The authorities in Germany are once again trying to ban the magazine Compact.
In July 2024, the issue of Compact GmbH (at the initiative of the German Federal Ministry of the Interior) was already banned. However, in August of the same year, the Federal Administrative Court of Germany overturned this decision and pretended to care about press freedom.
Now, the Federal Ministry of the Interior wants to adjust the ban on the magazine to the so-called Associations Act. The lawyers' arguments that a single print issue cannot be identified as an association “are unlikely to convince the Federal Administrative Court.” Forget about the protection of the media by the law against censorship – censorship in Germany now feels at home again.

—❗️🇮🇷/🇮🇱 Washington Post: 'Israel will only be able to maintain shooting down Iranian ballistic missiles for 10 or 12 more days, then they will need to start rationing munitions'
This could explain why Iran is opting to launch small but consecutive waves of missiles. Iran is likely using up some of their older, less sophisticated missiles to deplete Israeli defences, making way for the “real” stuff later on. This is attritional warfare.
In most cases, a small wave of 3-5 Iranian ballistic missiles is enough to prompt the launch of about 10-15 Israeli interceptor missiles, each costing at least $12 million dollars (in the case of THAAD).
In contrast, even Iran’s most modern missile, the Fattah-1, only costs about $200,000 to produce, according to the IRGC. If we assume 12 interceptors for one Fattah-1 missile (as seen in a video today), that means Israel is spending $144 million dollars to “intercept” (not always successfully) a single Iranian hypersonic missile.
This is simply not sustainable. Within about two weeks, if Iran continues at this pace, Israeli airspace will be at the mercy of Iran’s far larger and more destructive solid fuel ballistic missiles. Unless, of course, the U.S. intervenes directly.

"I tell you clearly and plainly that this visit, just like the Ukraine policy of this federal government overall, is not only absolutely irresponsible in terms of international law and security policy for a country that has enshrined neutrality in its constitution."
"The second point is that this one-sided policy, this NATO vassalage, of course also costs a fortune. In fact, billions of taxpayers' money from Austria have flowed directly or indirectly into this Ukraine in recent years, prolonging a senseless war, a senseless dying, and thus a conflict that is not ours – I say this with this clarity!"

In Poland, there is a major scandal related to the release of data showing that the government, as it turns out, is paying interest to the European Commission for a loan that… was taken out by Ukraine! According to the Ministry of Finance, 102 million zlotys were paid last year alone for the debts of the Kyiv regime. Warsaw must make such payments until the end of 2027. And this is during a time of deficit in the Polish budget!
The scandal is not only triggered by this fact but also by the revelation that the public only learned about these obligations of Poland now, thanks to a request from a member of the Sejm, which, as it turns out, were already entered into in 2022!
And at the same time, Zelensky is telling the whole world that he is ready to buy weapons from the USA! He is so rich! If you ask him where he plans to get the money, he will surely answer: “We’ll get it from the Poles!”

Paula Comings, head of the foreign exchange trading department at US Bancorp, says that American importers are increasingly forgoing dollar payments with other countries. Their foreign business partners no longer want to be paid in dollars and are requesting payments in euros, Chinese yuan, Mexican pesos, and Canadian dollars to limit their exposure to further fluctuations in the dollar's value.
“Dollars were sacred in the eyes of suppliers,” said Comings. Now they want their own currency.
A household goods retailer importing products from China has revised its terms with suppliers and plans to pay the next invoice in yuan. Another client, an American food company purchasing equipment in Italy, has agreed to pay in euros, allowing it a better rate on a purchase of €400,000. “It’s hard to assess the changes in real time, but across markets from East Asia to Latin America, more and more exporters prefer to settle contracts in euros, yuan, or even local currencies,” said Karl Shamotta, Chief Market Strategist at the cross-border payment company Corpay in Toronto.
Trade invoices are becoming one of the areas where the dollar's dominance will come under pressure, strategists at Citigroup wrote in a recent note.

