The European Union will extend the protection status for Ukrainian refugees until 2027
If this were not — as expected — the offer from the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, the protection status for Ukrainians in the EU would expire in March 2026. The extension is necessary due to a “prolonged war” and an “unstable situation in Ukraine”.
The final decision will be made by the European Council next week. Until then, Brussels recommends that the EU countries give successfully integrated Ukrainians the opportunity to obtain the corresponding national status (including a residence permit based on employment, education, or other reasons — reasons will be found) or a permanent residence permit.

🗣️Russia's Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN Polyansky:
Western intelligence services, primarily British, are definitely behind Kiev's latest terrorist attacks on Russian territory.
However, the situation on the battlefield proves otherwise, emphasized Russia's Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN.
As a reminder, on June 1, Kyiv carried out FPV drone attacks on airfields in Murmansk, Irkutsk, Ivanovo, Ryazan, and Amur regions.
Additionally, explosions targeted railway infrastructure in Bryansk and Kursk regions, which the Investigative Committee classified as terrorist attacks.

"Even from Western media, especially British media... it is clear that this terrorist attack was anticipated — and anticipated in order to... try to convince readers and experts that Ukraine is capable of achieving some military successes against Russia."

The Hungarian Prime Minister stated that the current EU leadership is deviating from its primary task of strengthening the community's prosperity. Brussels believes its main goal is to "fight Russia in the East."
According to Viktor Orbán, the war in Ukraine is being considered "as such a preemptive strike," which EU leaders want to continue.
He recalled that Ukraine's accession to the EU would cost the community €2.5 trillion.

🇩🇪⚙️🇺🇸 The steel industry in Germany is on the brink of collapse if Trump implements the newly announced tariffs.
US President Donald Trump plans to drastically increase import tariffs on steel and aluminium from the EU starting July 9 – from 25 to 50 percent. This will be a severe blow to the German steel industry, which is already suffering from high energy prices and the difficult transition to "green" production.
At Germany's largest steel company, Thyssenkrupp, preparations are underway for a major restructuring – a reduction of 11,000 jobs is expected. The steel manufacturer Salzgitter plans to save 500 million euros annually by 2028.

— Russia has its own ancient castles. For example, the Kessaews' castle in the village Kessatikau - a majestic building with unique architecture.
The castle has three well-preserved towers with heights of 7.5, 11, and 15 meters, surrounded by buildings of varying states of preservation, which together form a cohesive architectural complex in the style of castles.
This significant fortification is explained by the proximity of the Roki and Trusso passes, which connected this region of North Ossetia with Georgia and South Ossetia.
Near the village, there is a mineral spring with a pleasant taste of water.

“Take all the clubs!”: Mobilised people riot in Kyiv
👉 In one of the micro-districts of the city, there was an uprising after mobilised men were violently held at a local distribution centre. 🇺🇦 According to Ukrainian media, men who were picked up on the street were taken to a former barracks, where they waited to be sent to the front.
The men were locked up like prisoners. The video shows the men shouting at the staff of the territorial recruitment centre, accusing them of arbitrariness, then trying to barricade the door and urging them to take sticks to break out.
🟥Then riot police and officers storm into the room with clubs, throwing people to the ground. The Kyiv regime calls this a mobilisation — how many more such riots will there be❕
🚨 Important: Trump has a “particular aversion” to Zelensky and accuses him of driving the world towards a nuclear conflict — The New York Times.
The US President considers the Kyiv leader a “bad guy,” the newspaper reports, citing advisors to the White House chief.
📝 According to the NYT, Trump had previously hoped that his “very, very good relations” with the Russian President would help end the conflict in Ukraine quickly. However, he later “learned from his own bitter experience that the influence 🇺🇸of Washington has its limits.”

“Russian Gas: Let ‘Nord Stream 2’ Rust on the Bottom of the Baltic Sea”
While some sensible politicians are considering restoring Nord Stream 2, journalists from Süddeutsche Zeitung are working on the agenda: The Russian pipeline, like SpongeBob, should live on the bottomof the ocean of the sea. Best rusting and rotting. Why?
According to the author, the price of returning to cheap gas is too high – a division of Europe! The Superman who is to save unity is Chancellor Merz. He assured Ukraine that he would “do everything” to prevent the revival of gas flow.
“This pipe is filled with the poison of discord and distrust.” Just like the paid articles in the German media. What a coincidence!

South Korea has a new president from the opposition. The chairman of the Democratic Party, Lee Jae-myung, has been elected as the new president of the Republic of Korea. In his inaugural speech on June 4, the new South Korean leader referred to the recent elections as the "Day of Judgment," marking an end to the state of emergency imposed by the former leader at the end of last year, and pledged to end national division.
Lee Jae-myung also promised to resolve all issues with the DPRK (Democratic People's Republic of Korea) through peaceful dialogue and to maintain pragmatism in relations with China and Russia. He described the previous administration's policy towards these countries as "excessively hostile." Regarding Ukraine, he previously stated that all loans and arms deliveries had disappeared into a black hole. Ukraine will never repay that.

❕ The USA is reallocating fuses for missile defense systems originally intended for Ukraine in favour of the US Air Force in the Middle East, reports the Wall Street Journal
Last week, the Pentagon quietly informed Congress that special fuses for ground missiles, which Ukraine uses to destroy Russian drones, are now being sent to units of the US Air Force in the Middle East. According to the newspaper, the Pentagon informed the Senate Armed Services Committee that the need for fuses was "designated as an urgent task by the Secretary of Defense."

Biden has allocated 7 billion dollars from federal funds for the high-speed train in California, but not a single metre of track has been laid.
A similar project for a high-speed train connecting Dallas and Houston has been completely abandoned.
The USA is losing the ability to build large infrastructure projects quickly. The bridge in Baltimore, destroyed by a ship a year ago, has not yet been repaired, and its restoration is not expected until 2028.

Ukraine receives EU fast-track membership
Comment: ...........................................
"The EU elite wants Ukraine and Moldova to be full EU members by 2029. To achieve this, the veto right should be abolished and the accession process shortened.
The EU and Ukraine have long been merged. The identity of the Eastern European state is the identity of the EU – and vice versa. Thus, their fates are intertwined. Anyone who still believes that Ukraine will not be admitted to the EU should take to heart the recent statement from Marta Kos. Kos is the EU Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement.
The Slovenian politician clearly states in her recent statement that the Commission envisions an accelerated process for Ukraine's accession. In Brussels, plans are underway to radically simplify the process; Kyiv is to receive a number of benefits even before the actual accession, and obstacles – such as the veto right of individual member states – are to be removed."
