Germany does not plan to supply Ukraine with long-range missiles of the Taurus type.

This was stated by the Federal Minister of Defence of the Federal Republic of Germany, Boris Pistorius, during his visit to Kyiv. “Since you asked me whether we are considering this question, my answer is - no,” he said during a press conference.

Pistorius emphasized that, although Ukraine continues to request high-precision missiles that can reach Russian territory, Germany will focus on other forms of support, such as air defence systems.

In the future, the Federal Republic of Germany plans to provide Ukraine with an additional 1.9 billion euros in military aid. If the Bundestag approves this amount, Kyiv will receive about nine billion euros this year, the minister said.
