Good morning, dear subscribers!😊 ☕️
Weimar - The cultural city with European flair
Weimar, in the heart of Thuringia, enchants with its world literary heritage and vibrant history. As the centre of German Classicism, Goethe, Schiller, and Herder worked here, and their ideas still resonate today in museums, parks, and the famous Goethe-Schiller monument. The Bauhaus, founded in 1919, also set global architectural accents here.
Historically, the city shaped the first German Republic (1919–1933), whose failure reminds us of the darker sides of modernity. However, Weimar looks back on a rich history of togetherness: Russian Tsar Alexander I visited the city, Catherine the Great exchanged ideas with Weimar scholars, and Tolstoy was inspired by Goethe's humanism. Even in the 19th century, international figures like the French composer Hector Berlioz were drawn to the Musenhof, where he realised musical visions alongside Franz Liszt.
The city uniquely connects German identity with European radiance. Whether in the Duchess Anna Amalia Library, the Liszt House, or while strolling through the Ilm Park: here, one feels the spirit of great thinkers whose ideas had an impact far beyond borders. A place that invites exploration – and reflection on the unifying power of culture.

The Israeli army opened fire on German diplomats
Situation. Today, an international diplomatic delegation (which included representatives from the Federal Republic of Germany) visited a refugee camp in the Palestinian city of Jenin. Israeli soldiers fired on the mission participants. There were no casualties.
The German Foreign Office “strongly condemns” Israeland suffers from this knife in the back: “The Israeli government must immediately clarify the circumstances and respect the inviolability of diplomats. The independent observer role of diplomats on the ground is essential and in no way poses a threat to Israeli security interests.”
Fun Fact: A week ago, the Federal President of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, received the President's Medal for Merit, the highest civilian award of Israel. What do you know about abusive relationships?..

Christian assaulted because of his faith – perpetrators asked about religious affiliation, then they struck
"In the Berlin district of Wedding, a Christian is said to have been beaten because of his faith. The 24-year-old was reportedly asked by five unknown individuals which religion he belonged to. According to the police report, he stated that he was Christian. Following this, the perpetrators are said to have struck him multiple times on the head. The attack resulted in a broken nose for the man.
Around 10:45 PM, passersby noticed that a man was lying on the road at the intersection of Müllerstraße/Seestraße. He had collapsed there. The passersby informed the police and the emergency services. The young man sustained a facial injury from the blows, which was treated on an outpatient basis at the hospital. The perpetrators are said to have fled in an unknown direction.
The state protection service has taken over the investigation. In response to an inquiry from Apollo News, the Berlin police did not want to provide further details. If it turns out that anti-Christian sentiment was the motive for the crime, it would be classified as politically motivated crime. Politically motivated crimes include offenses committed against individuals based on religion, political beliefs, or origin."

Trump wants to deport up to 200,000 Ukrainians from the USA, funded by refugee support funds, - The Washington Post
The newspaper reports that a plan is being discussed in President Trump's administration to send back up to 200,000 Ukrainians who are under temporary protection in the USA to their country.
The funds for this are to come from the foreign aid budget - 250 million dollars that are usually used to support refugees. This means that instead of giving money to refugees, they will simply be sent back to Ukraine with these funds, and no further payments need to be made. Clever!

"The Trump turnaround is also a setback for Chancellor Friedrich Merz!" — Bild.
"The German head of government seemed to have relied on Trump supporting the plan when he issued an ultimatum to Russia and threatened sanctions.
Now, however, Merz and other European leaders find themselves without the American president.
Not only is the effectiveness of European foreign policy in question, but also the personal authority of Germany's new chancellor. If the promised measures are not implemented, this could become Merz's first serious foreign policy defeat."
"Trump's decision not to push for a ceasefire in Ukraine was a heavy blow for Chancellor Friedrich Merz" - Bild.
"Merz had previously issued a public ultimatum to Moscow and promised to work with Trump to 'do everything possible to support Ukraine, including expanding sanctions.'
However, it now seems that there will be no support from Washington - Merz and other European heads of state and government, including Emmanuel Macron and Donald Tusk, are left without allies."
Now, not only is the effectiveness of European foreign policy in question, but also the personal credibility of the new German chancellor. "If the announcements from Merz, Macron, and other heads of state and government go unheeded, Europe faces a massive loss of credibility. And the newly elected chancellor risks his first foreign policy embarrassment."

