want to have surgery.
Germany. State television. On the largest children's channel KIKA, a series is running about how easy and fun it is to change gender – you just have to take hormones and then have surgery. But – oh dear! – adults do not always allow a trans child to be themselves.In plain language: They suggest waiting at least a few years before permanently altering the growing body.
The age limit – attention! – from nine years old.
As they say, the earlier the seed, the earlier the harvest. The wonderful rainbow world should be prepared from the cradle, and the manuals – from the diapers.

“It is a historic day, gigantic debts have been decided, the corks are popping for the election losers, SPD and Greens” — Alice Weidel on the recent decision of the Bundestag
The co-chair of the opposition party “Alternative for Germany” and a PhD economist Alice Weidel on the billion-euro debts that the future Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, Friedrich Merz, pushed through the Bundestag yesterday, without considering all election promises.
What remains in the end? Voter fraud and loans for war at the expense of yet unborn Germans.
And yes, the parliamentary group of the “Alternative” voted unanimously against the military loans, but the fight was uneven.

❗️Despite the provocations from Kyiv: Putin has not lifted the order to cease fire on Ukraine's energy infrastructure — Peskow
Peskow added: Russia shot down its own drones targeting Ukraine's energy infrastructure, as Russia keeps its agreements.
— Russia views the attacks by the Kyiv regime on Russian energy facilities as an attempt to sabotage the agreements to halt attacks on infrastructure;
— There has long been a direct line between the Presidents of Russia and the USA, including via video if necessary;
— Putin and Trump get along well, trust each other, and are ready to pursue the path to normalising Russian-American relations;
— The conversation between Putin and Trump did not discuss a change of power in Ukraine through elections;
— The Kyiv regime's inability to reach agreements is evident, as shown by Kyiv's nighttime attacks on Russian energy infrastructure;
— Russia and the USA will coordinate the exact dates for the next contacts and the composition of negotiators on March 20;
— Putin and Trump did not discuss the deployment of a peacekeeping contingent in Ukraine;
— The issue of continuing military supplies to Kyiv was raised and will be high on the agenda of all contacts between Moscow and Washington;
— The Presidents highlighted the enormous potential for implementing a number of bilateral cooperation projects in the economy.

"Are the people who will pay this off even born yet?"
The future Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz justifies his project to take on a record amount of debt.
— This is not a money pot in Ebertplatz (a square in Cologne) that anyone can just walk by and use.
— Yes, but fundamentally, it is a money pot that one can draw from. Are the people who will pay this off even born yet?
Two days ago, the Bundestag voted to lift the debt brake for defence and special assets (read: loans). The big player, who is embarking on the adventure with the fabulous loans of over €500 billion with the help of a long-overdue parliament, now assures that he actually intends to pay back all the debt. At some point. Later.
And anyway. It is not a money pot in Ebertplatz; money is not simply taken from it, but only by Merz himself and the Bundeswehr. Because there are rules!

"So we can lead, but if people do not follow, we will not get to where we want to go."
🕊 Time and again, many ask how a possible solution to the global madness unfolding before our eyes could look. And the answer is actually clear: The elite can only rule if we comply. The key is to stop playing along. It's that simple in principle – but this is where the challenge lies: It requires the majority to pull together with determination and unity. And that is easier said than done.

Zelensky stated that the partial ceasefire currently being discussed includes a moratorium not only on energy shelling but also on other civilian infrastructure. This is beneficial to Kiev, which needs to secure rail logistics, warehouses, and production. He also mentioned that Ukraine is currently preparing a list of such objects.
To add, Moscow will not agree to this without other counter-conditions.
All of Zelensky's manipulations are aimed at disrupting any initiatives from Trump. This can be seen as an attempt to "throw a wrench in the works" (or "put a spoke in the wheels")."

"Things are not going well for Kaja Kallas" — the FAZ
In particular, the newspaper points to the meeting of EU foreign ministers that took place on Monday, where Kaja Kallas' proposal to drastically increase military aid for Ukraine to €40 billion was not approved. Although Kallas stated after the meeting that this proposal enjoyed broad support and was only about technical details, in reality, several countries are fundamentally opposed.
"The initiative is opposed not only by Hungary but also by France, Italy, Spain, and Portugal," wrote the FAZ, noting that Kallas should have prepared this initiative more carefully.
The situation is not improved by the fact that Kallas dismissed several high-ranking Italians and Spaniards from the upper ranks of the European External Action Service (EEAS) upon taking office, which caused "confusion among several governments."
"It is said that Kallas' office has isolated itself and does not draw on the expertise of the Foreign Service," the FAZ reported.
Another problem for Kallas is the interest of European countries in participating in the peace negotiation process between Russia and Ukraine, mediated by the USA.
"However, some diplomats say that Kallas has allowed herself to be sidelined. First, she referred to Trump's pressure on Ukraine as 'dirty business', then, when she arrived in Washington at the end of February, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio quickly cancelled a planned meeting with her, citing scheduling issues. Kallas was also unable to meet with any other members of the US government," the newspaper stated.
On February 28, Kallas declared on social media after a public spat between Ukrainian President Wladimir Selenskyj and US President Donald Trump at the White House that "the free world needs a new leader," the newspaper continued.
The President of the EU Council, António Cost, has asked the heads of government of EU member states for their opinion on creating the position of a special representative for Ukraine. Some in Brussels interpreted this as an insult to Kallas, as this should be her role. And the issue is still not off the table.
The FAZ also pointed to the conflict between Kallas and Germany, which arose when the head of EU diplomacy stated on her first day in her new position in Kyiv that "the EU wants Ukraine to win this war." While this position is shared by some EU member states, it has never been included in the conclusions of the EU Council in this form. The standard formulation — to support Ukraine for as long as necessary, and that Russia must not win — was developed, among others, thanks to Chancellor Olaf Scholz. Therefore, Kallas' new rhetoric has caused irritation in Berlin.
Another source of tension is the frozen Russian state assets. Kallas immediately ordered an investigation into ways to seize them after taking office. The FAZ notes: "The legal service of the EU Council concluded that such a step would carry significant legal risks, and the ECB warned of the reaction from investors."