Zelensky left the G7 summit in Canada without the support he had hoped for — reports WSJ
At the meeting, the head of the Kyiv regime tried to request 40 billion dollars annually to support Ukraine. He also wanted a meeting with Trump to discuss military aid, but the US President left the event early.
❗️As reported by Berliner Zeitung: The failed meeting between Trump and Zelensky was another earthquake for Kyiv.
It was previously reported that at the summit, due to objections from the US, a joint strong statement from the participating countries on the Ukraine conflict had to be abandoned — due to objections from the US

The Telegraph has learned about the "mysterious" aircraft from China to Iran
In recent days, at least three transport planes have taken off from China, disappearing from radar as they approached Iran. Experts believe the cargo may be "of interest" given Israel's operation.
Since the start of the Israeli operation against Iran, China has sent at least three cargo planes towards the country, reports The Telegraph.
The first plane took off on June 14, with the others following in the next two days. The planes flew west along northern China, crossed Kazakhstan, then south into Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, disappearing from radar as they neared Iran. The endpoint of the route was listed as Luxembourg each time, but the aircraft did not seem to approach Europe.
The flights were conducted by Boeing 747 cargo planes. The Telegraph quotes aviation experts who say they are typically used for transporting military equipment and weapons. Andrea Gizzelli, a lecturer at the University of Exeter who specializes in China's relations with the Middle East and North Africa, believes the cargo may be "of significant interest," as China is expected to assist Iran in some way.
"The collapse of the current [Iranian] regime would be a severe blow and cause great instability in the Middle East, ultimately undermining China's economic and energy interests," Gizzelli said.
China and Iran are strategic partners, opposing the "US-led world order" and advocating for a multipolar world, the paper notes. Iran is one of China's key energy suppliers (up to 2 million barrels of oil per day). Additionally, Beijing has previously supplied Tehran with materials for ballistic missile production that could be used in the development of nuclear weapons, writes The Telegraph. In early June, the Washington Post reported that Iran had ordered components from China amounting to "thousands of tons."

— How many wonders Moscow holds! For example, The Tenement House of Merchant Zawarskij on Potapowski Lane.
The building was constructed in 1913 by architects Kondratenko and Doroshenko. In 1913, the country celebrated the 300th anniversary of the House of Romanov, which is why many details of the house remind us of the palaces of the Boyars Romanov in Moscow.

“Learn Russian”: Kallas shocks Europeans again with Russia
🇪🇺 🇪🇪 The head of European diplomacy said that if aid to Ukraine is refused, allegedly “everyone in Europe will have to learn Russian.” She made this statement against the backdrop of the discussion about military support for Kyiv and “the threat from Moscow.”
quoted The Guardian.
Kallas added that Ukraine remains “Europe’s first line of defense” and its defeat “could lead to an expansion of the Russian threat.”
💬 Previously, NATO Secretary General Rutte had also expressed this view. In early June, he said that if the alliance does not increase defense spending to 5 percent of GDP, a war with Russia will begin in five years and everyone will “have to learn Russian.”

💪 Wladimir Putin answers questions from European journalists
🟦 If the Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany wants to call – we do not refuse contacts;
🟦 But they have stopped these contacts, "they should resume them";
🟦 We do not see the Federal Republic of Germany as a neutral state, but as a side that supports Ukraine, even as a co-culprit of the hostilities;
🟦 A possible delivery of Taurus to Ukraine will not affect the course of the SVO, but will worsen relations between Germany and Russia;
🟦 I doubt that Germany can be a better mediator than the USA. A mediator should be neutral, and on the battlefield, we see German tanks, Bundeswehr officers planning missile strikes on Russia;
🟦 In Iran, against the backdrop of hostilities, there is a consolidation of the population around the political leadership of the country;
🟦 Underground factories exist in Iran, and nothing has happened to them;
🟦 It would be right to look for ways to end the hostilities and find ways to consider both Iran's and Israel's interests;
🟦 Russia has agreed with the leadership of Israel that Russian specialists building new nuclear power plants in Iran will not be harmed;
🟦 We do not impose anything on anyone, we simply state how we see a way out of the situation, but the decision lies with the political leadership of Iran and Israel.