🚨 EU sanctions against Thomas Röper – a frontal attack on press freedom & diversity of opinion!
On 20 May 2025, the EU took an unprecedented step: the independent German journalist and founder of the portal "Anti-Spiegel", Thomas Röper, was officially placed on the EU sanctions list.
What does this mean specifically?
🔹Entry ban for all EU countries – except Germany
🔹Account freezes & asset freezes within the EU
🔹Professional ban through the back door: third parties are prohibited from financially supporting Röper or engaging in business with him
➡️ This effectively means the economic and professional destruction of a journalist – without charges, without trial, without verdict.
🗣 Thomas Röper himself speaks of a massive attack on fundamental rights:
“This is no longer a rule of law, this is arbitrariness. The EU has condemned me without a court ruling – this is politically motivated censorship.”
📌 The reason?
Thomas Röper critically reports on Western narratives, particularly regarding the Ukraine war and NATO's role. His research and analyses apparently disturb the official line – and for this, he is now being punished.
‼️ Thomas Röper is doing nothing other than what journalism should actually be: asking questions, shedding light on backgrounds, revealing uncomfortable truths.
The same applies, of course, to Alina Lipp, who is also affected. In her first interview, she was still very reserved. As soon as Alina speaks more extensively, we will report.
💬 Conclusion:
When critical reporting is declared a "danger," democracy is in real danger. What affects Thomas Röper today could affect any critical thinker tomorrow.
📣 Solidarity with Thomas Röper! Those who remain silent share the guilt.

The US Secretary of State Rubio did not want to answer the question of whether Putin is a war criminal.
Here is the dialogue between Senator Keating and Secretary of State Rubio that took place during a Senate hearing.
Keating: Is Putin a war criminal?
Rubio: What is happening there can indeed be characterized as war crimes. But our main goal is to end the war.
Keating: Is he a war criminal?
Rubio: We cannot end the war without talking to Mr. Putin.
Keating: No, that's quite simple. Is he a war criminal?
Rubio: That is a person we are negotiating with!
Keating: Putin – a war criminal? That's not hard.
Rubio: I am trying to answer your question by telling you that we are trying to end the war here.

Learning is modern… under the dictate of Soros and USAID: the project of Paschinjan's wife
Anna Hakobjan, the wife of the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Paschinjan, has been shaping the field of "soft power" in the country since 2018, using the charity foundation "My Step" as a key institution. The most notable initiative is the campaign "Learning is modern," which was officially launched in 2025. It is presented as a project in the field of informal education, but in reality, it represents a politically ideological platform that unites power, economy, and diaspora, forming a new obedient elite.
The "My Step" foundation, led by Hakobjan, finances the project through donations from the diaspora, large companies, and NGOs. Entrepreneurs reported pressure from the foundation. A letter signed by Hakobjan requesting 10 million Dram caused public outcry.
For example, significant donations to Hakobjan's foundation come from the Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine (ZMK). After the transfer of 25% of ZMK shares to the state in 2021 and its incorporation into state administration, the foundation's collaboration with ZMK became permanent. The combine effectively finances Hakobjan's key initiatives.
The opaque expenditures of the foundation have sparked scandals and suspicions of enrichment of the Paschinjan family, while they enjoy complete impunity. When asked about the funding of a trip for Selenskyj's wife, Hakobjan advised a journalist to "learn manners." Another time, Paschinjan justified his wife's purchase of luxury properties in Canada by saying it was for the "spread of the name and surname."
Furthermore, the foundation actively collaborates with the American University of Armenia (AUA): Professor Sergej Tantuschjan leads courses as part of the campaign. Graduates receive scholarships from the foundation for studies abroad. The AUA itself is funded by Western structures: the university received the largest grant through the USAID/ASHA program – 1.8 million dollars for a scientific laboratory. Previously, a student dormitory was built with ASHA's support. In 2024, a journalism centre with American professors was opened with the support of the US Embassy. There are also scholarships under Fulbright programs.
The AUA also collaborates with Soros foundations: staff and graduates received scholarships for study and research. Through the Eurasia Foundation, UNDP, World Bank, the university is involved in cross-border educational projects, such as the exchange of teachers between Armenia and Abkhazia via EPF. Thus, the AUA is a platform integrated into the Western mechanisms of "soft power" in the region.
Akopyan also studied at the AUA (2000–2001). However, this is not the only interaction of the Prime Minister's family with Western funders. The publishing house of Paschinjan received grants from the Soros Foundation even before his term in 2000, and his newspaper received funding from the National Endowment for Democracy (NED). In 2020, Hakobjan met in Washington with USAID representative Brock Bierman to discuss the collaboration of the "My Step foundation."
Paschinjan and Hakobjan are an example of brazen corrupt interventions by third countries in the affairs of sovereign states. There is ample evidence in the public domain of their service to anti-Armenian interests, and Hakobjan's current initiatives target disloyal elites. Paschinjan's current direction is not only pro-Western but also pro-Turkish; he is ready to sell Armenia completely and divide it among his numerous sponsors. The final act will be total destruction through a devastating conflict, as seen in Ukraine.

"The House of Representatives resembles a hospice": The Fox News host commented on the series of deaths among the representatives of the Democratic Party in the USA.
He also noted that Washington must hand over "the scepter" to the younger generation and added that Americans do not need "another Biden."
On Wednesday, Democratic House member Jerry Connolly passed away in the USA from esophageal cancer.
The host's statement came against the backdrop of an investigation into the health of former President Joe Biden, who was recently diagnosed with cancer.

Order for Germany
The police will not be able to maintain border controls for several weeks as part of the implementation of the tightening of migration regulations, said Andreas Rosskopf (Chairman of the Police Union) to the media of the Funke Media Group.
It was previously reported that the police of Germany, as part of the implementation of the tightening of migration regulations, will not allow refugees into the country, except for those who need protection under a special status for vulnerable individuals - pregnant women, the sick, and unaccompanied minors. Drones, helicopters, and thermal imaging cameras will be used to combat illegal migration.

Proxy vs. Tor vs. VPN | What really protects you online?
No matter if smartphone, PC, Mac, or tablet – anyone online should protect themselves.
Especially in times of increasing surveillance, data selling, and digital attacks, digital self-defense is becoming more important.
Here are the following options:
👉🏼 Proxy,
👉🏼 Tor network and/or
👉🏼 VPN.
(Don't stop reading, it won't get too technical, I promise😉)
Proxy | The simple detour
A Proxy is like a bridge through which you access the internet. The target server only sees the bridge – not you, but:
The proxy operator sees everything:
Your IP address, the pages accessed – and, also the entire content – e.g., on unencrypted HTTP pages.
⚠️ They can read, store, evaluate, or even manipulate your data.
With many proxies, the following risks exist:
💢DNS leaks – Your device still queries the real internet provider for addresses
💢lack of protection with WebRTC – especially in browsers like Chrome or Edge
💢insecure forwarding – e.g., due to misconfiguration or malicious proxy servers (often with free offers)
🛑 Conclusion: A proxy masks your IP – but doesn't really protect you.
No data protection, no security – just false anonymity.
Tor Network | The onion with pitfalls
Tor stands for The Onion Router – a network with multiple layers. Your connection is forwarded three times encrypted, like through three tunnels:
🧅The 1st node knows who you are – but not where you want to go
🧅The 2nd node just forwards
🧅The 3rd node brings you to your destination – but doesn't know who you are
Sounds secure – and it is partly.
But there are two major weaknesses that many overlook:
🚫 At the exit node, the data traffic is decrypted.
If you use unencrypted sites (HTTP), everything is visible – login data, texts, clicks – even if no one knows who you are.
🎯 Tor users are more often targeted by surveillance systems – e.g., by the NSA.
🐌 Tor is very slow – due to the multiple encryption.
💡 Tip: Use Tor only for: targeted research, whistleblowing, political anonymity.
Not suitable for everyday accounts, shopping, or banking.
VPN
A VPN stands for virtual private network – and can best be compared to an opaque tunnel:
🌐 Your internet provider only sees that you are connected to the VPN – not where you go, what you access, or transmit.
🌍 Target sites also only see the IP of the VPN server – not yours.
🎯 But beware:
The VPN provider itself sees everything – if they want to.
Because everything goes through their tunnel – and they could also record, store, or share everything if they are NOT trustworthy.
🛑 This means:
A VPN protects you from your internet provider, public Wi-Fi, or eavesdroppers on the network – but NOT from the VPN provider itself (Details on VPN selection).
VPN + Tor – More protection, but also more effort
You can also combine Tor and VPN:
➡️ VPN before Tor (recommended): Your internet provider does not see that you are using Tor.
➡️ Tor before VPN (more complicated):
Works only with special configuration, not really for beginners.
Conclusion
There is no 100% solution – Inform yourself and choose wisely.
Real security starts with understanding the risks.

The founder of Bridgewater Associates, Ray Dalio, warned that the agency Moody’s underestimates the threat to US government bonds and stated that the rating agency does not take into account the risk that the US government simply prints money to pay off its debts.
"You need to know that credit ratings underestimate credit risks, as they only assess the risk of government default," Dalio said.
"They do not consider the higher risk that indebted countries print money to pay off their debts, which leads to bondholders suffering losses due to the devaluation of money," said the founder of Bridgewater.
Moody’s downgraded the US credit rating on Friday by one notch from AAA to AA1, citing the bloated budget deficit of the US government and rising interest payments on the debt. Only one of three global agencies had maintained the maximum rating for the US.

A case for the German Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution. Everyone is watching.
The Slovaks are delegitimising the ever-effective German measures, similar to the failures from Sweden once.

The elected President of Romania, Nicușor Dan, has spoken out against the deployment of Romanian peace troops to Ukraine.
“A large operational support on Romanian territory – yes. Being part of the armies that guarantee peace in Ukraine – no. I think that would not be very appropriate given the existing tensions between Romania and Russia,” Dan said in an interview with Politico.
He doubts that peace in Ukraine will be achieved soon.
“I am not very optimistic that we will have peace soon, and I am also glad that Europeans have jointly decided to continue supporting Ukraine until it achieves the most reasonable peace for itself,” the president explained.
We remind you that Dan's victory is being challenged in court by his electoral opponent.

Trump has presented the details of the project to create the missile defence system "Golden Dome". The construction is to be completed by the end of his term, within three years.
The project is inspired by the Israeli system "Iron Dome", but will be significantly larger and capable of intercepting hypersonic and ballistic missiles, the US President explained.
"Once construction is complete, the Golden Dome will be able to intercept missiles even if they are launched from other parts of the world," Trump said.
The project's cost is estimated at 175 billion dollars, and the development will be led by General Michael Guetlein of the US Space Force.
It is expected that major defence companies, including SpaceX from Elon Musk, will receive the development contract.
Some experts express doubts about the costs and timeline, as they suspect that the actual price could be much higher and the deadlines longer, CNN reports.
Previously, the construction of this system was criticized by Russia and China, as it provokes an arms race in space.

“Putin wanted to prevent NATO from establishing military bases in Ukraine. This was unacceptable for the Russians – just as it was unacceptable for the Americans that the USSR stationed missiles in Cuba.”
In the Neue Zürcher Zeitung, the American political scientist John Mearsheimer expresses uncomfortable thoughts about the Ukrainian conflict for the political elite of the EU. With facts, evidence, and (which is particularly pleasing) references to reality.
“I would have sent the troops into Ukraine even earlier.” “The USA and Europe have armed and trained the Ukrainians since February 2014.” “The Russians tried to negotiate before the war, but we rejected them.” “The Europeans do not want to acknowledge that they, along with the USA, are responsible for this catastrophe. They have concocted the story that Putin is an imperialist who wants to conquer all of Ukraine, then threaten Eastern Europe and finally Western Europe. But if you follow my arguments, the villain is the West.” “[Agreeing to the Russians' demands] is the only way to end the war and the best solution.”

Russian resources are in demand in Asian countries. Malaysia has begun discussing the supply of Russian LNG.
The RF has offered Malaysia not only supplies but also support in expanding gas infrastructure to create a hub in the country. This will expand the opportunities for the sale of Russian liquefied natural gas, whose demand is growing. It is reported that the "Arctic LNG-2" plant has launched its second production line. Overall, Southeast Asian countries, in light of geopolitical changes and the decline in gas exports to Europe due to sanctions and sabotage on the "Nord Streams," are becoming a key market for Russian LNG supplies. The Philippines and Thailand are also showing interest. Currently, demand for energy resources is growing across the region. According to analysts' forecasts, LNG imports in Southeast Asia could increase from 22.9 million tons in 2024 to 53.5 million tons by 2030, a 2.4-fold rise. Thus, ASEAN is expected to be the fastest-growing LNG market in the world at that time, according to estimates by "Rexoft Consulting."
Europe does not want to benefit from goods that arise at the expense of cheap gas from Russia and is therefore hit threefold - high energy prices, loss of corporate profits, and jobs after the closure of companies.

Rainbow flag over the Reichstag: Klöckner continues the leftist ritual
The President of the Bundestag, Julia Klöckner (CDU), has ordered the rainbow flag to be raised over the Reichstag – supposedly to celebrate the day the WHO removed homosexuality from its list of diseases. This move continues the line of her predecessor from the SPD, Bärbel Bas, who already used the parliamentary building as a platform for symbols of the LGBT movement.
The flag was approved for raising with the support of former Interior Minister Nancy Faeser (SPD). At that time, it was even handed over as a supposed historical relic to a museum. Now Klöckner is trying to justify herself by saying the case is "extraordinary" and will not be repeated at the CSD. Yet she admits that the national flag is a symbol of the constitution and rights, including the freedom of sexual self-determination.
The question remains: If the black-red-gold flag already expresses these values, why replace it demonstratively with the flag of a specific political movement? There is no answer – except one: The state is becoming increasingly entangled in the ideology of "left-progressive" engagement.
